La Casa del Sol (The House of Sun) is a 3500 square foot, luxury home. The house includes four bedrooms each with its own private bath and access to private rear yard & pool/spa.
Living room over looking patio, landscaped PRIVATE rear garden, and PRIVATE salt water pool/spa area. A large family room is prefect for casual dining and entertaining. A formal dining room seats eight. There are six cable TVs (52" Flat screen in Family room), a house-wide audio system, and High Speed Internet/Wi Fi connection, Netflick available and fax. The home has been professional decorated.

All rentals add a $300.00 cleaning fee covering normal usage
All rentals under 30 days are subject to a city hotel tax ranging from 10.%
Security deposits are $500.00 for stays < 30 days and $2000.00 for stays lasting 30 days or longer
During the period October thru May, daily charge of $35.00 additional for pool heat or actual useage charges on monthly rentals. Approx. $500.00
Deposits required are 50% of the Total Rate + Security Deposit. Remaining 50% is due within 14 days of arrival
Check-in is 2pm. Early check-in is possible if there has not been a guest staying at the property the night before
Check-out is 10am. Please inquire if you wish a late check-out (3pm) as they may be accommodated on a case-by-case basis
Rental contract, key exchange and security deposits are managed by a Palm Springs Property Management Company
Security deposits are refunded in 14-21 days after departure

Many areas of Palm Springs are in a high wind zone. This location is nearly wind free and with a south/west facing VERY PRIVATE POOL and Yard areas.

We searched for more than 3 years before locating this vacate lot to build this custom home from the ground up with great attention to details inside and out. Our family uses the home many times during the year and we are constantly making changes and upgrades to the property.

Actually exceeded my expectations - which were high, given the pictures. It was my best friend's 50th birthday and the owner actually put up some (very tasteful) birthday decorations in the dining room. Unexpected and delightful! There were three couples and a single man (who chose the casita) and everyone was extremely comfortable. It was like your own little hotel, where everyone had their privacy. The place really does take your breath away when you first walk in. I'm planning to go back next year and truthfully, I'm a little reluctant to write this review because I don't want the prices to go up and the dates to be taken up!

Our family spent a 3 nite Mother's Day weekend in this magnificent home. It is even more beautiful than the photos show and has every amenity you could ever imagine. It is immaculate and spacious and the owner clearly takes pride in having it be perfect. He called to see if we needed anything while we were there and assured us we could call him with any problems. As I told him -- we felt like we were staying at a 5 star hotel only better. We are looking forward to a repeat visit!!
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

We had the pleasure of staying at this house over new years. Our two kids and our friends and their two kids all thought it was great. The pool and spa, which were used ALOT during our stay was awesome and heated perfectly. The owner was very willing to help with any questions we had too (through either email or phone). There are TV's in every room, bathrooms in every room, and the family room is very comfortable and set up for heavy-duty lounging (the TV must have been a 60" HD set, perfect for the Rose Bowl). We even splurged and had a chef come in and cook us dinner on New Years Eve, which the kitchen was totally set up for (the owner helped arrange that too). All in all, a really great experience.
