The accomodations were very clean and comfortable. Nice having your backyard on this pretty canal. Lots to do: snorkeling, fishing, beaching, biking, sunsets and relaxing in general. The public Sombrero beach is good for the Keys, but has a bit of sea grass on the beach. The private beaches at the Cabana and Inch beach provide nice options and were cleaned daily of the sea grass, and were quite enjoyable. Also Key West is about an hour away, which makes for a great diversion. Homes at KCB are quite well maintained in general which adds to the experience.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

We stayed in this home again this and were very happy. The house is clean, nicely decorated and updated. There is a nice dock for a boat, along with a variety of outdoor furniture so you can enjoy your time outdoors enjoying the canal views and the wildlife. Key Colony Beach is a great location in the Keys. It gives you a neighborhood feel and is centrally located to so many sights and attractions (Dolphin Research Center, the 7 Mile Bridge, Bahia Honda State Park, Sombrero Beach, Islamorada for fishing, Big Pine Key for the Key Deer and Key West). This house also gives you use of the facilities at the Cabana Club for the pool, restaurant and beach, as well as Inch Beach, which is a private beach a block away. We are very glad we discovered this rental so we have a house to go to each year.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We have stayed in the middle keys several times a year for many years. This home is better than the pictures!!! The updates make it one of the nicest places i have stayed in!!! Has every small kitchen appliance needed and then some!!! All you need is your food,chlothes, and a boat and you have it made!!! Bait freezer outside is a must!! kept me from spending a small forutne on ICE!!! Plus made the wife happy to have the bait and fish out of the house!!! Very easy peolpe to work with and you can tell they have made it there home away from home!! would highly recommend to anyone!!! hope to get in again next year!!! The place is very clean and beautifully decorated just like how it looked in the VRBO ads. It is close to the Cabana club. We had fun swimming and when not swimming, we played tennis in the nearby tennis courts! Cindy, the owner was very nice.We enjoyed every minute of our stay! I took my daughter and two grandchildren down for a week and we absolutely loved this place. It took my 11 year old granddaughter to figure out how the light switches work in the bathroom (tiny lever next to the switch is a dimmer) but we had a laugh over that. I have been renting duplexes in Key Colony Beach for the past 25 years and this is absolutely the best one yet. Wonderful decor, nice furnishings for the kitchen, great location. Owner is very accessible and helpful. Just looking at the pictures of this place make me long to be back there! Of course the Cabana Club is nice as always. I won't stay anywhere else but Key Colony Beach for my Florida vacations.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed for a week in June to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. The accommodations were wonderful. The house is very clean, which is very important to me. We rented a boat and had easy access to ocean and bay. There were four of us and we had plenty of room. Visited the pool a couple of times and enjoyed meeting some of the locals. We would definetly stay here again!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We had a great time staying in this duplex for 2 weeks. We needed a place that could accomodate our 22' boat and have easy access to the Atlantic and Gulf and this fit the bill. There was room to park our boat trailer in the front and the step down dock out back allowed easy entry into the boat docked on the canal in the back. The inside was clean, well kept and had plenty of room to relax in. We spent our time snorkeling, fishing and sightseeing in the boat when the weather permitted and hanging out at the Cabana Club the rest of the time. In the afternoons, we hung out on the canal side for Happy Hour and to watch the wildlife unfold before us. The duplex has the afternoon sun setting behind you so you always have shade on the canal side. This was a very relaxing place to stay and convenient to anything you needed to do. The owner was helpful and prompt with any contact we had with them. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone else.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We rented this house for 2 weeks this year. When we arrived, we were very pleasantly surprised. The house is very well kept and tastfully decorated. It was everything we needed. The location is great, especially if you have a boat. Easy access to th Gulf and the ocean. It was great for walking in the morning to the coffee shop or you could ride the bikes that were available to the guests. A GREAT plus. It has a perfect location for all the amenities the island has to offer. We look forward to returning in the future. My family arrived to a beautiful, clean rental. A pleasure. Key Colony is a great quiet place to relax with lots of options if you want to dine, golf, scuba, boat or bike ride. Well stocked and many personal touches make this a Key Colony Stand out! Rented a boat and had it in front of the house for the week, it was great. Food at Key Colony Resturant was good but service poor. Key West is a easy drive only 1hour 15 min away.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The house was well maintained and very clean. Owners were helpful and very responsive. We felt comfortable and at home during our stay. Every restaurant we went to was great. Never got a disappointing meal or bad service. Enjoyed Lazy Days on the water. Great view and menu. Sparky's Landing just a couple of blocks over had great happy hour specials and wonderful homemade Key LIme Pie. Cabana Club was quiet and relaxing. Short walk or bike ride to Sunset Park to beautiful evening sunsets. Played golf at the par 3 course one street over. Very reasonably priced and fun. Went to Key West twice. It's only an hours drive away. Took in a tour of the Turtle Hospital. Very impressed with the work they do to help the sea turtles. Enjoyed Sombrero Beach. It's calm and quiet. I will recommend this property and Key Colony Beach to friends and relatives. We were very satisfied with our vacation stay in the Florida Keys.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We have been going to the Keys for 10+ years and this was absolutely one of our favorite places to stay. The home is very spacious for a 2 bedroom, has been recentyl renovated and updated, and had everything we needed. The boat dock out back was perfect and the canal was just a short 5 minute boat ride from Vaca Cut where we could access both the Gulf and the Atlantic. Thanks to the owners for such wonderful accommodations.
