This was our second time staying at the Holiday Cabin. My husband and I were celebrating our Anniversary and what a wonderful stay we had!! We fished, watched old movies, dined at great restaurants and just had an amazing time. I'm already planning another trip back with my family. GO TO THIS CABIN!!! You will absolutely love it and you won't want to leave! Thank You once again Joe and Carol, for sharing your Cozy Big Bear Cabin!!

Amazing Log Cabin!

NT & GT (Torrance, CA) From the moment we walked in, we fell in love with this sweet aromatic wooden log cabin! We were very impressed with the detailed rustic country decor and all the modern convenviences giving way to a very comfortable and pleasant stay. It had a very cozy and warm feeling to it with the fireplace, beautiful pictures gracing the cabin right down to the cookie baking sheets in their wonderful kitchen making us feel right at home! We definately would like to come back gather around the wooden table spend quality family time together sightseeing, relaxing and just enjoy this amazing cabin itself!

Fantastic place, Family loved it and it was my son"s birthday. He had a great time. The cabin is in a perfect location. This cabin has everything you need. The uppper loft was perfect to spend family time.Owner was very helpful in answering all questions. The only bad part is we couldn't stay longer. We all want to go back!!!!.Friends at work are asking about it and I will recommend it to everyone.Just hope they dont take it when I want it.Thanks for allowing us to say in your perfect place.

We brought our kids up to this cabin to have their first snow experience and boy did we have an awesome time! Not only is the home picturesque (exactly as nice as the pictures make it seem), but it was so cozy and home-like that we didn't want to leave! The kitchen is fully stocked with all of the utensils, dishes, pots, pans, etc. you could possibly need to cook amazing meals. The bedrooms fit our party of 8 comfortably, the loft was our kids' home away from home, and the snowy backyard was perfect for all of us. I've never rented a cabin before so now the bar has now been set incredibly high. The owners were also incredibly gracious. I can't wait to come back!

Perfect, Clean, Beautiful CABIN!!!

We stayed in this cozy cabin over the holidays and are looking forward to coming back soon. This cabin is so clean, cozy, very well kept and spacious. It had everything we wanted. We have twin girls that are almost 2 and this place was just perfect for them. The owner provided unbeliveable customer service, he was so nice and generous that you want to go stay there again :) We highly recommend this cabin...you will absolutely love it!!!!!! We can't wait to come back and this for sure will be our regular Big Bear cabin, no need to look anywhere else.

After reading the past reviews on this cabin, my expectations were pretty high; upon arrival, they were immediately met. We were greeted with a warm message and small gifts to start the weekend off just right. We couldn't believe how well kept, clean and modern (yet vintage) this awesome place felt. There was plenty of comfortable space for my party of ten. The kitchen had everything we needed from plates and utensils, to pots and pans. We had plenty of seating area in the living room to play board games, watch tv, and listen to music. The owner was very responsive and kept in communication with me every time I had questions or concerns. My entire party and I are definitely going to rent here again in the future. I even hesitated if I should write a review or not -- had to fight the selfishness of wanting this cabin all to myself! Thank you, guys for providing such an awesome place!

BEST CABIN IN BIG BEAR!!!

My family has been to Big Bear many times in the recent past and have stayed at a lot of different Cabins and this is BY FAR the nicest we have ever stayed at. It has everything you could possibly need to make your stay perfect. This will be the ONLY place we stay at for all our future Big Bear Vacations...(I hope they are not booked on those days) We had a party of 9 and it fit perfect, the loft was great to keep the kids entertained when we weren't out and about. The kitchen had plenty of room for our big family meals and that jacuzzi tub was FANTASTIC!!! We couldn't have asked for a more perfect vacation rental. The owner was more than accomadating and very pleasant to do business with. You can see the pride of ownership the minute you walk in the door, the warmth and coziness of the cabin really makes you feel at home. I highly recommend you stay here for your vacation, just don't book the days i need it!! Book "The Holiday Cabin for your next vacation you won't regret a second of it.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It's cozy, beautifully decorated and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's close to the Lake and all the fun activity spots. Our families had so much fun and plan to stay again and again! Thank You Joe and Carol for sharing your lovely cabin!

I almost don't want to tell you how great this place is. I want to keep the secret to myself so I can return to this cabin whenever I want. I don't want everyone to know about its comfortable atmosphere, the relaxing couches and beds, the soft towels, the huge master bath, etc. I don't want people to know how accommodating the owner is and how nice he is. I don't want to you to stay here, because I want to stay here, again and again and again. But I guess the secret is out. This place is the best. Me and my big fat mouth.

We visited Big Bear with our two young boys and this was a great place to stay. The cabin is extremely clean and in brand-new condition - just as shown in the pictures. There was more than enough room for the entire family and the cabin is well-stocked. Looking forward to coming back.

I want to begin by saying that I'm sorry for the late response. We had a 3 day weekend get-away with my brother-in-law and his family. This cabin literally has it all. It has all the amenities that your own house would have, if not more. It is extremely clean and well taken care of. It's perfect for 2 families that have children within all age groups. The kids really enjoyed their stay. They never complained about being bored because it was full of movies and games. They were kept busy all weekend. We definitely will be coming back on our next trip to Big Bear. I highly recommend this cabin to anybody. You will not regret your choice! Also, thank you Joe for all your kind help and the lovely gifts. Amazing place!!!

The property was adorable and quaint. The cabin were extremely accommodating with almost everything that we could possibly need as well as leaving us a few gifts. I was very, very impressed. The owners even gave us a packet with information on great places to eat and spend time so that was extremely helpful. I would recommend to this cabin to anyone!

We stayed from Jan. 26-29. I pretty much fell in love with the cabin from the photos that I saw online. I was hoping that it would live up to my expectations. The moment we opened the door and stepped into it, we were not disappointed. It was quite cozy and had the perfect family feel we were looking for. My children were so excited and loved "thier" room with the hide out. We were so taken with it that we felt like kids ourselves. We only stayed 3 nights and when it was time to leave we did not want to go. We definitely will be back next year and want to make this our annual trip to the Holiday Cabin! I have already recommended this cabin to a few other friends.

Beautiful Cabin

It was our first time renting a cabin in Big Bear. On the drive up we started to get scared looking at all the other cabins. But the Holiday Cabin did not disappoint us. Upon walking it smelled like a brand new cabin. The cabin is decorated with so much detail its like you are in a home catalog. Everyone took a turn using the spa tub it was so relaxing. The kids really enjoyed the 3D t.v. The best part was that all the stores were just a few minutes away so we had Starbucks in the mornings and rented movies from blockbuster. We played board games in the living room with the fire going. Our stay was so nice it did not snow but we took the kids to the snow-play so they were able to experience that. It was hard to leave after our stay but definitely we will return to the Holiday Cabin!

This cabin was darling. It was perfect for our two families and all the little details made it extra special. The 'hideaways' in the kids room was especially sweet, our kids had a blast with those. The house was very clean, very organized and we had everything we needed. The owner was so flexible and wonderful to work with. All the ingredients for a wonderful, relaxing weekend away. Thank you!

We stayed at the "Holiday Cabin" for 5 nights from 1/3/12 through 1/9/12 and could not have been more pleased. The moment we unlocked the front door this beautiful home beckons you in with warmth and cleanliness. This cabin is so tastfully decorated and with such care, that you immediately feel relaxed and so happy that you discovered such a wonderful place. My family of four (2 adults, 2 adult kids) stayed with intermittent friends joining us for a night here and there. Some evenings there were 7 of us in all, and this cabin has more than enough room and sleeping accomodations for everyone to be comfortable. We enjoyed our skiing and boarding in the day, and played games and watched movies at night. Amazing family fellowship within the confines of this lovely cabin created memories for a lifetime. We are already planning our return. Thank you Joe for being such an accomodating host in your beautiful cabin and with a lovely welcome gift on the dining room table when we arrived. It appears you thought of everything Joe. Thank you to your and your family.

We have been at Big Bear before, but this is by far the nicest cabin we have stayed at. Everything is new, from furniture to appliances, linens, etc. The cabin feels so warmth and cozy, is the perfect place to spend the holidays, no questions why it is called the Holiday Cabin. Dealing with the owner was so easy, they provide all the information you need when at Big Bear. We couldn't believe the thank you note, bottle of wine, coffee&tea left at the dining table as a welcome to the cabin!!. If planning a vacation at Big Bear, this is the place you are looking for! Tks Joe!!

We are so happy to have found this awesome cabin. It is so clean and beautiful, and has all the amenities of home. Our family stay consisted of four adults and five children/teenagers who all were very comfortable the whole stay. We highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking to visit the Big Bear area. The oweners are a pleasure to work with and made the arrangements very easy and stress free. We are already looking for additional dates this year to go back. Enjoy!

Our family is so glad to have found this gem of a cabin! It was very cozy, cute, clean and tidy, with all the amenities we needed. The beds were also VERY comfortable which is rare in vacation homes/hotels. We wished we could have stayed longer, but are planning on coming back soon! We will most def. be staying at this home if it is available. I would recommend it to anyone. Also the owners were very quick to respond to my emails and reservation request.

Could not have asked for a better place to stay. We use VRBO quite a bit and we often run into oversold under delivered properties that leave a lot to be desired. This property delivered in every way! Modern amenities mixed with a cabin feel made our trip both comfortable and relaxing. We will look no further than this property on our next trip to Big Bear.

My family and I have been going to bigbear for the last few years and this has been the best cabin by far. The cabin was well fitted for our kids with games and movies. We will definitely rent this cabin again next winter. Thank you again.

This is closest to a dream cabin that you can get on the Big Bear Mnt. I was really lucky enough to find this cabin over VBRO. One thing that you can't experience form the pictures is smell of a brand new cabin. Owners are really professional and honest. It is not the cheapest cabin out there but if it was mine I would charge much more. One thing I know for certain is my next trip to B.B will depend on this cabin's availability !
