We could not have been happier with this house. The location from the fountain was exceptional. We walked the mile around the fountain every morning. If you like dogs, you'll love this house! It is very pet friendly. We never even used the well-appointed living room because we were always sitting out back on the patio with the beautiful view by the wonderful pool. The beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchen was well-stocked. We used the hot tub everyday. Sabine, the owner, was a delight to deal with and will remain my friend forever. Don't forget to try the Italian restaurant within walking distance across from the fountain. We sat outside at night on the lighted patio with a live band playing, watching the fountain and the water park directly in front of us. I would definitely recommend this house. We plan to return several more times. Please trust this review, I am a very, very, picky person and could not find anything wrong with this vacation home.Did you find this review helpful? This home away from home was just as advertised and then some! The views are spectacular, especially at sunrise. Clean, comfortable, cozy and quiet describes this place best. Meticulous desert landscaping in front & back with a pool area and backyard that offers the feeling of a resort. The owners were very responsive and made the rental process extremely easy. I will be a returning customer! Plenty of attractions nearby with a short and scenic drive into Scottsdale. I will recommend this home highly to friends & family.Did you find this review helpful? This was the first time we had ever done this so we were nervous about what to expect. When we first arrived at the ranch, we immediately felt welcomed and at home. We found the ranch to be very clean, cozy, and amazingly quiet. We never heard or saw any of the neighbors except for Gregg who was friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable and the master bedroom was really spacious. We spent pretty much every waking hour on the patio or pool area so we really enjoyed the outside speakers for the stereo as we listened to music all day and evening. Dinners on the patio were especially nice. Everyone in the Fountain Hills area was so friendly also. What a lovely experience for our first time! Can't wait to do it again! Thanks Sabine for everything. You were wonderful to work with.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 5/5

My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was cozy and comfortable. Everything was very clean. The outdoor area was especially nice. We enjoyed the sunsets and sunrises as we sat by the pool or on the patio. The dogs loved the grass area and spent a lot of time sniffing around. We would recommend this property to anyone and hope to stay again soon.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 3/3

Our stay at El Pueblo Ranch was most enjoyable. Sabine and Guenter made sure from the get go, that everything was in order. The house was sparkling clean and we had everything that we needed right there. We felt at home immediately. After our long drive from Canada, we just enjoyed a few days around the pool, relaxing and enjoying the beautiful scenery. Fountain Hills itself is worth a trip, the whole town is well looked after, the Fountain Park is spectacular, the food at the the Italian restaurant just opposite the park was delicious and people were very friendly. All in all, we loved it and we would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you very much again Nick, Barbara, Colin, Ann from VancouverDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

Had a great vacation for 2 weeks at El Pueblo Ranch. We are a family with one child (three) and it was perfect as our base for exploring Scottsdale and Phoenix. Quiet terrace for evening meals, pool (unheated) and hot tub. The layout was great for us as the two bedrooms are separated by the living area. The pictures are a very accurate reflection of the property. We had a great time and would return if vacationing in the area.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children.

This was our first time renting a home so we were a little leary but our fears were dispelled as we found this to be a wonderful experience and more than we had hoped for. From the first time I was contacted by the owner I knew this would be a positive choice. They were so helpful both on the phone & e-mails giving thorough directions to get to the property and everything about their home we needed to know as well as close shopping and sights to see. Since we arrived in the dark we had a difficult time finding the home within a few blocks. We had been given a neighbors phone number & he directed us right to the door. Walking in the front door we knew we were "home". It was so comforable - just as explained in the listing. We awoke early due to time change and were greeted by the most wonderful view both out of the large dining room window and out on the patio by the pool. The view of the mountains was phenomenal. As the day went on we were thrilled by the hummingbirds in the feeder, the doves cooing all day and all of the birds singing. It was so peaceful there. The landscaping was beautiful all around the house. El Pueblo Ranch is within so much to see from the close Fountain in Fountain Park to just 2 hours from Sedona. We have & would recommend this property to everyone. It is truly a Home away from Home.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
Owner response: We are honored to have beautiful people like you staying in our home. You are always welcome to stay again at "El Pueblo Ranch".

I am very sad to write this review, I have never written a negative review in my 55 years. The property location and views were amazing! The home had everything we needed, it was well stocked and lacked nothing. We agreed on a price directly with the owners. When we got there, the hot tub heater was not working. We have stayed in Arizona several times and knew that hot tub heat was a must and confirmed with the owners that it was heated before we rented it. I would not have stayed there if the hot tub was not heated! We contacted the spa repair man on the provided list at the rental home and he told us it was not working for a month before we came! We had several repair men (sent by the owners) come to look at it during our stay to "price" it. The hot tub heat was not working for 9 days of our stay. That was most of our vacation!! We had some friends stay with us for 5 days while touring the rest of Arizona. We left the house in good condition. We washed the towels, bedding etc. We washed the kitchen floor and left everything in good order. We called the property manager and asked him to do a walk through and make sure everything was ok. He did this. The owners will not return our deposit despite several requests to them because we had company stay over. I have rented properties for many years and have never had this happen. It has left a very bad taste. We liked the view and location so much, we had hoped to stay there again in Sept, despite the challenges and let the owner know this. It is a nice property. Now I definitly wont :(Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Follow up note from Property Management Staff: Issues leading to breach of contract resulting in negative review from the tenant: 1. tenant contracted for two adults for the stay, with four adults actually checking in, verified by property manager 2. tenant had negotiated substantial discounts and free additional services, including free spa heating (during winter months!), based on false information 3. Operation and condition of Services are verified by pool and management staffs, in discovery of home services the tenants were not following instructions for safe operation of spa, causing depletion of entire propane tank, and may have caused damage to heating unit! 4. Tenants (4) were observed using spa daily in good working order 5. Tenants did not tour home with property management prior to their departure. Home cleaning professional services advised that tenants left home NOT in good condition. Our recommendation is to never rent to these tenants again, and possibility to seek recovery of damages. Follow up note from owners: Joanne even wrote insulting mails because we could not refund the security deposit for breach of contract and causing substantial repair cost, and threatened us to post a negative review. Just make your own mind when reading the other reviews.

We enjoyed staying at this home very much. We really enjoyed the back yard and covered patio with great views. We ate most of our meals, morning and night, outside on the patio. The house is in a great location in Fountain Hills. The owners were great to work with and very concerned that we enjoyed ourselves and that we did not have any complaints. The property was not real fancy or super deluxe, but was very adequate for our month's stay, the beds were very comfortable. We will definitely consider staying there again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+.
