Rocky Mountain 2 is very accomodating for large families. There are lots of comfortable common areas for congregation including the kitchen, living room/ wet bar, and rec room/ hot tub area. The beds are nice with feel good linens and the towels are soft. Upon arrival to Sunriver, when we entered the North entrance at Cottonwood we missed the first turn, because Imnaha is not marked. Once we walked inside and saw the grand fireplace all decorated for Christmas, it was a very cozy feeling. I was very grateful for all the chopped wood in the garage. The hot tub was awesome- roomy and clean with an easy lift cover and the fuseball table was well played. The dishes and all other kitchen amenities are tip=top. I would stay here again with friends or family.

We arrived and the tree was up and decorated as well as the house. The kids just loved the special attention by the owners. Everything was perfect and Sunvriver is so much nicer then ever before with the new pool, sleading and more.

Good day guest. We just completed a good deal of painting in the 4 bathrooms, bunk room, halls and more. We updated a number of items in the kitchen, added another flat screen tv in the upstairs bedroom and took out a single bed replacing it with another queen for more room and confort. We are all ready for another fantastic snow/ski season so check out our guest comments and do book fast as our home does bookout fast.

This rental house actually far exceeded our expectations. We filled every bed and still didn't feel cramped. The beds were AMAZING!!! I've never slept so well away from home. It was clean and located perfectly for access to any and everything Sun River has to offer and yet still afforded us a amazing sense of privacy. Additionally, the owners were quick to respond whenever we had questions and provided us with great information on the area. I will rent this property again in the future.

Might be a good place to stay in Winter

Very Disappointed the home did not have "central Air Conditioning", the fans (in need of cleaning) were on when we arrived. Carpeting needs to be replaced, as steam cleaning would be a waste, a good hardwood flooring would be a wise choice. Kitchen is well appointed with amenities, however could use a shade over the sink-window as unbearably hot to work at, in that area at dinner time. Bath window in downstairs mast. bedroom is in need of a "workable" lock. In that same bedroom, the king bed needs a new matress set as areas quite sunken. Owner may want to check sanitation-pick-up dates, as the 2 cans were quite full on our Sunday arrival, the Wednesday crew was there at 8:00 a.m., on our departure of August 25th, not picked up by 9:30 a.m. We own a VRBO in Florida and always return the guests' deposit immediately after cleaning (same day of their departure), so as the guest recieves their deposit, usually within the week of their departure.

Owner response: Sorry they weren't 100% happy. The mattress was new this year can't get better then that, the fans were just checked again and a big of normal dust, the A/C, well the home states it doesn't have one, can't fix that. The complete first floor is hardwood and tile. The upstairs with 4 bedrooms and landing has excellent burber carpet that never seems to wear, the biggest issue is having to clean them a lot in the summer due to all the kids and dirt that is brought up there. We had a note stating let us have 4 hours so we could have them cleaned but they didn't want us to complete. Sorry you weren't 100% but we are always updating, replacing, and fixing items needed. Now with summers end we can go in and paint again and replace items that just didn't last the summer. Jeff Brugato owner

Sunriver group vacation

We had four families stay and had a great time with the pool passes and hot tub on site. None of the dvd players in the house worked and that was a bummer. The modem was hooked up incorrectly and it took us awhile to figure that out and fix it. Other then that the house was great. Clean with extra bedding. Close to the store. Lots of bikes. I think the description listed a kids trailer as being available to use with the bikes but there was only a ride along to be used for an older child. There are no trailers or baby seats for little ones. we used the ride along and it worked fine. The pool was fun but our children were too little for the water slides. I think it was a 48 inch height requirement and all of our kids are preschool size. we'll have to try again next year. Overall, it was lots of fun! Would go back for sure.

Super Sunriver trip

First the process of booking the house was nice and simple. The owners took time to answer several questions. Our trip was with two other families. We have stayed at several other Sunriver house over the course of the years, but this is one one we have all voted on to use for future trip. The house fit perfectly for three families with mostly teen girls and one 7 year old boy. The layout was great and fit everyone's needs. House had great features with the bikes and pool passes. Kitchen and BBQ worked great for all our meals. WE will be back next year for sure!!

Wonderful location! Bikes were fun to take and go explore! The pool passes were a HUGE hit with the new pool area complete with waterslides and a lazy river. The hot tub was a daily treat. The Village area was fun with shops and great places to eat. The north end location is great, with a grocery store just a short walk away. Lava tubes at the National Park were worthwhile. We would be happy to stay here again! Thanks for a FUN memory!

Just returned from a week at this property and can't say enough good things about our experience! House was PERFECT for our family with multiple generations. Great for kids of all ages and location was ideal to North Store and the new SHARQ facility. The 10 passes to the SHARQ were a HUGE plus and savings! I plan to bring my family back and make this our annual destination vacation!

This home is great! We spent Spring Break 2012 there with 2 families and 4 children under the age of 4 and had plenty of space and everything we could ask for! The home is very clean and offers a lot to do for children and adults alike. Jeff was great! He was very helpful and got back to us with and questions immediately. I would definatly recommend this home to anyone looking to get away and have fun either hanging out enjoying each others company at the house, or going out and experiencing all Bend has to offer!!!

Nice place!

This was a great place for our three family group. The pictures pretty much reflect the rental's appearance and amenities. There is one queen size room that has an ajoining room with twin beds. The only way in and out of that room is through the queen size room, which works well for a family with small children. Jeff, the owner, was very helpful in answering questions. The hot tub was fabulous! The dining area fit our group of 13 perfectly. The grocery store in downtown Sunriver was reasonable and well stocked. That was a nice surprise!

The owner Jeff was very easy to work with and the house was great for our party of 11! TV in every room, spacious dining area, and a great hot tub!!! Bikes were available but did not use this visit, looking forward to the next one! =) The kids enjoyed the games that were available and the foosball table. WOW!!! What a super family time..... While we did not get our white Christmas this year, Jeff & Kerrie went totally out of their way to make it one of the best ever. The house was totally decked out in it's Christmas attire when we arrived. Had relatives from at 3 other homes but this was the main gathering house for 34 people, "Tons of Space"........ Giant hot tub-foosball table-lots of bikes for the kids. Grand kids had plenty of room for cousins to sleepover. Communication was great with owner. Business dealings went super smooth. I would highly recommend this house & especially the care & attention to detail of its owners.

Nice time, Aug 2011

Several of our adult family members stayed in this home in August for a family reunion of sorts. Everyone enjoyed this nice home and the floor plan worked very well for our group. Some of the most enjoyable features of the home were; the huge dining table for meals, games, and visiting, the deck area, and spaciousness. The pool passes were a great bonus! We have rented other places with hot tubs and this one had the cleanest water by far. It seemed to be maintained regularly. There were lots of tvs and bathrooms for all of us and plenty of elbow room. There were a few things in the home that are getting a little worn with time and use, for instance the window screens. The bikes worked, but with a few odd rattles and handlebars that we needed to tighten (which we did). If there is anything I would suggest for improvement, it would be to restock the kitchen a bit. We had most of what we needed (except for a wine opener), but could have used more casual drinking glasses and a tad heavier duty cookware. It’s worth noting that one of the rooms is really meant for kids, it’s only accessible by going through one of the other bedrooms. It was a little strange for us, since we had a bunch of couples staying there, but we made it work. This was a nice home and we would stay again. Jeff, the owner of this property was very accommodating in working with us and responsive to any feedback I provided. He seems to genuinely want his guests to enjoy their stay. Thanks for all!

Owner response: Thanks for your comments and we are glad your family had a great time. End of summer is always the time to get those items replaced and fixed after many uses. The bike are repaired and replaced as needed each winter and the kitchen will be stocked with new items to replace those that have been misplaced. New gas jenn-air stove already purchased and being installed, an upgrade from the electric stove. All the screens being removed and repaired also this winter. These are all normal things having to be completed a few times year.

The House Was Perfect

Finding a comfortable vacation home for 10 people isn't easy and this one was perfect. Although we didn't spend a ton of time in the house, the time spent was great. From cycling to swimming to hiking to golfing... Sunriver is a splendid place to spend quality time with friends. The weather was perfect and we could not have asked for anything better. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and dining. It was so nice to have coffee on the deck each morning and watch the deer nibble on breakfast and walk past the house. Very peaceful. Thank you!

We had a great Thanksgiving weekend stay at the Brugato's house. There was plenty of room for 9 of us, with lots of room to spare. The family room was spacious and comfortable, and the surrounding outdoor area was great for the kids. Kids had fun with foosball, and loved the bunkbed room as well as their back private twin bedroom. The large fenced deck area would be great in the summertime! Thanks for the fun stay!

My family stayed at Jeff and Kerrie's home over Christmas 2009. It was wonderful! We had 15 people in our party and the home fit us very well. The home is in a great location very safe for kids to play, open forest area across the street. They had a blast in the snow and ice! The bikes were wonderful. The mountian is a short drive away. Our combined families appreciated the preparations and integrity of the owner throughout the rental process. Deposits were promptly returned. We really spent more time outside than in so when night time came the house was more than comfortable for 13. Everything we needed was available in the house for meal preparation and a faulty coffee pot replaced with one phone call.

After 8 years we got our first negitive comment. Guest were upset we held back 20% of damage deposit. Per our cleaning service they had to bring in extra help fast to clean up the kitchen for the next guess. In our cleaning service words "The kitchen was just trashed: As we caution on our web site; "treat our house like you would want yours treated" Of course they were not happy with the holdback.

My co-workers & I had a great time celebrating my BD over a 4 day weekend. The house is very comfortable with good allocation of space for everyone. We loved the hot tub & the wonderful fireplace. The snow in Sun River was beautiful & we never had to leave the area to find great X-country skiing!

Our family enjoyed our stay at the Rocky Mountain home. The decor is pleasing, the furniture is comfortable, the location is perfect, there are plenty of bikes, plus a trailer, a stroller, and an attachment for a small rider. We did pool, golf, and bike rides, plus a river float and a day at Twin Lakes. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at SunRiver. Thanks Jeff and family for the use oif your home.

My co-workers and I enjoyed our trip to Sunriver and your home. Your home had a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. We had a little confusion with the wireless connection (had to be re-set) and never quite figured out the remotes to the TV and DVD player (a little info sheet with labled remotes would be a big help). Still, a very good time.

Just updated more items in the kitchen, new dishwasher, and some new electric items and completed a lot of heavy cleaning. New Hardwood floors to be installed first week of December on the main floor. Went to open house at Mt Batchlor, had a foot of snow already and the lodge is having a complete makeover. Its going to be a great Snow year. Enjoy our home as we enjoy it.

The Brugato home was perfect for our families. We had a wonderful time and felt totally at home. Everything was provided and was comfotable and cozy. The hot tub was an added feature as was the membership to the athletic club. It is conveniently located and in walking distance to everything. I highly recommend this home to others and we plan to return for another family vacation. Beds were very comfortable, the home stayed warm and cozy, the dining area seats many, the kitchen is very workable, the garage is a nice size, and we couldn't have been more pleased. Thanks to the Brugato's for thinking of all the needs of their guests.

We stayed in the house the first weekend in October. We had a large group-8 adults and 2 kids. The layout was great and pretty sound proof for the early wakers vs. late wakers. The living room is really comfortable and we watched several movies, and played games in the area. Having bikes there was great-be careful w/the baby trailer. Sunray management was helpful. All the neccessities are in this house-especially great for families! Thanks.

We had a smaller group- 5 adults and one 6 month old, but enjoyed the roomy house and amenities. The deck was very enjoyable - ate outside a couple of times (wrapped up in coats and blankets as it wasn't all that warm!) BBq worked good, as well as the hot tub. It was nice having plenty of bathrooms...no standing in line! The 1.5 mile walk to the Mall was very nice - weather was perfect for that - not too hot, not too cold. We all had a good time and enjoyed the house. I would suggest leaving one of those Sunriver maps for the new/next person - I could have used it on my first walk as all I had was a portion of the map I printed off the Internet to find the house. Thanks for the access to Internet and catching up with email also! That was great. Hope we can stay there again sometime. Pat, Nan, Jim, LaRae, Fred, Kira

This house was amazing! There were 10 of us vacationing in Sunriver for 4 nights. The house had everything we needed, fit everyone more than comfortably and felt like home. The location was perfect, close to the mountain, shopping, etc. If you are looking, this house is a great get away home!

Just spent a great 4 days end of October 2004. It snowed. Just put in new sectional with hidabed, recliner and lounge. A great place to relax. New drapes being installed next week on 4 patio doors and some windows. Replaced a lot of glasses in the wet bar, and new dishes. Everything working perfect, and the home is in great condition. Also added another cord of wood for the fireplace. Please enjoy our home, and email me for any last minute specials. Better to rent at a low price then not at all....

this is a great house for families and big groups of people. there is plenty of sleeping space and tons of room. the foosball table is lots of fun for kids.

We had a wonderful time in Sun River. The house was delightful with only a few things to note. It must be difficult to manage a rental from so far away! We couldn't use the DVD player in the living room. It ate our first DVD and wouldn't give it up. Bryan is a computer & electronic tech and managed to remove it after awhile but we used our own after that. [We didn't expect to even find a DVD player as your description on the website only mentioned VHS player]. A good investment would be a new coffeemaker with an automatic turn-off and a light that indicates the coffee is still on. The one you have now has no light and does not turn itself off. The warming function stays on until you remember to turn it off manually. This resulted in some pretty fudgy coffee a couple of times. However we worried more about a broken carafe or worse. Everything was clean but the carpets. They could have used a quick shampoo before we arrived, and of course only looked worse when we left. The cleaners bunched all the remotes for all the TVs in one place. That's a fun game. The lovely hot tub was enjoyed every day by all of us, but Especially appreciated by the kayakers and cyclists at the day's end. The 3 teen-agers attended the local dance on 2 evenings and had a good time. It was well chaperoned. The 8 year olds picked flowers from your "forest". We went to the Firemen's Picnic on the 4th of July, shopped at the $12.99 store, ate ice cream and got the local gossip at the ice cream shop and didn't catch any fish. And last but not least, we did as you commanded, and ate dinner at the TROUT HOUSE. As promised it was wonderful. We would recommend this house to anyone who wants a warm and friendly place to spend family time. Thanks. We have been staying in this home for 5 years. It is always very clean and in great shape with updated improvements every year. Great new hot tub. Thanks again for another fantastic family get together..
