We are on the corner of Sandyland Road and Ash Ave, just across the street from the Worlds Safest Beach, Carpinteria Salt Marsh Nature Park ,and a convenient location for the Kayaking and Surfboard rentals, and if you want to catch the Seaside Shuttle into town.
Our unit is just 'completely remodeled' so when you walk in the front door you feel like you are walking into a warm Beach Island retreat. It is a Beautiful 1 bedroom condo in quiet complex- Pergo floors, 42' Plasma T.V. with DVD player. A beautiful queen sofa sleeper. and a dinning room table that seats 4. The Kitchen is fully equipped. The Bedroom has a New cozy comforter, Queen Bed, where you fall asleep to the sound of the waves, a large closet with 5 beach chairs for your enjoyment at the beach, with a full size dresser and night stands. The bathroom has a shower and bathtub. Then out to the patio to sit and look at the stunning moutains, beautiful sunsets or just relax and have a glass of wine or a cold one:) It has a comfortable patio set that seats 4 with an umbrella , along with a gas Barbeque,2 Boogie boards and a Bike. All this just across from The Safest Beach in the World. With Lifeguards on duty Memorial Day thru Labor day! Where you can go play on the beach, Boogie Boarding, Body Surfing, Kayaks and Surfboards are available for rental,Swimming, Sunbathing, or just relax and read a book. The complex has his and her bathroom with showers. There is 2 Pools one for kids , along with a Jacuzzi. The complex has a laundry room with 3 washers and dryers that requrie change to use.There is easy access parking and also gated,covered parking. Once you park you don't need to move your car.The adventure is yours to enjoy!!!

This was our 2nd stay at this beautiful beach condo and it felt like home. We love the new deck and bar with views of the ocean and salt marsh across the street. Owners are wonderful to work with and we plan to return again next summer. Truly a home away from home.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, tourists without a car.

I've spent much of my life exploring the CA coast and this location is perfect for a relaxing beach vacation. The condo is small but charming. Same as the town. The beach is nice and the water is mellow. No surfing here but it's a short drive to good spots. The only complaint I have is that you can can hear the people moving around in the unit above. When I arrived 9/1/12, I opened the door to the most inviting beach condo @ Solimar Sands. It is true you are just steps from the beach. The place was clean, stocked with some kitchen supplies and decorated beautifully. My 30 days @ the condo were fun, carefree and I felt very safe. You see the Sheriff's driving on Sandyland almost daily. The use of the bikes and the availability of the flat screen were added pluses. I had a luncheon on the patio with 6 friends and we all fit comfortably. My landlord was accommodating and helpful when I met a small problem with the stove. I would truly recommend this beach condo to anyone wanting a fabulous experience of living @ the beach and hearing the waves from your bedroom window. I walked on the beach almost daily and went into the surf a few times. The town of Carpinteria has all amenities and is only 12 miles from Santa Barbara. I also took advantage of the driving range on Carpinteria Avenue about 10 minutes from the condo. I say take the "dip" into beach living. :-)Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

This condo is the perfect location, has beautiful decor, and we plan to return as often as possible. My husband and I could walk to beach, enjoy walking trails at marsh across the street and walk into town for shopping and meals. We love visting family in Carpenteria and enjoy this wonderful beach town. The owners made it easy to coordinate our stay and we look forward to returning. Carpinteria is s a quaint little town,with warm people ,and everything is in walking distace, the beach is just across the street ,where I like to run on the beach, look for Sea Shells,and Sea life, I myself have seen Whales,Dolphins,Sea Loins, and Seals. Then in the afternoon I soak up the sun,and in the evening walk to town and grab dinner and a drink. Now i am in my happy place:) I feel like I can let go of my busy life style and realx and enjoy!
