  What's not to like at this beautiful well cared for oceanfront beach house. It is very clean, organized and has a heated outdoor pool (extra) plus the beach. Sheets are included so less to pack. There are starter rolls of toilet tissue and paper towels along with saran wrap, reynolds wrap, wax paper, salt and pepper and spices. Plenty of dishes, glasses, bowls, and pots and pans. We cooked a seafood dinner with shrimp and scallops. Near the bridge leading to Holden Beach we ate "shrimp burgers" at the Provision Co. We stayed the week of March 30 thru April 6, 2013. We all enjoyed the pool especialy the grandchildren. A special thanks to island representative Kim for her help when needed.

  This was our 2nd time staying! The house has so much to offer! The house has so many extras that you do not find in most rental houses. It now has a pool. The owners are wonderful to work with. I can not believe we have been using a realty company for all of the years we have been coming to Holden Beach. I would much rather work with the owners than the realty company any day! You will love this house!

  Thank you for sharing your wonderful beach house with our family again in 2012.Looking in the guest book, i saw our comments from 2003 and i have to say we have enjoyed the home every time we have stayed there..pretty much every year since-except when we booked late one year and stayed in the equally nice "Kindred Spirits" next door. What we enjoy about this house: Location- steps to the fishing pier and convenient to the bridge,walking next door for groceries,newspaper, and the ice cream shop! Layout- The BR with king bed on the upper level provides privacy and spatial seperation for multi-generational visitors.The home is light and bright and the well equipped kitchen and large eating area make family dining easy. The upper and lower porches with rocking chairs provide a peaceful view of the sea. The spacious BRS on the other level,all with their own TV's prevent anyone from wrestling for the main TV remote. The kids really enjoy the outdoor shower. Equipment- every year it seems there is something new, unlike some of the dated,tired,dark panelled beach homes we stayed in before CHANGES was built. The kitchen truly has everything you need for cooking,etc.We really appreciate the owners attention to detail, as the home is ALWAYS in tip top shape! We will be back next summer for sure-and maybe even sneak in an off season trip next spring if we can!

  Our family enjoyed a great long weekend at Changes in Latitude. All of the amenities and information provided by the owner made this an incredibly easy experience. The house is conveniently located one house away from the general store. The ice cream shop is just beyond the general store, which made for a great excursion with our 2 1/2 year old granddaughter. The house was immaculately clean when we arrived. The access to the beach could not have been easier and even though it was a holiday weekend, we felt that we had our own private beach area. The house was very child friendly We look forward to returning and to enjoying the new pool.

  Our family is a military family so it is difficult for us all to get together but this year we were able to meet up at the Change of Latitude. One son and his family came from Little Rock, Arkansas and one son and his family came from New Hampshire by way of a little stay in Afghanistan. The children loved the beach toys and the downstairs bedrooms where they could run and play and surprisingly not be heard upstairs. The tv's came in so handy for their movie. The kitchen was equipped for a family of ten. We will surely not hesitate to stay in this home. A wonderful family reunion . Thank you.

  This was my family's first vacation at Holden Beach and we couldn't have picked a better house. When we plan a beach vacation it's all about location, location, location BUT this house has the location and LOTS more!!! The owners have made sure that everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) you might need for your vacation is included in the house!!! From beach chairs to kitchen spices, they have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. The pictures shown are accurate but the house is so much better in person. It is immaculately neat and clean and the labeling every where was a huge help. The house is well equipped to have anyone from the ages of newborn to 100! We had 4 teenagers and they had a great time! The pier, ice cream shop and general store are all within a very short walking distance. We are so in love with Changes in Latitude we will be back many many times. Thank you so much for opening your home to us!

  Everything about this home was excellent! The pictures were accurate, the home was extremely clean, and it was perfect for our family of two young boys. We felt like we were at home! The owner was extremely helpful in answering all of our questions and emails. I was amazed at everything that was available in the home (kitchen gadgets, baby items, and beach toys/chairs). It made traveling so much easier knowing that those items were already there. We were lucky to find such a beautiful beach home for our first time in Holden Beach. We will be back to this family friendly beach.

  Well, this was my first rental using vrbo.com. Needless to say, I was nervous about it. But, in all ways, everything worked out perfectly for us. I have rented on Holden Beach for 15 years now and this was my first stay in this home. I will definitely use this home again. So many extras are provided... from dish and laundry detergent to saran wrap, foil, and baggies to beach chairs, toys and umbrellas to a fully stocked kitchen for every meal need. Also, hair dryers and magnified mirrors in the bathrooms! Even baby needs like a high chair, pack and play, booster seat and a baby gate. Never have I stayed in a beach home at Holden that provided so much. The location is great...an oceanfront with just a few steps to the pier and to an ice cream shop (which I visited too often!). The owner was a joy to email and talk with...very helpful and quick to get back with me on my questions. She spent extra time working through the details with us as it was a last minute reservation with odd dates. This owner knows how to provide you with everything you could possibly need to enjoy a very blessed vacation. Thanks so much to the owners! I very much loved this week!

  We loved this beach property!! It was above and beyond our expectations. The owners were so accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. The kitchen was equipped with all that you would need to prepare a gourmet meal. It is light and airy with beautiful views of the ocean and immaculate. Very roomy with great beds!! Loved It!!

  This house is perfect for a big group. Location is key! It's close to the pier and to a small store with anything you forgot to bring. Being oceanfront was so convenient! House was very clean and beautifully decorated. The common areas were great for family style dinners and the porches are great for breakfast/coffee. Well stocked kitchen with plenty of dishes/silverware for a large group. I HIGHLY recommend it for families with small children/girls weekends etc. We will definitely be back!!!
