Jefferson City cottage description
Relax and unwind in a small cozy cottage just steps away from Cherokee Lake. Enjoy the beautiful lake-mountain view while rocking on the front deck beneath the old Oak trees - no kidding! If you prefer a little activity, take a canoe trip down the lake or bait a hook and try your luck from the dock. Inside you will find a living-dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, sun room, and full bath with shower. A bedroom and half-bath are located upstairs. There is a outdoor fire pit to chase away the evening chill (or roast a hotdog or two) and a flat screen TV if you must. Perfect for individuals or couples celebrating a special occasion or who are looking for a quiet getaway in a serene setting.
This is a no smoking property.

So quiet and peaceful!Guest comment entered by owner
So quiet and peaceful!
We stayed a month and loved every minute of it, so quiet and peaceful. The cottage is so beautiful, nice to be surrounded by such beauty-inside and out! My greatest memory will be an eagle flying about two feet away from the sunroom window. How great is that?

Charming cottage and hosts
Charming cottage and hosts
This quaint, cute cottage is the perfect place for one or two. Although you have to get to the cottage via a walkway around the owner's house the area of the lake the cottage is located on is private. The floating dock and canoe are great ways to spend time soaking in the beauty of Cherokee Lake. The outdoor woodburning stove is a perfect place to relax and chase away the eveing chill. Inside, the cottage is small but well designed. My favorite place to relax was in the sunroom, that has windows overlooking the lake, with a good book! The hosts are a wonderful retired couple that display true southern hospitality. (And just in case you forget an item or need groceries Wal-mart is only 10 min away.)
