We enjoyed being away from the city in your home. The setting was restful and quiet and the neighbors were wonderful in helping us find our way there by water from the marina. The accommodations were beyond our expectations and the design of your home is comparable to what we would like for retirement in years to come. Our children got a kick out of seeing the goose in the boathouse hatch her chicks.Recommended for: Families with young children.

This is a charming cabin. I went there by myself to work and it was the perfect place for one (or two). It is a lovely, relatively quiet, location and the view of the water was quite calming. The house is comfortable and up-to-date. The floor plan is open with a nice galley kitchen and a comfortable den area. Two of the three bedrooms are small and share a bath. The master suite is large w/ en suite bath, a great view of the lake (and owners' dock) and a deck off to the side. The only problem with the bedrooms was the mattresses. I felt a bit like Goldilocks - the master bed was incredibly hard, the front bedroom (twin) was soft and felt odd, the middle bedrooms (full) was far from "just right" but it was remotely comfortable so that is where I slept the 2nd night. Since I was only there two nights and I wasn't there to relax and sleep late (although it would have been great), I dealt with the bed situation. (Had I stayed another night I would have slept in the recliner.) I had a small problem with the TV. The listing agent and the owner were prompt with assistance. The really good news was, even though there was a terrible storm that lasted almost the weekend, I never lost power, TV or internet connection. The yard is very nice and the dock is easily accessible.Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway.
Owner response: Hi Aimee, We're so sorry the beds weren't to your liking. We always strive to have a variety of bedding that suits our guest's tastes and needs. You are the first to have noted any sort of issue. In fact, two of the beds' matresses are new (just within the past year), but we may look to include a memory foam insert in case future guests prefer more cushion for the firmer matress. Thanks for your comments and please take care!

We enjoyed this house so much. It was perfect for the group that we traveled with and everyone was pleased. This was one of the easiest rentals I have ever booked. Payment was easy and security deposit returned in timely manner. All questions were answered immediately. We hope to come back when the weather gets a little warmer. Thanks for sharing your home!Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway.

My family went to stay at this beautiful cabin over the Thanksgiving holiday. It was even better than described. It was clean and in a beautiful location. The cabin was well stocked with everything we needed. The rental process was extremely easy and the property manager was always quick to respond to our questions and concerns prior to the stay. We have four children - all of whom thoroughly enjoyed the stay as well. We took a day trip to Atlanta which is about a 2 hour drive - its doable and I liked that we could go on a day trip to the city to see the attractions and then retreat back into the peacefulness of this beautiful lakeside cabin. We hope to visit again soon.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.
Owner response: Glad you had a nice stay Trisha! Happy Holidays!

This place was just what we needed for a quiet anniversary weekend! We celebrated 5 years of marriage on Saturday and just spent the entire time relaxing. The weather was amazing and the leaves were beautiful! I have told my friends and family about this place and we will be back I am sure. Maybe when the weather is warmer and we can enjoy the water! Overall awesome experience!Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

My family and I just spent a wonderful week at this lakehouse. The pictures don't do it justice! It was very spacious for my family of 5 and the kitchen was well stocked. The house is on a quiet cove of the lake with some wonderful next door neighbors. My kids loved swimming and jumping off the dock and we enjoyed our time on our boat. I would caution other boat owners to be careful with the boat ramp that is suggested as our trailer got stuck. Needless to say we used the public ramp at Crooked creek to get the boat out. Other than that it was a wonderful stay, thanks for sharing!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, families with young children.

We just returned home from a weekend getaway at this property. It is absolutely beautiful! We loved everything about this house. The decor, the landscaping...everything was modern, fresh, and CLEAN! It looks exactly as depicted, only better in person! Very comfortable! The bottle of wine greeting us on the kitchen counter was a nice touch as well! The reservation process was also a breeze! Thank you, Will, for the easy transaction! Great location on the lake. It's at the end of a cove, so it's very quiet. The water around the dock is shallow. I'd say 3-4 ft deep. Which is nice for younger children. There is a ladder off the dock to climb in and out of the water. There's also a nice paved walkway down to the water. We used the Oconee Springs Marina which is just right around the corner on the water for fuel and such. The neighbors are very friendly. Overall, this is a fabulous property, and we had a great weekend! You won't be disappointed!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.
Owner response: Jessica, we so much appreciate your kind words and hope to have you back in the future. Have a great summer and please take care...
