  I can only recommend the highlander cabin to anyone. It is very charming, was absolutely clean and well maintained. The view is amazing and also it is in a resort area with other cabins close by the balcony feels private. The next time we stay at this cabin I would bring more additional spare towels, considering that there is a hot tub one towel did not seem to be enough. Due to the limited space upstairs playing pool has it's challenges, which was still a lot of fun.

  We really enjoyed this cabin, just as advertised and the views were amazing. At least they were on our last day when the sun finally came out. It's a great location, where you're secluded but you can quickly get to the Pigeon Forge attractions. You can also get to Gatlinburg very quickly, as long as the traffic there is not too bad. Only real complaint would be that newer seating is in order in the living room, not much cushion left.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children.

  We stayed for two nights... it was NOT long enough! The cabin is beautiful and the view spectacular! We had a competition for who could caputure the best sunrise pic. No matter how many pictures we took we could not capture the beauty of God's creation, you HAVE to see it! It was a bit drab looking without any leaves on the trees but that only increased the desire to go back in the summer or fall. We drove through the smokies and took pictures of the mountains and streams. Visited downtown Gatlinburg for the Thanksgiving Day celebration and visited the many shops. Watching the sun rise in the jacuzzi was a bonus! We're already planning our next stay which will be longer so we can explore the area more. Thanks for lending us your beautiful cabin and the precious memories we made during our stay.

  We loved everthing about the cabin, the views were spectacular. I just wanted to say THANK YOU for letting us stay at your cabin, we needed to get away for a few days. God Blessed us with the perfect weather. Everything from the beds to the view were awesome. I would recommend this cabin to anyone who is looking for a nice place to just get away and enjoy God's Beauty of the Smoky Mountains, the colors were not at the peak of the season but it was so beautiful and peaceful. It was everything we needed. The owner of the cabin was very pleasant to talk to and very helpful in every way to inform you of everything you needed to know. Thank You again for letting us stay at your cabin and may God Bless you in renting this cabin throughout the years to come.

  Wow.......that's the best way I know how to describe this cabin. It was very clean & very well stocked. The king size beds were so comfortable and the view from everywhere was awesome. Thank you so much for letting us stay here. I would totally recommend this cabin to everyone. We do plan on staying here again!!!!!

  We rented this cabin for our annual anniversary trip and it was everything and more! The cabin was clean,the beds were super comfy,and the view was GORGEOUS! There are only two things I would have changed......I wish we would have stayed longer and for the two trees right by the deck to be topped off! We would definitely come back next year! Also check out the Lumberjack fued dinner show it was awesome!

  We had a nice time here and the view is wonderful. It's only a few minutes from the Parkway, and very convenient to everything. We had a minor issue on arrival and the owners dealt with us personally to quickly resolve it. Easy to recommend.

  My wife and I stayed for 4 nights and had a wonderful time. The cabin was wonderful and view amazing. We brought so many things for cooking etc. only to find out the cabin already had them! We went out to eat only once... it was just too relaxing to sit in the cabin and grill out on the deck. Thanks so much for letting us rent your place!

  Wonderful view for the location. It is very close to all the action. The cabin is beautiful. We do suggest adding more towels and wash cloths so that it isn't necessary to wash every day. Also, it needs a good spring cleaning. (windows, cobwebs, etc...) I would definitely recommend the cabin.

  Owner response: I contacted the renters to see how many towels were left for the time stayed. I have notified my cleaning service to make sure enough towels/wash cloths are left for future guests. I also let the renters know that we have the windows cleaned twice a year but wait until the pollen is gone. Right now the pollen count is very high and it is hard to keep all cleaned during this time period. I thank you for letting me know about these things. We want your stay at THE HIGHLANDER to be the best it can be. Come back and visit with us real soon.
