Weather perfect stay, best nights sleep, roomy cottage, fresh and clean. It is fully equipped for a longer stay. Inviting front porch and rockers with beautiful views. The owners are delightful and they sent us off to a friendly casino for a good dinner and winnings. Did some sipping in the town and look forward to going back to this historic area.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers.
Owner response: Very nice review! They were delightful guests.

This cottage was perfect for my visit in the Carson Valley. Clean, comfortable, roomy, nice kitchen with everything I would need, if I chose to cook. The hosts went out of their way to make sure my stay was perfect. For me, the location could not have been better, tucked away in the pines, a view of the beautiful Carson Valley and minutes from Lake Tahoe. I will return to this property for my next reunion with my cowgirl friends in my old stomping grounds, Carson Valley. One other point, very safe and secure location.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers, sightseeing.
Owner response: What can I say. It was a perfect review!!!

This one bedroom house was a perfect way to visit family in the Carson Valley without being on top of them all the time. The house is clean, comfortable, functional and tucked back from the main road. It is close to all levels of hiking trails and biking routes, and it is only a 20 minute drive to Lake Tahoe. The owners live next door and are extremely hospitable and accommodating. They saw, for instance, that I liked to read outside and the next day there was an extra chair out back -- in addition to the comfortable ones on the front porch. I arrived to find the refrigerator stocked with essentials so that I could get on with my visit without having to find a supermarket. All in all, a delightful four-night stay.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers, sightseeing.
Owner response: I am very pleased with this review.
