Our stay in Gold Canyon was outstanding. This was our first visit to the area and we were awestruck by the beauty of the desert. We arrived on a rainy day but awoke the next day to brilliant sunshine and for the next 9 days we saw record temperatures. The pool, although not heated, was refreshing and welcome after hot days on the golf course, hiking or shopping. This property is decorated and appointed exquisitely. The artwork, the kitchen, the bedrooms were perfect and very clean. We felt at home almost immediately and were very sad to leave this little slice of paradise in the desert. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to escape the winter. Thanks to the owner for allowing us to share your incredible home.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Our stay in Gold Canyon was wonderful. The house was just like it was on the website and was VERY CLEAN. We arrived a bit early in the day so we couldn’t check in but as soon as the house was ready I received a text and all was good. Coming from Minnesota, we were excited to have a pool because ours was still frozen solid, and we were a bit sad to FEEL that it wasn't heated (I didn’t remember seeing that online) but the weather was perfect. We spent some time sitting around the patio with my mom and step dad and enjoyed the time with them. My wife and I were very impressed with how clean and neat the house was and with how nicely it was decorated. My kids loved the big screen TV and had sports center on whenever they could. We saw and did way too many things and were sad to have to leave but glad we did because the weather turned cold that weekend. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to stay and spend some time in the Gold Canyon / Phoenix area. Thanks to Jill for a wonderful place to stay.Did you find this review helpful? Our month in Gold Canyon was a warm, sunny, wonderful vacation. We wish we could have stayed longer. The house was well equipped with every amenity and squeaky clean. The photos accurately represent the property. I loved using the Pampered Chef cookware. The view of the Superstition mountains was inspiring. A great location with many activities nearby. I would recommend this property highly. The Phoenix area has many great museums. We enjoyed the Arizona Science Museum , Art Fairs, Indian events at the Heard Museum, and side trips to the Apache Trail, Canyon Lake, Saguaro Lake, Roosevelt Dam, Tubac, and several plays including Wicked at ASU. Too cool to use the pool.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing.

We have had the most wonderful holiday staying in your superbly equipped home. Definitely the best rental home we have used anywhere! Having visited AZ (Phoenix) before, albeit briefly, this location is an excellent base from which to travel to other parts of the state, for daily excursions or overnight stays. In our 2 weeks we've travelled over 2,000 miles. The scenery all over is quite spectacular and looking at the Superstition Mtns from the pool is just fantastic. Our 2 boys have had a great time having a TV in each bedroom was much appreciated! All the facilities of the house are very well organized and we really have wanted for nothing.Thank you again for letting us stay in your home and making us feel so at home.We hope to return someday!Did you find this review helpful? We are like ships that pass in the night and know nothing about the other, but myself and my family have been in the hospitality industry for 49 years with bed and breakfast, large hotel and now a village pub. I should like to congratulate you on your home. It has provided us with all we have needed this holiday - a comfortable and well equipped home to return to after our daily excursions. You have thought of everything we need to be comfortable. We really like AZ. It is truly a magnificent state, and the scenery is awe-inspiring. Although we live at the foot of the Berwyn Mtns back home in Wales, our scenery is pretty and yours is majestic. I guess that the whole of Wales would fit into one small corner of AZ. Keep up the good work and I feel sure that people will keep on coming ack to stay. SincerelyDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
