This post and beam home sits all by its self on ten acres with Farmington River 100 feet from back deck. Full of pine trees and clean fresh air to hike. Picture the story book and the house in the woods this is the house. It is very private (NO NEIGHBORS) and has Wood floors, hunt green and light wood decorating, great dining room farm table sits up to 12. French doors off living room and dining area to outside deck facing the river. Kitchen fully stocked. ALL YOU BRING ARE YOUR BEACH TOWELS & CHAIRS. House has brand new queen mattress. One first floor and one in the third bedroom upstairs. Bunk room is great for children. Full of sunshine and cross beams and great beds.
Small town has old-fashioned food store that has everything you need. Five minutes to Otis Reservoir-Tolland State Park for swimming,canoe rentals, hike, or just relax and you are only 20 minutes on counrty road to Great Barrington. Also five minutes to Jacobs Pillow. Stockbridge a must to visit. Just take 8 north to 7 and there you are. New Outlet just 4 miles down the road in Lee, another great old town to walk through. Great discount shopping. Or just relax on property and listen to the river. A great getaway for those New York City jobs. Must see inside of house to appreciate how they built it for us. Wonderfull all year round.
You can spend your days in a canoe at Otis Reservoir or hike or just relax on their little sand beach. A great place to bring the kids for lots of fun and family togetherness.
