Just bring your bathing suit and beach towels. We have furnished almost everything you need for your stay on Hilton Head Island. You will be only 2 minutes from the beach and 5 minutes from Coligny Circle and Coligny Park. Shopping, restaurants, grocery stores, shops, etc. are all within walking distance.
If you choose to cook in, the kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, etc. There is also a dishwasher and microwave. If you choose to eat out, there are over 300 restaurants. We will give you a list of our favorites. Most restaurants are geared to families and dress is casual, so leave dress clothes at home.
Our condo features two bedrooms. The master has a king size bed and the second bedroom has two twin beds. Each bedroom has a TV and DVD player. A sleeeper sofa is in the living room.
There is a deck off the living room that overlooks the pool. A perfect place for morning coffee or evening libation. There is also a TV and DVD player in the living room. A half bath is located off the dining room and a full bath is on the bedroom level, where a washer and dryer is also located.
Bicycling is very popular on Hilton Head. There are many bike rentals nearby. It is an easy way to see the island or ride on the beach. There are many bike paths all over the island.
Sea Pines Plantation is near. That is where the famous lighthouse is located. South Beach is very quaint and is one of the places where you can purchased Salty Dog T-shirts.
Savannah, GA., is about an hour away and is a beautiful city. Charleston, SC is about 2 hours away and is also very beautiful and has lots of additional sights to see. Bluffton is also close by and has a historic district with art shops. Beaufort also has a small historic section.
Tanglewood Villas has only 60 units, so it is small by comparison to most of the others. For this reason, it is quieter and less congetsted than most. Many residents are full time.

Year Purchased: 2004
About the owner: Our family first started vacationing on Hilton Head in 1978. We have come back every year and sometimes more than once. We now have our own place and we consider Hilton Head our second home. Since we are retired, we especially love to come here in the off-season when it is quieter. We have friends and relatives that have also purchased and stay on the island.
Why the Owner Chose Tanglewood Villas:
When we started looking for villas, we wanted to be in a convenient location. Close to the beach was our first piority and close to shopping, restaurants, etc. We wanted to be close the the 'Downtown' area of Hilton Head and yet in a quiet complex.
