Luxury Mountain Retreat
My wife and I enjoy finding off-the-beaten-path places to stay when we are hiking the National Parks and on vacation. The Rainbow House certainly fits the bill and more! Although there is a main road out front, you don't hear cars and have a house on five acres all to yourself! Not to mention being surrounded by a 360 mountain view! Access to NP trailheads and the Visitor Center are close by. We spend our day hiking and meeting with people, so to have a place to call your own is right for us! The Rainbow House is perfect for families and it was a luxury space for the two of us! The owners have thought of everything and if it is not in this house, you don't need it! Communication with Steve is excellent and the cleanliness of the house is impeccable! There are not a lot of rentals in this area, so if you are considering visiting this area, book it!

We're a professional couple from Seattle with an importing business that brings us to all corners of the world. We love out of the way, undiscovered paradises.

Why they chose this property

We became attracted to Marblemount a number of years ago while on hiking vacations and purchased a small farm there. This beautiful chalet on the Skagit River came along a little later, AMAZINGLY, just a few short weeks AFTER we took the rainbow shot that now serves as our logo. 'Rainbow House' is being enjoyed by an ever-increasing number of friends, clients and guests who have discovered the restorative magic of the Upper Skagit Valley and the North Cascades.

What makes this property unique

Wherever we are in the world, all we need to do is think of ourselves at our North Cascades property, taking brisk walks in the mountain air along the Cascade River to the Marblemount fish hatchery, watching Marblemount's famous bald eagles in Winter or the King Salmon running in early Fall.

We call it a 'Marblemount Moment.' So will you!
