That's right, when you stay at Reeves Roost you'll also agree. Dense woods provide privacy and an intimate setting for your complete satisfaction!
Quaintly located on the Toccoa River with beautiful scenic views, you can enjoy everything the river has to offer: swimming, fishing, and our favorite, tubing. Along the river and at the base of our cabin lies a green field decorated by colorful wild flowers. At night, fire flies and stars light up the sky. Sorry, pets are NOT allowed.
Relax in one of the many swings, rocking chairs, or hammocks on the porch, which is nestled high amongst tall pine trees. Plenty of trails are located in the bordering Chattahoochee National Forest, including the Appalachian. Other activities nearby include horseback riding, multiple golf courses, whitewater rafting, trout fish hatchery, water falls, and antique shopping. Nearby towns are Blairsville, Blue Ridge, Dahlonega, Elijay, Helen, and Dillard.
We would love for you to come and enjoy our cabin as we have for so many years. See why our renters come back year after year.

There are numerous water falls in the area that are less than an hours drive . Basstown Bald the highest ponint in Georgia and Helen Ga ( German theme town with beer gardens, etc.) are also less than an hours drive. About the owner: We are retired Florida natives that enjoy the outdoors and wildlife. We spend as much time in the summer here to escape the Florida heat.
Why the Owner Chose Blairsville: We vacationed in the area in a travel trailer with our boys and fell in love with the area . We starting looking for property. We found this one acre lot on the Toccoa river. It's about 200 yards down stream from the Chattahoochee National Forest. This gives us a lot of privacy ,solitude and wildlife. There is a State Trout Farm up stream from the cabin that you can visit and they stock the Toccoa regulary. The river is crystal clear and in places you can walk in the rushing water and fly fish. There is a indian fishing V in the river in front of the house that gives us some great river water sounds.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin: The cabin has a 12 ft. porch across the front over looking the river and mountains. The porch has a swing ,high backirockers and a dinning area. There is a lower deck with with a porch swing and a rope hammock. We enjoy sitting on the porch reading and watching the wildlife. In the evenings, we enjoy long walks in the forest and playing ping pong in the basement . We have a deer feeder in the meadow below the cabin that has deer coming both morning and eve. The fishing is great right in front of the cabin. But our most favorite past time is tubing the river from right in front of the cabin. There are tubes provided in the basement.
