My family stayed at Hideaway for a brief 4day/3nt trip from Athens (just under 2hours away). It felt like going to a different world to escape the heat and enjoy the cool mountain lake. The location of this property on the lake couldn't be better. The views from this house are spectacular long distance water and NC mountains. We also appreciated that the property was pet friendly. The dock is tucked away in a deep water cove perfect for swimming. My teenage son liked the high speed internet to stay connected. Thanks to Lucille and Sharon for taking great care of us.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.
