Year Purchased: 2004
About the owner: We winter in Stuart Florida and summer in Cincinnati, Ohio. In between we spend our time at Kenmure and at our island home in Georgia. We have three grown children and seven grandchildren. All of us love Kenmure for the environment in which it is located and all the fun things there are to do.
Why the Owner Chose Flat Rock:
We have always liked the Carolina mountains. When we discovered Flat Rock, we were awed by its beauty and historical significance, and the community of Kenmure. Kemure is very rare; it is near the "high mountains", convenient to Asheville, has all the activities we enjoy ---golf, tennis, fitness center, fine dining, walking, and excellent theater nearby.
