  This are is truly unique. so beautiful with its sandy white beaches and blue water. The best part is looking out from the balcony, straight over the water - nothing obstructing the view. The condo was very comfortable and clean and had all the amenities and "stuff" that we needed for 8 days away from home. Even an iron and ironing board! It was easy and a pleasure communicating with the owners.

  Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

  We spent spring break at this Okaloosa Island condo, and it was perfect! The beach and ocean were beautiful. Okaloosa Island had a great family atmosphere, even during spring break. Destin attractions were just a few minutes away. The view was spectacular, and the condo had easy access to the pool and beach (no stairs to the pool or beach). We look forward to staying again soon!

  We just got home today from our week at Sea Dunes and it was beautiful! This unit has everything you need and want for a week at the beach. We saw dolphins from our balcony and even got to see a large sea turtle in the surf one day! The complex is a great size and perfect for families. The owners are so friendly, helpful and personable. It was a great week and I definitely want to return. Thanks for such a great week at your beach home. We loved it.

  Our family absolutely loved our stay at Sea Dunes! In just a few steps you can have your toes in the sand. You are so close to the water that one morning, my children were able to watch around 15 dolphins play in the waves from the balcony. The beds were very comfy and the kitchen had pretty much anything that we needed. The pool and hot tub were not huge but never seemed to be crowded. The beaches are gorgeous and the water is so clear that my children were catching hermit crabs with ease in waist deep water. Since the condo is on Okaloosa Island, I didn't know how convenient restaurants, shops and grocery stores would be. I was very happy to find out that everything that you could need is within a 10 minute driving area. You never have to get in the heavy Destin traffic if you don't want to. Even that drive is not bad if you leave before the dinner crowd gets out. We only had one minor complaint when we arrived but the owner's got back in touch with us very quickly and said that they have it taken care of. I definitely recommend eating at Floyd's! Try the "Redneck" Sushi and the all you can eat Jumbo Shrimp. I suggest eating on the back porch overlooking the ocean. Jim N' Nick's BBQ in Destin is also delicious. Give the Habenero BBQ sauce a shot if you are brave enough. It will definitely set you on fire. :) Also try out Destin Snorkel at Destin Harbor. $30 for adults and $24 for kids gets you a boat ride to a semi-private beach where you can relax on the beach or snorkel all you want from 9 am until 3 pm. Thank you for letting us use your condo and we will definitely be back!!
