This single level home is located just a short walk to the main clubhouse and first tee. Newly painted and decorated with particular attention to the needs and expectations of vacationing adults, the home features an open floor plan with hardwood floors throughout and ample natural lighting with nine foot ceilings. Plantation shutters throughout provide privacy and can also be fully opened to enjoy the beautifully landscaped yard and blue sky. Designed for casual and comfortable living, you will enjoy a living room with formal dining area, family room with casual dining area. The family room features a 50-inch flat screen TV with full cable and HBO, DVD player, stereo with CD player and connection for your MP3 player. You will find a stocked reading, music and movie library along with a collection of board games. Adjacent to the family room/dinette is a fully equipped kitchen that has been upgraded with granite counters and warm wood cabinetry. Whether your plans include nothing more than warming in the microwave or full scale entertaining, you will find ample cookware and serveware to meet your needs. The pantry is stocked with basics, and you will find appliances for your convenience. A home office is equipped with laptop computer, printer/scanner, wifi internet and an original lounge chair from the Queen Mary where you can enjoy some quiet reading/napping. On the covered patio you will find a gas BBQ, comfortable dining for six and ceiling fans to ensure comfort while you watch the sunset. The enclosed front courtyard includes casual dining for four. The master bedroom is an inviting private retreat with king size bed, reading nook in the bay window, ample drawer and closet storage. The master bath features a large vanity with two sinks, a large soaking tub and separate enclosed shower. The guest bedroom is furnished with two twin beds that are easily converted to a king bed and also has ample drawer and closet storage. The guest bath has tub, shower and large vanity. The living room sofa converts to a queen size bed if needed. Two sets of linens are provided for each bed, along with ample towels. There is an attached two car garage with opener and a laundry area with washer/dryer. Bi-weekly housekeeping is also included. To ensure the comfort of all guests, we have a no pet, no smoking policy. This is an adult resort community and at least one renter must be 55+. Access to all of the many facilities and amenities in the community is included by simply registering at the reception desk in the main clubhouse; the cost is included in your rent. An electric golf cart is included for your use and ease in getting around the community. Visiting children are welcome to enjoy the recreational facilities throughout the community while accompanied by a supervising adult, but visits are limited to one week during your stay.

The home was beyond our expections. Owner provides amenities that we have never had before such as house keeping weekly and resident passes to the facilties at no additional charge. No question a great experience both with the accomodations and the facilities of Sun City Palm Desert. Very much would recommend this home to friends and sun seekers anywhere.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers.

About the owner: We live on the Central California Coast near the beach and our boat. Our home in Palm Desert was purchased new in 1995 and has been enjoyed exclusively by family members. We decided to make our home available as a vacation rental as we find ourselves spending most of our time at the beach. If you choose to make it your winter vacation home, you will find that we have tried to anticipate the comfort and needs of our guests so that you can fully enjoy your time in the incomparable desert weather during winter and spring.
