Jan, We would like to thank you for sharing your lovely home with the Cassida family this past weekend, January 20th-22nd. Your kitchen was so well stocked. We had everything needed to complete and enjoy every meal. Your home was well decorated, and so well tied together. Owning horses ourselves we found the decor and pictures fascinating. What a nice time we had. Saturday night we opened the window blinds, and were able to enjoy the sight of falling snow, from the comfort of the woodstove heated living area. I doesn’t get any better than that! Thank you again, and look forward to being able to enjoy your home again one day. Thank you, Scott CassidaRecommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers.
Owner response: Scott, I'm delighted to hear that you enjoyed both my home and your vacation! Thank you for your kind remarks. I look forward to your next visit!! Best, Jan

My wife and I (and daughter for a few days) spent a week here in Sept. 2011. Very pleased - everything we needed was there, everything was clean, we were very comfortable in the house. Tastefully furnished. Comfortable beds. The two bedrooms upstairs are separated by the upstairs bathroom and are each open on one side to the great room below. It is in a very convenient spot, and also a beautiful spot - you have a very nice view of the mountains and also can see the lake. There is an entrance to a neighborhood across the street where the trees block part of the view, but the view is still spectacular and expansive and we enjoyed sitting on the front deck taking it in. Good quality bikes - my daughter an I enjoyed them and we also took the tandem kayak out on the lake which was nice. We liked the area so much we bought a second house there - but if we hadn't I would definitely stay here again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers.
Owner response: Thank you for the wonderful review! I'm so glad you all enjoyed yourselves, and took advantage of the bikes and kayak!! Since my primary residence is in the high desert, I really enjoy seeing the leaves and their fall colors. When the trees are bare in the winter, the snow covered mountains are a gorgeous sight. Welcome to Pagosa! I'm sure you will enjoy the town for many years to come! ~ Jan
