Ideal Downtown Apt: Comfortable, Central and Quiet

  Spotlessly clean, well furnished, great layout, everything in working order. Kitchen had all we needed as we really do make meals when we travel. Lots of windows. Greeted by Mariano, after a delayed flight, and he was charming, informative, available but not intrusive. The flat is 34 steps up and situated on a quiet (we were able to sleep undisturbed with our windows open!) one block street, closed to traffic during the day and housing the Fashion Institute. Easy walk to Union Square, High Line and Chelsea restaurants and one block from subway. Smooth reservation and transaction experience. Could use a full length mirror and definitely an additional bedside table and lamp by each of the comfortable beds (there is only one table and lamp for each bed)

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

  My family and I arrived at the Chelsea apartment after a long flight from Australia. Having selected the apartment from the vrbo website, we were relieved to find the apartment and its location were every thing and more than as represented. The apartment was modern, comfortable, clean. The owners and manager were friendly, helpful and informative. The location was quite, safe and convenient. We will be back!!!!

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, sightseeing, age 55+.

  My family and I rented your apartment in Chelsea in Sept/October of 2012. We had a wonderful stay at your home in New York. The location was fantastic for us as it is close to the subway and shopping of all kinds. The apartment was clean and well stocked with supplies. Your representative Mariano Ros was so kind and helpful. His warm and friendly greeting made us feel at home immediately. We had a fabulous time in New York and we hope to have the opportunity to stay at your apartment again on our next trip. Thank you.

  The description for the apartment under-states the reality. The apartment is stylishly furnished and very clean. Everything works well and it was wonderful to be able to relax after a long day on the tourist beat!! The booking process was very simple. The owner was a pleasure to deal with and she was able to cope with the uncertanties of international funds transfers. We arrived on a really hot day and the building manager, Mr Ros had turned on the airconditioning for us and stocked the fridge with some cold water. He then took time to explain how everything worked in the apartment and also, the local attractions, restaurants and supermarkets. The cafe on the ground floor was fantastic. When the owner, Pepe realised we were staying in the apartment, he really looked after us. We can highly recommend his coffee. The district is full of life and colour. The street is closed off to through traffic, so is very quiet and safe. The subway is 100m away, the supermarket 100m in the other direction. You do not have to go far to find whatever you want. Back to the apartment itself, we just found it to be modern, clean and very comfortable. We used the wifi, the washing machine and the kitchen most days- even if only for breakfast. The owner, Paule Eisner should be very proud of the apartment and the manager, Mr Ros who does such a wonderful job of looking after both it and the guests. I have no hestation recommending this apartment to anyone who is looking for a great place to stay in the middle of a great city.

  Great location. The apartment was very clean spacious and well maintained. The description and photos are accurate and we would recommend this property to friends or relatives. Mariano is a lovely gentleman and looked after us well. We had a fantastic time in New York. Only one small suggestion, a full length mirror would be useful.

  Clean and bright 2bed/2bath full kitchen and large sitting/dining area. Great location for initiating walking tours or Penn station / subway access. Lots of quality restaurants in imediate area. We couldn;t have done better to fit our 6 days of two couples walking everywhere from Brooklyn Bridge to Central Park.

  Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine à New York. Le logement y est pour beaucoup. Très bien placé, beaucoup de choses à pied, vers le nord ou vers le sud, très spacieux, très confortable et surtout très calme alors qu'il est en plein centre. Magasins de proximité très pratique pour les courses après une journée trépidante, quel bonheur de se retrouver "chez soi". Rien ne manque dans la cuisine, les salles de bain, linge de toilette, wifi... Nous sommes parties à 4 : 2 adultes et 2 ados Merci pour l'accueil de Mariano et son intendance. Un appartement top et un vol en A380 qui nous donne qu'une envie, y retourner Laure et Jean Baptiste-France

  My wife and I and 2 adult friends recently had a 4 week holiday in New York staying in this wonderful apartment. The listing description regarding the location,layout,amenities and space of the apartment was accurate and the apartment had everything we needed or wanted. It is an easy walk to the subway but being in central Manhattan you can walk to many of the attractions of New York. The apartment was very clean and well maintained and had been renovated in the recent past.It had lovely street views and the trees were in blossom which added to the view. The apartment had a lovely feel to it and we came to regard it as our home. All of the apartment was well fitted out but particually the kitchen with fairly new appliances and oven and all the little things a good kitchen needs. The bedrooms were well decorated ,spacious and both had good views. The bathrooms were also spacious and feel maintained and fitted out. There were plenty of towels,sheets and supplies. There was oodles of room for 4 adults. We met the owners on several occasions and they could not have been more helpful. They helped with advise regarding activities,attractions,restaurants,cafes and the usual tourist attractions as well. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome in their property but also in their country. When they were not there Mariano Rios ,who lived in the property downstairs was the representative of the owners and he was a wonderful help. His knowledge of New York seemed unparalleled and he explained where art museums,comedy festivals,movie festivals could be seen asa well as explaining the history of New York and in particular the history of the architecture and the buildings. We had a lot of fun times with him. We had already recommended the property to several friends and our daughters and would recommend it to anyone without reservation. Undoubtedly it was a major reason why we had such a great holiday. Merv and Denny White

  The description of the apartment regarding the location, layout and amenities is very accurate. There are plenty of restaurants, supermarkets nearby and all what is needed for vacations. The district of Chelsea is charming! Mr. Ros was an excellent host, very helpful and provided a perfect service. Would definetly recommend this aprtment for my friends! Brigita Lithuania
