Perfection beyond words!!!! Corrine's attention to detail for the comfort of her guests is truly amazing! There was not one thing that we needed that wasn't provided. We have been coming to St.Martin for many years, staying in Simpson Bay. This year was a special year for our family celebrating some milestones and I could not think of a better place than the island that we love! Finding Corrines Townhouse was the icing of the cake! The home is beautifully decorated with every amenities you could possibly need or want. We frequented all of the restaurants, but our favorite was Big Fish! The beach is lovely but our favorite morning ritual was having coffee on the deck overlooking the marina and watching for the family of Iguana's. We love going to Orient especially Palm Beach and then returned to Antoine's Table for one of the most wonderful dinner. Thank you Corrine for an absolutely delightful week at your Townhouse!

Owner response: Hi Eileen: Thank you so much for your wonderful review. I am thrilled that you had a great time in my town home. St Martin is such a special place with experiences to please everyone - the beaches, food, entertainment and just the fabulous Caribbean vibes. We've been going for 25 years and I am still awed when I arrive at my home and grab a Margarita and sit on the deck to watch the harbor. It's my pleasure to share with my guests my home and all the amenities I try to provide. So happy you appreciated everything. Please return soon. Corinne & Richard Margulies

This second time around was as great as the first time. Being so close to the beach made that we use the townhouse a lot more as we were going back for lunch almost everyday. This year we also took advantage of ordering take out from all three restaurants that are across the street and had romantic dinners on our terrasse overlooking the marina with some great bottles of wine. The townhouse is so comfortable and well equiped that it makes you feel like you are in a six stars proprety. The addition of the pool is a nice touch, my wife would spend the later part of the afternoon reading by the pool. It is truly a pleasure to stay at Corinne's townhouse. We are looking forward to go back next year.

Owner response: Dear Alain: Well, you know they say "the second time around" is best! ha So pleased you and your wife were again able to take advantage of the romantic setting offered in the Town Home. Being able to order food from the 3 restaurants within a shell's throw adds to the pleasure since kitchen duties don't call. And, a good bottle of wine to enjoy while watching the harbor lights makes for a perfect evening. Thank you so much for your nice review and just remember that the spot is open for your third visit whenever you choose. The addition of the pool really completes the experience and so happy France was able to enjoy it. Best Regards, Corinne & Richard

The townhouse is very spacious and extremely comfortable. The views on the marina were great. We would not change anything from our 3 week stay. We appreciated all the little details that Corinne's townhouse provides from the welcome at the airport, to the daily cleaning service to the the fully equipped kitchen (better than my kitchen back home!). We will definitly be back!

This was my parties third trip down the island and our third consecutive stay in Corinne's town house. This is true luxury. The town home is beautifully decorated with top of the line appliance, and when we arrived the food that we had ordered was laid out immaculately in kitchen with beers in the refrigerator and wine chilled in the cooler. We spent a lot of time on the beach that is ACTUALLY 1 min from the door. The beach was wonderful, great sun, light waves, and almost never people on it! Breakfast was always a treat at Mr. Busby's which is right on the beach, food is great, breakfast had huge portions! There was so much to do on the vacation that we didn't get to everything. We would go out to casinos at night, various beautiful beaches with water sports by day, one day we even took a ferry over to Anguilla to visit the amazing cuisinart resort. As a young group I can confidently say that our favorite day was when we drove to the beach by the SXM airport. At that beach there are plenty of drinks, entertainment, and the planes fly 30 ft overhead when they land! All in all amazing trip, worth it in every way, and made perfect by a perfect host in Corinne and her Town home

Owner response: Dear Third Timer: We loved having you and your group in our home and it sounds like you loved being there! Thanks for sharing your experience and activities with us. Having guests enjoy a great vacation in our home is music to our ears and it certainly appears you took full advantage of all the special offerings in St Martin. I am certain future guests will look forward to trying out some of your suggestions. Mark your calendar because the town home is waiting for your fourth visit!! This was my second time staying in Corrine's waterfront townhouse. My stay here in January was unbelievable. The weather was great as it ranged between 80-85 degrees. It was never too hot and it was NEVER cold! The townhouse itself was amazing. Upon arrival, everything you needed was there. It was very clean and everything you needed was available. The kitchen was full of all different appliances and there is a huge grill out on the porch that's perfect to sit and eat and enjoy the view! Within walking distance of the beautiful Dawn Beach, Mr. Busby's Beach Bar, and other very nice restaurants, this is the perfect spot for a vacation getaway. Dawn Beach is a great beach because it is never too crowded and you will always find a spot on the beach with your name on it! There are several nice restaurants in walking distance that always provide for a nice evening. The great thing about St. Maarten is that everything is within a short drive. Orient Beach, the famous Airplane Beach, and the Westin Casino are all in close proximity to the townhouse! This time around, my group took a ferry to Anguilla! This was one of the most fun times we have had on vacation. All of the beaches on Anguilla are public and there are plenty of resorts to hang out at for the day and use their beach. This time around we went to Orient beach where they offer a full range of water sports that include jet skis, banana boats, and parasailing! Fun for everyone! Finally, on to the owner. Believe me when I say that you won't rent from a more welcoming owner than Corrine. Corrine is the type of woman who will put all of her focus on her renters to make sure that they are happy 100% of the time they are staying in her townhouse. If there is ever something you need she will help you out and if she happens to be away at the time, the staff at the Coral Beach Club is always there to make sure you get what you are looking for. This vacation was amazing and I wouldn't change a single thing about it. I cannot wait to go back next year!!!!!

Owner response: Dear James: Thank you so much for your great review. I am so happy you and your friends enjoyed our home and found it met all your expectations. That is always my goal - my guests should leave St Martin with wonderful memories, a beautiful tan and ready to face the "real world" again. I hope you return again next year to enjoy the new pool we have built. Best Regards, Corinne & Richard

My family recently had the pleasure of staying in St Marten for a week at Corinne’s TownHouse #19. We had been to St Marten several times before but always on a cruise ship, staying for just a day at a time. This was our first air/land trip to St Marten. After spending 7 days in this paradise the question is not IF we will return on another air/land vacation, but WHEN. One other point that is for sure, is we will reserve one of Corinne’s properties. I would like to make it clear that prior to two months ago, Corinne was a complete stranger. I have no relation to Corinne, nor was I provided any incentive from Corinne for the content of this review. My sole intent in writing this review is to share with others, the excellent vacation which we just experienced in St Marten. First, let me say a few words about Corinne. Being a detailed person (an Engineer), I had many questions regarding the TownHouse rental and island of St Marten. On all of our cruise stops in St Marten, we had always either taken a Taxi to Orient Bay or spent the day in Philipsburg. For 2 months leading up to this stay, I conversed with Corinne many times over e-mail and telephone. While it was obvious she leads a busy lifestyle, Corinne always responded quickly to my questions and provided very complete, concise and helpful information. It became clear to me that Corinne has a genuine desire to make sure your vacation is as enjoyable to you as are her stays on the Island. I got the feeling from Corinne that she takes great pride in the properties which she owns on the Island…that they are not just income-generating properties, but her homes. She views your stay as coming to her home. As such, she makes sure everything in the Townhome/Villa that she uses, is made available to you as a guest. The TownHouse was fitted with just about anything you would need for a beach vacation (and then a few things). There are plenty of bath and beach towels, shower outside, and a washer/dryer. There is also daily Maid service. Corinne’s long-time Assistant, Victoria, is a sweet lady who works hard to ensure you are having a perfect vacation. Victoria was always there when we needed her, and unseen the rest of the time. She was integral in making us feel welcome at the TownHouse. All in all, this was one of our best vacations ever! Certainly a good part of our enjoyment came from having such a great place to recover and sleep at night. Thanks Corinne!

The Town Home has everything that you need for a great vacation whether you are a couple or a family. It is quiet and peaceful with a fun, two story decked view of the marina cove. The apartment itself is immaculate. If you wish to cook your own meals, the kitchen is equipped with enough tools for a good chef. You may not want contact with the outside world but the Town Home has wireless internet and cable televisions in the living room and bedrooms to keep you in touch if you want to. The management and people who come to clean are very friendly and efficient. And if you're running out of ways to relate to kids in their teens and twenties, come here! The island offers enough for everyone of any age, whether you want to just rest and relax or get out for adventures. We spent some part of everyday on the great beach by the Town Home swimming, playing volleyball and sunning away the hours. An impending ocean wind can determine the fact but the waves on this part of the island were big enough for experienced swimmers to have fun in, yet not overwhelming for younger kids. And a cool drink or lunch is available right on the beach at Mr. Busby's. There are also several other great restaurants right by the Town Home, including 'Canoa' and 'Big Fish', an excellent seafood restaurant that serves, among other things, delicious crab cakes. We took a trip to the beach and cafes on the French side at Grand Case where the water was crystal clear and very gentle for little folks who are 7 and under. And if you rent a beach chair for the day (reasonable fee), the people who own the beach fronts there wait on you hand and foot and you can order things to drink and eat while taking in the ocean views. We also chartered a catamaran and had a day of sailing and snorkeling at one of the smaller island coves. St. Martin has nice shopping areas and a vibrant nightlife and we spent one night at a casino, trying our hand at roulette. One can have fun and hang in the game for a while with a little money (if you don't put too many chips in one spot) and our older boys came out ahead. We quit once $30 dollars down and just enjoyed watching them play. At the end of the day we looked forward to returning to the Town Home which had all of the comforts of home and more. (The beds are truly worth mentioning, we slept so well). And at vacation's end we realized that if we could do it again we might not go anywhere else as all that you could wish for is near at hand.

Owner response: Dear Jeff and Laura: It was so gratifying to read your review and the wonderful and helpful comments about your vacation - especially the recommendations that I'm sure future guests will very much appreciate. I designed my Town Home to be a beautiful and comfortable retreat from which my guests could explore the island and always know they were returning to a real "home away from home" at the end of the day. Thank you for your great review and we hope to see you again soon!

Corinne's Town Home was absolutely gorgeous!!! In person, the condo looks exactly the same if not better than it does in the pictures. The decorations were classy, the property was impeccably clean and the staff was extremely friendly/helpful. The town home was equipped with all the amenities one could possibly want or need. Not to mention the beds were SO comfortable! The view from the back porches were absolutely gorgeous. It was so serene to sit on the porch at all hours of day and look out onto the water - from watching the pelicans dive for fish in the morning to the magnificent view of the stunning boat lights at night. The beach is only about a minute walk from the front door of the townhouse. The water was absolutely perfect for snorkeling - there are so many fish and interesting coral reefs to explore! Also, unlike most other parts of the island, there were actually some waves here which always makes a day at the beach that much more enjoyable. At night, there were many spots to choose from. For happy hour, Busby's Restaurant is a great place to go ($1 dollar beers, half price drinks, etc - I recommend their homemade banana rum!) For dinner, I recommend Canoa, which is one of the restaurants located right next to the Townhouse, for an absolutely delicious meal. Their seared tuna was one of the best dishes I've ever had. Right down the road is the Weston, which offers a very fun casino scene that has a lot of table games (a lot of the casinos on the island only have machines games). I highly recommend this vacation spot for anyone looking to have a great Caribbean vacation. Whether it be a relaxing vacation or a vacation packed with adventure, this is definitely a great place to stay. I can not wait to go back to Corinne's Town Home!

More Oyster Pond than Dawn Beach, which is not a bad thing. The well appointed unit sat directly on the shore of Oyster Pond. It was bright, clean and for the most part cool - except upstairs (where the bedrooms were located - AC broken - more on that later). Although equipped with all the goodies, the unit was also filled with enough tourist-trap object d' art to fill an airport taxi stop. The 1980's Miami inspired furnishing were neither retro-chic nor vintage-charm. Mostly pimp-white and ice-acrylic with Playschool primary colored circus prints. Oo - LA - LA And then the beach - To get to there, we were instructed to enter through a beach bar located next to the complex. This was strange because a good portion of the complex was actually located on Dawn Beach. I guess we didn't have the proper credentials for that section. Once there, the entire "white sand" beach was blanketed in strange brown seaweed - fist-sized clumps of itchy-pokey stuff had collected in foot-high piles along the shore. There was even a giant rusting yellow tractor parked atop a hill of the stuff. Apparently its task had been futile. Later, we did climb over the seaweed hill to the Westin Dawn Beach Resort where they had a better handle on the problem. Day One - No A/C in the entire upstairs, workmen in and out all day - we had to sleep in a vacant unit next-door. 5.3 earthquake. Two members of our party took a room at the Westin. Day Two - Still no AC upstairs. The condenser needed to be replaced. Workmen in and out all day. By dinner time, the AC was finally working! Yeah. Day Three - No drama - we were able to enjoy the rest of our time in real Miami Vise style. In the end, I probably would have been less critical of the decor if the A/C worked well enough to keep the sweat out of my eyes. We all agree that we probably won't come back to St Maarten/Martin - too much trash and poverty. But the entire Coral Beach Club staff was first rate; helpful and attitude free throughout the whole A/C ordeal. Seaweed aside - Coral Beach Club is well managed and perfectly maintained. Did I mention the earthquake? Enjoy at your own risk.

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Owner response: Dear Guest, Unfortunately, I guess you cannot please everyone and I am certainly sorry your vacation in my home had so many challenges. An earthquake and the new problem with beach seaweed was not in my control, and I wish I could wave a magic wand to insure perfect weather and make the seaweed disappear. However, at this point I have not been given those powers. I am sure it was uncomfortable when the air conditioning broke and I do understand your consternation. However, I am happy to hear the staff was so proactive in repairing it even though they encountered a broken compressor so it took longer. But they did the best under the circumstances and moved you to an adjacent unit with air conditioning for the night. As far as the decor, most of my past guests have loved the very comfortable, colorful, and perhaps whimsical decorations hopefully reminding them they are on a bit of a fantasy vacation and away from the real world. Sorry it was not to your taste. I do hope you will give St. Martin another chance because it is a wonderful vacation spot and has the friendliest people in the Caribbean. Best of luck in your new travels.

Everything that you see listed at this location can still not describe how nice the property is.... We especially loved the decor of the property as well as all the included amenities. The town home is spotless, equipped better than most homes, location is perfect for anything that you would desire to do while on the island. Being within walking distance to several places to eat, casino, water sports, day cruises, and snorkeling makes this place especially appealing. You cant ask for better house keeping services. We enjoyed many afternoons sitting on the upper balcony watching sailboats coming back in, listening to live music across the bay at Oyster Bay Resort and getting ready for happy hour at Busby's. I am looking forward to many returns.

Owner response: I was so pleased to read your great review and happy to hear you enjoyed a super vacation in my Town Home. You are right that the location makes it so appealing and certainly the marina views from both decks afford a plethora of things to watch from the sailboats and yachts with shining lights on the hill in the evening sipping your drinks, or watching the pelicans dive for their dinner. Thanks again for a wonderful review. It is most appreciated. I look forward to your return.

From the moment you walk into Corinne’s townhome it is like walking into a high-end South Miami Beach residence – complete with travertine, leather, top end appliances and ocean friendly colors. Truly, the views are exquisite from every deck and balcony. As a traveler who is on the road 3 – 4 days every week, I am accustomed to staying in hotels of all levels and know that pictures on websites are frequently photo shop fixed to where there is little or no resemblance to the actual place. Well, for the first time in years, I was astounded to see that Corinne’s townhouse actually looks even more wonderful in person than it does on her very polished website! It was absolute heaven to be picked up promptly at the airport, delivered to the townhome with a warm welcome from Coral Beach Club staff, have food waiting in the refrigerator and the rental car delivered within 15 minutes of arrival. This is all due to Corinne’s incredibly attentive hosting skills in advance. There is nothing that was disappointing in this entire process. I’ve stayed in St. Martin before with friends at a time share on the Dutch side and have always loved the island for its diversity and food. Corinne’s location on Oyster Pond was nothing short of perfection. We usually choose ocean front views, but were so delighted with the boats on Oyster pond encompassing a morning through night spectacular view that we have now changed our minds! In addition, Corinne’s townhome is on the border between the Dutch and French side, making it ideal for going to Orient Beach, Pinel Island and the gourmet capital of the Caribbean, Grande Case! Pinel Island was a new find for us, recommended by the extremely knowledgeable Ingrid, Manager of the property, who also gave us many other savvy tips shared below. We absolutely loved Pinel Island – only a short 5 minute boat ride from Orient Bay and a measly $7 US Roundtrip! The water there is like St. John’s – aqua blue, white sand and very private. For restaurants we went to three of Corinne’s recommended: Spiga, L’Auberge Gourmand and Big Fish. All were exceptional in their own way and the service was superb every time. Several times, because the view and ambiance was so perfect at “home” we ordered out from Big Fish and ate on the lower deck of the main floor overlooking the pond with our own bottle of Grand Cru purchased on the French side for next to nothing, compared to US prices. For wine lovers like us, don’t bother to bring any with

I put my heart and soul into creating what I hoped would be a vacation fantasy for the discriminating guest and it's so gratifying to hear your kind words - music to my ears. So pleased you enjoyed the restaurants suggested and especially Pinel Island which is such a special little piece of the island with that calm and beautiful water. Lunch there is also a real treat. Our stay at Corrine's Town home couldn't be nicer. Corrine thought of everything. The unit was even nicer in person. We have stayed at many rentals before but this was by the nicer unit we have every stayed in. Housekeeping came in every day and they did a really nice job. We are familiar with St. Maarten and chose this location based on Dawn Beach. If you want a pool you need to rent Corrines Ocean view villa, but we were in the ocean everyday. Phillipsburg is much closer to drive to. If you are looking to go to Simpson Bay or Marigot it is a longer drive (about 30 minutes in total depending on traffic). There are a few restaurants in the immediate area and that would include the Westin which is a 2 min. drive. St. Maarten has many different beaches to go to between the French side and Dutch. Each has its own charm. If you want to go for a day trip, Anquilla and St. Barts are only a boat ride away. Pinel island is great for snorkling and also a quick ferry ride. The restaurants on the island are all good for the most part, some better than others. We like Marios Bistro in Sandy Ground, Busbys is across the street great for breakfast, lunch or dinner. If you are craving home made pastas go to IZI in Simpson Bay. If you like clean grilled food, Skip Jacks in Simpson Bay is great(Loved the grilled Wahoo, Mahi, Grouper and the fried calamari). Weather was gorgeous. Enjoy Corrines. Linda NYC

The townhouse is just perfectly located with a beautiful view of the marina and across the street from the beach. The townhouse is as the pictures, just gourgeous, it is very well appointed and the owners have great taste. The bed was so confortable that my wife wants us to change our at home now. We had breakfast every morning on the terrasse overlooking the marina and watching vacationers taking one of Captain Allan boat tour. This was our 7 times in St-Martin and I can tell you it was the nicest place we stayed. You have three great restaurants just accross the street, which we did eat at each one, Big Fish, Canoa and Daniel by the sea. We ended up ordering out from Daniel by the sea and enjoying our dinner on the terrasse with a good bottle of bordeaux. The housekeeping staff is very professionnal. There is also a small convenient store by the townhouse with mostly what you need if you do not have time to go to town. Back to the townhouse, it is so well decorated, it was obviously done by a designer our Corinne as great taste (probably both). We had friends who were staying at the Westin and they could not beleive how luxurious our place was. In previous trips to St-Martin we use to spend most of our time between Orient Beach and Pinel Island, but with the Townhome so close to Dawn Beach we ended up spending our time mostly between Pinel Island and Dawn Beach. It was great to walk back to the townhouse at lunch time have some lunch and a good bottle of Rose and than walk back to the beach for the rest of the afternoon. Little secret for the Lobster lovers, just by the Townhouse there is a gentlemen ( he has a small pick up truck and boat) who every morning goes fishing, you tell him how many lobsters and how big and he will get them for you at the price you would pay at the market in Marigot without having to go at 7am to get them. They were awsome. Thank you Corinne for the opportunity to stay at your Townhouse. Alain & France

Owner response: Dear Alain and France, I am so happy you had a wonderful vacation and that my new Town Home provided you with all the comforts of home. And, thanks for the great tip about the lobsters - I will advise my future guests who always ask where to buy fresh seafood. Please do come back next year. And, thank you again for your wonderful, complimentary and helpful review. Incidentally, I do love to decorate (not a professional however) and my husband says "you just keep buying properties so you can decorate them." He's probably right because I do love to create lovely environments for my guests. Corinne

My week at Corrine's Townhouse was nothing short of amazing. Let me start by saying that the townhouse itself was fabulous. The two-floor space is beautifully designed in every way including extremely comfortable outdoor furniture (great for naps!). The bedrooms are great sizes and have very nice bathrooms and the kitchen appliances are state-of-the-art. The view of the marina is very pretty. The townhouse was spotless! Corrine provided great customer service while I was there and if there was ever a question regarding anything, the staff at Coral Beach was around to answer it. The listing description was very accurate, just a short walk out of the townhouse and you are in the ocean. The Coral Beach Club offers some of the best island food I've ever eaten (and I've been to the Bahamas, Jamaica, and Aruba). The first night me and my company were there we went to Busby's, a mellow and delicious place to dine with the family. Two other restaurants in walking distance of the townhouse are Big Fish and Canoa, which boasts some of the best seafood I've ever had. These restaurants also have a very lively staff who want you to enjoy your stay as much as you do yourself! As I said earlier, the beach is only a minute walk away. A beautiful and small beach that offers privacy and relaxation for all. With a few quiet beach bars, it's the perfect way to spend your day! While in St. Martin, there are many activities one can participate in, most notably water sports. At night, the island offers a pretty boardwalk with many restaurants as well as casinos (13 in total). St. Martin is a small island which is great because everything is within a reasonable driving distance. I would unquestionably recommend this property to a friend or relative. Corrine's Townhouse gave me a week of memories that I will look back on for a long time. Starting with the property decor and amenities, the townhouse itself offered a very comfortable living experience. A short walk to the beach explains itself and the food was top notch. Having personally met Corrine I can tell you that she is a very warm and caring person who only wants to help others. By staying in her luxurious townhouse, you know that you will be taken care of as if you were her own kin. One can't go wrong by choosing to stay in Corrine's Townhouse!

Owner response: When I receive a review like this, it truly warms my heart because I wanted my new home to offer the vacationer a true "home away from home." I am very happy you and your friends had such a good time and enjoyed all the amenities. Comfort was my starting point and then I wanted the surroundings to make my guests feel they were really in another world for their vacation. And thanks so much for giving all the information about the island and what you enjoyed. Thank you for your review and I hope to see you next year. Corinne Margulies

The town house was gorgeous everything you need to feel at home like the kitchen and the nice BBQ on the deck.Evrything is there from glasses and plate... Waking up every morning to the beautiful view of the marina was peaceful and relaxing. I can not say enough things about the town house. It was better that my husband and I could think of. Victoria the housekeeper took very good care of us and if you have the need of anything call the front desk and they will help you. The island have lot to offer.Restaurant like Daniel, captain oliver and big fish are walking distance to the town house. We like also Grand case in the french side with lot of restaurant to choose from like l'escapade and le tastevin. For some relaxation (Palm beach club) or sport activity go to Orient bay 20 minutes drive from the villa. It was a beautiful vacation thank you to the owner Ms Corinne and MR Richard to make this town house a paradise home.
