We had a wonderful stay at this Neachen Bay (previously Squaw Bay) home. The home is located in the perfect spot on CDA for boating and jet skiing. We had a boat delivered and docked at the home for our vacation and had a wonderful time. Huttons General Store is minutes away by car or boat and has everything you need. Gas (car and boat), lunch, pizza, sandwiches, ice cream, speciality sauces and jams, drinks, grocery etc. You must visit. The home was decorated very nice with plush linens and was fullly equipped with everything we needed. The king bedroom in the top floor is an open loft with a walk in closet and large bathroom (shower and tub). The 2 seperate queen bedrooms on the main floor were small but very nice. Only one room had a closet and drawers, the other only had drawers no closet. A shared bathroom (shower and tub) was on this floor. All 3 of these rooms has TVs. The lower level had a great family room with large TV, bar, dining table, bathroom (shower and tub) and seperate room with 2 queen beds. There was a door in that bedroom to a large laundry room which has an additional refidgerator. The video games and pinball machine in this family room did not work (but noone wanted to play with them anyway. Too many other options). The kitchen on the main floor had plenty of room. Great fridge, small microwave, blender, coffee maker, pots pans and everything you need. The oven worked, but the display did not. It cooked a bit slow, but got the job done just fine. The dining room chairs are wobbly and begining to fall apart... one was broken. But they were fine for our use. The TVs had every channel you wanted. No WIFI for computers but Verizon 4G cell phone worked fine (we tethered the laptop when needed to the cell phone for access). Beautiful deck and beautiful view. Hot tub was wonderful after a day of play. The deck paint peeled easily with minor movement of charis and was a bit of a mess. I assume that is normal with the severe weather changes and probably a standard maintenance item. There is also a very large lower deck which was perfect for relaxation out of the sun. From this deck there is access to a cool room with a pool table (making 4 levels of space in this home). There is a private sandy beach to play on and a fantastic dock. We floated on rafts, rented a boat and several jet skis and were able to store them perfectly. The water was perfectly warm and refreshing. WE WILL COME AGAIN!Recommended for: Families with young children, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Just an awesome home in an awesome spot. The beautiful big decks had glorious views of the lake and Squaw Bay and were perfectly situated for comfortable afternoons and evenings. The kitchen and living area easily accomodated our large group. Terrific covered boat dock and wave runner docking stations. Nearby marina with fuel and a charming little country store just around the bend. Owner was very helpful and responsive to our questions prior to and during our stay. We definitely recommend this home!Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.
