  Our stay at Azura was fantastic. The house is beautiful, the location is magnificent, and Mitze the housekeeper and Titus the gardner helped make the stay even more enjoyable. If you like to fish, ask Titus to set you up with his friend Leroy for a great little fishing trip. This is not your big time deep sea fishing, but a truely memorable time fishing with locals. Leroy also provided us with some great lobsters we cooked up at Azura. We hope to return same time next year.

  Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

  My wife and I enjoyed Villa Azura last May and have not been able to forget it. In fact we just completed a vacation to St Marten and Anguilla, and all my wife can talk about is how the overall experience does not match the one we had at Villa Azura. In our many years of marriage, I do not recall a home we rented having that affect on her. She talks about it all the time. Guess we will be returning. If you have dinner at Catherines in English Harbour, ask for the Passion Fruit Creme Brulee.

  We have traveled to a number of Caribbean islands, but this was our first stay on Antigua. We will definitely return. The people are so friendly and helpful, and the island is beautiful. Villa Azura put it over the top! The villa is absolutely stunning- photographs cannot do it justice. The owners have done a fabulous job with each and every detail. They have thought of everything- and made it feel so unique and special! Every dealing with the owners was a pleasure. Beyond helpful, and fantastically accommodating! We arrived 8 hours early due to hurricane Sandy, and the owners even arranged to get us into the villa a night early! Our saving grace- as we'd booked what turned out to be. Less than ideal place for the night, thinking we'd be arriving late in the evening. The villa is so perfect it was hard to leave to even go explore. There is a lovely snorkeling beach- Long Bay- just moments away. (With a beach restaurant, rental chaises & umbrellas) and, a few other nearby restaurants for those meals when we decided to get a bite out. Perfectly situated for us- peaceful yet close to great island spots. We found the island so easy to navigate- going to the large market in St Johns was quite simple. Antigua offers a bit of everything- or a beautiful spot to do nothing. Villa Azura is the icing on the cake. We can't wait to return!!!!

  We had an absolutely phenomenal time at Villa Azura. Our family was looking for a private getaway and this is exactly what we received. The house was beautifully maintained, the views were spectacular, and the outdoor living space was magnificent. The organization of the rental and dealings with the owner were professional and she was extremely helpful with providing additional information about the island. Don't be alarmed by the road up to the villa....it is rugged but does indeed lead you to paradise! Mitzie, the housekeeper, was very efficient and extremely friendly. We chose to hire a chef for the duration of our stay and this was a wise decision. Norma, we loved sharing the week with you and getting to know you and experiencing all your wonderful dishes! We will most certainly return to Antigua and Villa Azura!

  We stayed 1 week at Azura and loved every minute. What made our stay so special was Mitze the villa manager, she is a wonderful person and did a fantastic job of making sure we had everything we needed. Just a 10 mins walk away is Long Bay and what I would say is the nicest beach on island. On day 1 of our stay we were greeted by 2 Humpback Whales that swum right up to the ocean edge in front of the villa. 1 night we had a local chef to prepare a special dinner. We had a fantastic vacation.

  We had a fantastic time. Villa Azura, which sits on the edge of the hill overlooking the Atlantic, is an exceptionally well designed home where the transition between indoor and outdoor living disappear. The private bedrooms, all with private baths and outdoor showers are lovely and comfortable. The individually cooled beds are a modern day marvel. The kitchen is lovely and well equipped. The infinity edge pool with the view of the ocean is a great place to relax and cool off. The sky at night is a site not to miss from the roof top patio. The staff was attentive, polite and helpful. Although the house is located on a quiet part of the island it’s only a short walk to the beach and historic sites are only a short drive away. Thanks for great relaxing vacation.

  Azura is a beautiful villa in a stunning location overlooking the sea. The bedrooms have four poster airconditioned beds and lovely bathrooms with delightful outdoor showers. The whole villa is very well equipped and managed by Mitzie, who is pleasant, helpful and efficient. It would be easy to never move from the brilliant pool and gardens! However there are many beautiful beaches within easy driving, my favourites being Half Moon Bay, Pigeon Beach and Long Bay (within walking distance). I certainly recommend lunch at Catherine's in English Harbour; Sheer Rocks at Ffryes Bay for cocktails in the plunge pool before supper in the restaurant; Cloggy's at the Antigua Yacht Club for Sunday Brunch; and Shirley Heights for rum punch, steel band and barbecue on Sunday evenings. My family had a wonderful holiday and I would highly recommend it. I would love to return one day!

  I had a fabulous stay at Villa Azura and can not rate it highly enough. If what you are looking for is a luxurious Caribbean villa escape with all of the comforts of home (and more!), Villa Azura ticks every box. I stayed in one of the double rooms in the property - it was spacious, tastefully decorated and very comfortable with a beautiful en suite bathroom with outdoor shower. My bed was air conditioned which made for a very comfortable sleeping environment (it was quite hot and humid when I arrived so this was a fantastic plus). The villa itself is tastefully decorated in Mexican style and has everything you could possibly want including a spacious and fully equipped kitchen, airy outdoor dining area, bar-b-q, relazing poolside gazebo, roof terrace which is perfect for an evening rum punch. The infinity pool is perfect for a dip in the hot afternoon and great for lounging around in the very comfortable poolside beds. I had a fabulous week in Villa Azura - my only complaint being that a week was not enough!. I hope to return someday.
