DECEMBER OPENINGS : ON-LINE CALENDAR DOES NOT REFLECT AVAILABILITY! This is one of our two very pretty condos that we offer at beautiful Kamaole Sands! Both are fully remodeled. Our "Spirit of Aloha" unit at Kamaole Sands is a second floor, corner unit in building #1 with a huge patio lanai sitting over the tropical gardens. Gorgeous views! Lush tropical plants alive with Hawaiian birds. Enjoy your meals around the large lanai table with comfortable full size chairs and relax with the fountains in clear view, delight in the view of Mount Haleakala, and a partial ocean view of Molokini Crater and the blue South Pacific to the west. Nicer still is the privacy shield of plumeria blossoms that surround one side of the lanai.
This condominium has been fully remodeled, has a pillow top bed and is always kept immaculate. Tile floors throughout, granite counter tops in the progressive yet traditional fully appointed kitchen, lovely bathrooms with granite counters, new cabinets, pretty mirrors, and new fixtures throughout...and the list goes on! A favorite detail has to be the large walk-in shower with a built-in shower seat in the master bathroom. The high wall mount TV/DVD/VCR/CABLE in the Master bedroom makes watching a movie while in bed very comfortable. Bring your lap-top to enjoy the free High Speed internet. If you are a coffee enthusiast you will truly enjoy the Expresso Machine that is additional to the atuomatic coffee maker. Plantation shutters were installed in the master bedrooms for optimal privacy.
This pretty condominium is ideal for your home-away-from-home or simply a lovely place to spend your honeymoon. The decor is delightful. The Hawaii touch is experienced front to back with lovely framed photo art and a large print of the Hawaiian Islands map by the artist Strickland. The convenience of two televisions (cable, VCR, DVD), a separate stereo system to play your favorite Hawaiian music, washer and dryer, fully-equipped kitchen with all the details, and the choice of dining inside or out on the patio lanai makes this a real bargain. You don't need to pack your own beach towels. Large beach towels and beach items are in the condo as well.
A big advantage is the location. This condominium is a corner unit in Building 1 at Kamaole Sands, closest to the ocean side. And what a beach! Kamaole Beach III is definitely one of the most snorkel-friendly beaches in Maui. Enjoy warm, crystal clear water, plenty of colorful tropical fish, white sand beaches in this tiny half moon cove, and interesting lava formations that reach out under the water into reef heads. Nice to shore dive! Great snorkeling. Also, it is just a short walk to shopping, dining, the boat ramp, or the dive shop!
Egyptian beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, iron and ironing board, blow dryers and curling irons also add to the convenience. Additionally an extra change of high thread count sheets are made available by the owners for our direct bookings. We pay attention to our guests and do our best to add little details that will make your stay truly an Aloha experience. Those who have stayed at any of our vacation homes know that we pay close attention to detail! Many of our guests are return guests and guests by referral.
Walk the beach into town for dinner and enjoy the colorful South Maui sunsets! ABC Store, Whaler's General Store, Dive & Snorkel shop, postal and shipping center all within walking distance.

Why the Owner Chose Kamaole Sands
It was an easy decision to buy our condos in quiet Building #1 at Kamaole Sands! The complex is truly a community of friendly faces and Hawaiian atmosphere. We instantly fell in love with Kamaole Sands when we visited Maui years ago. Although we've stayed many places on Maui, Kamaole Sands is a complex that offers the true Aloha environment that makes Kihei so special. Well kept, yet natural, tropical gardens are at the heart of the complex, a spectacular view of legendary Mt. Haleakala, family friendly grounds, well appointed BBQ areas, relaxing fountains, lovely tennis courts and a quick walk to one of the most beautiful half moon, white sand beaches on the island made us choose Kamaole Sands as a home destination. We fell in love with the sunsets, Kamaole Beach 3 (and the turtles!), the people and the grounds at Kamaole Sands. Maui presents a dry climate with plenty of sunshine, blue skies, beautiful scuba diving, snorkeling and warm water activities year around. As photographers, Maui Island panoramas equal the Caribbean destinations we also enjoy. Maui has become a big part of our Ohana!

The unit: exactly as described, large private lanai, spacious, pretty and comfortable with all amenities including towels, boogie boards and a small cooler, perfect! The grounds: beautiful, though most of our time was spent on the beach The beach: very short walk just across the street, good swimming, sunning and snorkeling (turtles!) The area: great beaches, restaurants and shopping all within walking distance Our experience: It was my 4th time to Kamaole Sands but the first time in this unit and it was my favorite so far! Ileene was very accomodating and wonderful to speak with! Thank you so much!

SEcond time in Maui, second time in this building in this complex. 1 - 201 was wonderful! Ileene was so accommodating and everything we needed was in easy reach. Love Kamaole II and III Beaches, as well as several others in the area. Boogie boarding not as good this time around due to strange trade winds that came up in afternoon and made water especially choppy, unpredictable and the beach like a sand-blaster. But in the morning, snorkeling was great. Last day, turtle swam between the two of us as we snorkeled off the lava between Kamaole II an III beaches! Swimming in the pool was a nice afternoon option. Also love hiking in Haleakala, driving to Hana, hiking up to the falls beyond Oheo Gulch, going to the Ocean Centre, seeing Io Needle, touring the Sugar Museum, taking in Ulalena in Lahaina, taking a Pacific Whale FOundation Tour to Lana'i to look for dolphins and snorkel, checking out beaches beyond Napili, hanging out at Kula Gardens. So much to do!
