You will absolutely adore our home! We fell in love with it the moment we saw it for sale and bought it on the spot! We spend July and August on the east coast so we are making our home available for you to enjoy.

Our 2000-square-foot, two-level, waterfront home is perched on a bluff above the Puget Sound with spectacular, 180-foot views of The Puget Sound, The Olympic Mountains, Mount Baker, and Admiralty Inlet - the ship channel that leads from The Strait of Juan de Fuca into the port of Seattle.

Charming downtown Edmonds is just five minutes away, as is the Edmonds Marina, The Edmonds-Kingston Ferry, and endless bike and hiking trails, public parks, shops, and restaurants. Downtown Seattle is 25 minutes away.

The view is absolutely breathtaking (picture an endless parade of sailboats, tugboats, barges, ships large and small, mountains in the background, lush vegetation everywhere, etc.), the sunsets could not be more beautiful, and there is a pair of bald eagles that live in a 120-foot-high spruce tree about three homes north of us that cruise along the coast throughout the day - amazing!

As if the view from every window was not superb enough, there is a wonderful deck outside suitable for entertaining or just indulgent relaxing. This home has beautiful native perennial landscaping and many clay pots brimming with seasonal flowers. Our circa 1940 home has been architecturally redesigned throughout and is a thoroughly tasteful blending of old-home charm and modern convenience. Large gourmet kitchen (gas stainless-steel stove, two ovens), hardwood floors, beautiful area rugs, very tasteful furnishings and linens, all new appliances, two-and-one-half baths.

  • What a comfortable home and what a splendid view! We found everything to be exactly as described in the VRBO listing---and that's saying a lot. The lovely deck, surrounded by flowering plants, enjoys a panorama from Mount Baker in the north to "The Brothers" in the snow-capped Olympics. All the west-facing windows share that same view. Sunsets over the water take your breath away. The home itself is more than just comfortable, well-appointed and well-designed. (A builder friend who visited us during our stay had nothing but praise for the recent renovation.) And then its location! Edmonds village is charming, compact and walkable, but gives easy access to both I5 (Seattle) and I405 (Bellevue). You are also close to two useful ferry crossings, to Kitsap Peninsula from Edmonds and to Whidbey Island from Mukilteo just to the north. This place is a gem. We didn't want to leave.

  • What a fantastic house! With the beautiful interior, we felt completely relaxed and at home. And the view over the Puget Sound is truly magnificent. We spent every evening outside on the lovely deck to barbecue. And we had great weather which let us enjoy watching the spectacular sunsets each night with a good bottle of local wine. We would highly recommend staying here in Edmonds!
