You will not be disappointed if you rent this cottage! Gary thought of everything to make your stay a very comfortable one. The cottage was very clean, had nice pots and pans, and a wonderful shower head! Another great reason to stay here is that it is dog friendly with a fenced-in yard out back and even a fenced-in yard out front!! The boardwalk is less than two blocks away. There are also lots of restaurants, bakeries, and shops within walking distance. Thank you, Gary, for sharing your cottage with us!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, girls getaway, pet owners, age 55+.

We have enjoyed or stay tremendously and the owners have been more than kind and so helpful. You can tell from the cottage that they spent time thinking about what people would need while they were here. Not just the usual things (we've stayed in many cabins and cottages over they years) but things to make you feel welcome. As an example, the main reason we picked this cottage is that it was dog friendly and right on the fridge is a local veterinarian's number for emergencies. Everything was sparkling clean when we came in! The area beach is small but very clean and beautiful and the bay is gorgeous. The community is very welcoming, too. There is a grocery store right down the street which is so handy for all those things you forgot to bring. The area is relatively close to Washington and many other attractions. We would return in a heartbeat!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, pet owners, age 55+.

The Seahorse Guest Cottage is wonderful! My husband, our two dogs and I stayed there for a long weekend and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. You'd be hard pressed to find a more charming, comfortable and well-equipped vacation rental -- especially within walking distance to the beach and board walk. The house is absolutely adorable. It has everything you need and is super-clean. Has a great little deck with table chairs and grill and a cute little organic garden, which guests are encouraged to use. The interior is very airy and light -- and spacious for it's size, making it easy to relax. Gary provided us with great information about the community and had great recommendations for restaurants and things to do -- he even gave us some delicious radishes from his garden! All in all, a great experience -- we'd definitely stay at the Seahorse Guest Cottage again.Recommended for: People with disabilities, sightseeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, age 55+.

From my arrival to my departure my experience was nothing but tremendous. The week before Gary, whom i spoke with on the phone, mailed me several fliers of interesting things to do in North Beach. Besides those suggestions he was helpful in suggesting interesting things to that weren't available in any Tourist packets. A long walk in Bayfront park, just south of town, was the epitome of the romantic Chesapeake in winter. Blustery shores and clear blue skies, only to return to a warm cottage for a sound nights sleep. Searching for ancient Sharks teeth at Calvert Cliffs, a bit farther south, or just walking the pier in town staring at the moon. A wonderful amount of things to do here with nothing but the most helpful hosts. I can't say enough about it.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, pet owners.
