Home in the beautiful, highly desirable village of Elk Rapids. This home is only four blocks from "downtown" River Street, where you can enjoy all of the what a small town can offer. Home is completely furnished and has a fully-equipped kitchen. Perfect for one or two families.

There are 4 bedrooms:
Bedroom 1 - Large, with king size and bunk beds.
Bedroom 2-4 are smaller with only one bed and dresser in each.
Bedroom 2 - Queen bed
Bedroom 3 - Full bed
Bedroom 4 - Twin Daybed that has trundle that pops up to make a king.

This home will sleep up to 10. The original part of the home was built in 1908 that is why some of the rooms are smaller. Total sq. ft. home is 1,400.

Enjoy the beaches on the bay, parks, shopping, restaurants, tennis courts, library, movie theater, antique malls, and two marinas. Elk Rapids is the host to many summertime fun activities like "Evenings on River Street," this is a favorite of visitors and locals. Every Wednesday (starting June 27th) from 6-9 PM for family fun, music, food, face painting, magician, etc... all taking place on the village street!

2007 Arts/crafts shows are scheduled for May 26, July 21, and August 18

Harbor Days is August 1-4, family fun carnival, crafts, fireworks, etc.

National Cherry Festival in Traverse City is: July 7th-14th.

BOATERS: Two marinas to choose from (both are within walking distance to home): The Elk Rapids Marina - for boating/fishing on Elk Lake, Torch Lake, Sgekemog Lake. Or if boating or fishing in Grand Traverse Bay is more your style, then Elk Rapid also has the Port of Elk Rapids Municipal Marina. This home has a large enough lot to park your boat and/or trailer or travel trailer. No need searching for a parking space after launching your boat.

The Elk Rapids Park is located on Grand Traverse Bay in the village (walking distance or take a bike ride there through town). Enjoy swimming, beach combing, picnicking, family reunions, and playground. Make sure to make it into the Harbor Antique Mall, it has such a quaint charm to it!
