Lovely, one bedroom Condo right on the beach. Just steps to the Gulf of Mexico with its warm healing waters, Sanibel Island is host to some of the world's most beautiful beaches and seashells along with the world class Ding Darling Wildlife Sanctuary. Enjoy a cold drink on the patio/lanai overlooking the beach, or take a dip in the nearby pool. Relax and watch TV while hearing the crashing surf. Take a bike ride or play tennis. Oceans Reach is now a "Green Resort" encouraging recycling. Sanibel Island is listed in the top 10 beaches on the Travel Channel!
Oceans Reach is a quiet family oriented resort tucked away on one of the best beaches in Sanibel. Oceans Reach is completely redone; a state of the art resort, #1 on Trip Advisor with new paver stones, new heated pool, lovely pastel colors, covered carports and tropical landscaping.
The Condo itself is brand new, having been completely rebuilt after the hurricanes of 2003!
Our ground floor condo overlooks a large expanse of the Gulf of Mexico and the beach and is steps from the white sand and pool. We can sleep four comfortably. The new Maple bedroom set boasts a king sized bed and cedar lined dresser along with a 27" High density Plasma TV. The living room has a new sleeper sofa, new lamps and wall unit along with a new 36" flat screen TV with DVD player, books, games and wireless hookup for your computer. The patio slider and windows were replaced in 2009 along with new drapes. Original artwork adorns the walls. New sleeper sofa, 2010!
The new fully equipped kitchen features granite countertops, inset lights and new stainless steel appliances including oven, range, microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven and a variety of utensils. The cozy dining area hosts designer lights and furniture from Haverty's. The porch has table and chairs overlooking the Ocean for enjoying your morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. Or relax in the living room which overlooks the Gulf of Mexico and one of Sanibel's largest expanses of beach which is just steps away. We've added some new books, and board games, cable TV of course, and wireless for your internet. Listen to the crash of the surf at night! The facilities at the resort include a gorgeous new heated pool, outdoor BBQ grills, shuffleboard, tennis and basketball, and bicycles available for rental.

Why the Owner Chose Ocean's Reach
We purchased this condo because it is closer to the beach than any other resort on the island! We intended to redo it over a period of years, but after the devastating hurricanes of 2005, were forced to completely rebuild using granite in the kitchen, replacing all furniture, electronics, appliances, etc. The only thing not needing replacing was the gorgeous view and proximity to the beach...
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
You cannot get any closer to the beach on World Famous Sanibel Island, the resort is basically brand new, the staff are excellent, the place is spotless! Our condo is steps to the sand, and minutes away to wonderful shopping, fine restaurants, Ding Dalling Wildlife Refuge, Captiva Island. The condo has a large view of the Gulf of Mexico with miles of beach to explore heading north and south. Oceans Reach has completely rebuilt from the ground up in 2005 after Hurricane Charlie devastated the island. Originally built in the 1970's Oceans Reach was redesigned using local materials, paver stones, pastel colors and lovely greenery to supplement to local flora. It is now number one on trip adviser, and we have one of the top rental units at the resort. Our condo was completely redone, and is a quiet, restful romantic get away. We live in Maryland, fell in love with Sanibel years ago. The lovely quiet Gulf of Mexico and the long sandy shell filled beaches always restore a sense of wonder and youth in everyone. Ocean's Reach Condo 3X1 was absolutely the best condo we have ever rented for a Florida vacation. Location within the complex was perfect - a direct, unobstructed view of the beach and surf, a quick walk to the beautiful pool, and very close to the assigned parking space and bikes. If you choose this condo, you will NOT be disappointed, as we think it is one of the finest on the beach.

We have just returned from 2 weeks and had a wonderful time. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we truly relaxed. Fishing was great in the surf and shelling was also. Thank you for sharing your home, I would recommend it to anyone.
