We rented this cabin for 3 nights during the Christmas holiday. The cabin is small, but it's perfect for a small family of 4 like ours to enjoy a few days of a relaxing vacation. It is clean, and well stocked with small things to make it feel like a home. It is close to Green Valley Lake, and we enjoyed a nice long walk around the frozen lake, playing snow ball fights along the way. It's about 15 minutes drive to Snow Valley ski resort, which is a small, less crowded resort. We skiied there 2 days, and the kids enjoyed their skiing lessons. In the evening, we cooked dinner in the kitchen (the owner kindly stocked the kitchen with everything you will need, except food, which is very appreciated), played games, and watched movies. Great experience, and I highly recommend it!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, adventure seekers.

This cabin is cozy and well equipped. The spiral staircase and loft are a hit with the kids. The owners keep it in very cood condition. I love sitting on the front patio and watching the sunset. The owners are very responsive and helpful. Our family has stayed twice now.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

We stayed at this place and loved it because it was so close to so many of the attractions in the mountains: Arrowhead, all Big Bear Skiing, hiking and mountain biking. The facility is clean and comfortable. The photos are accurate representations of what the place is really like.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers.

This special "retreat" cabin is PERFECT for the young family, couple, or even an individual getaway. The ability to enjoy this mountain experience, with the lake right down the street, at an affordable price, is a terrific bargain.
