Do you want an affordable Gulf front vacation with great amenities at low prices? Our Condo is for you! With comfy furniture, an new flatscreen tv, and decorated with tasteful nautical decor throughout, our oceanfront corner unit has panoramic views of the beach and Gulf. There is NOTHING between you and the water... Dig your toes into the sugar white sand and relax, or play in the pool! (Heated March-November) This is nicer and more affordable than a hotel!
The corner unit has three extra windows so you have a 180 degree view of the beach and Gulf, from the comfort of your sofa. (Once you step into a corner unit, you won't be able to go back to an interior one! And don't be fooled, only corner units on the 4th, 5th and 6th floors have extra windows...) You can also sit on the private balcony and watch for a glimpse of the dolphins playing in the waves.
Perfect for families and affordable for couples, this one bedroom unit is loaded with extras to make your stay enjoyable. My husband and I have two children so we know how to make a place "kid friendly". We have put a lot of thought into setting up the Condo and have two TV's, DVD players, stereo, Playstation with games, dvd library, board games, beach chairs, beach umbrella, and sand toys there for you to use. Of course there is also a fully equipped kitchen and washer/dryer if you need them!
The layout is great for kids. There is a bunk area and dresser in the hallway (my kids love the bunks!) that can be totally shut off from the rest of the unit. There is a door to the private bedroom with a king bed, and a pocket door between the bunk area and living area. Why pay for a two bedroom place, when all you really want is a place where you can put the kids to bed and close a door?!
Emerald Skye is a low density building (only 36 units) so the beach in front doesn't get jam-packed like it does in front of some of those giant high-rises. There is an elevator, covered picnic area, and an outdoor heated pool. Extra storage lockers on the ground floor give you a place to stash sand-covered stuff on your way to and from the beach.
If you aren't familiar with Orange Beach, it is an awesome location. We have a little library of guidebooks and area information in the Condo for you to use. You can golf, shop, parasail, bike and hike in the state park, eat at great restaurants, go to the Blue Angel Museum or the Battleship (getting tired yet?) or you can hang out on the beach all day, and have pizza delivered in at night. The choice is yours!

The Unique Benefits at this Condo
We love the beach, at any time of year. We love watching for dolphins and see them most every day playing around the pier. I am an amatuer photographer, and I am up at sunrise every day taking pictures...My children and husband are tolerant about my photo shoots, as long as I don't expect them to wake up early or pose! Shopping, siteseeing, and eating out are always fun, but for us, it is all about the beach.

My husband and I purchased the condo when we lived in Daphne, Alabama. Unfortunately, work took us away and we live in chilly Ohio now... We go down to the condo several time a year with our two children and I enjoy painting and decorating to keep things looking good!

My husband, son and I truly enjoyed the condo and the OUT OF THIS WORLD view to the beach. The pier, although not belonging to the condo, has beautiful lights that is so breath-taking at night. The condo was just right for our small family of three. It was nice and quiet and beautiful during our November stay. Since after this visit my son is steady on asking to come back....and we looking forward to it - if God is willing. :)

We stayed at the condo during the last part of August 2011. The location was great!! Beautiful beachfront views, beautiful sunrise views looking down the beach from inside dining area, close to grocery store, ice cream :), Gulf State park, Doc-in-the-Box, Great Seafood restaurants, etc. Clean beach area with sparkling water and white sands! The condo was perfect for our family (including toddler). Clean condo interior -- pictures accurately reflect the rental's appearance and amenities. Owner was very helpful and kind throughout the rental process. Will definitely seek renting this condo again in the future when visiting the Orange Beach area.

We enjoyed our short vacation to Orange Beach--the condo was comfortable and had everything we needed. The views from the balcony were wonderful-- a perfect place to watch the sunrise. Great access to a beautiful, uncrowded beach. We are already looking forward to our next visit!!

We just got home today from a great vacation. The condo was perfect and the view from the balcony was beautiful. You have to see the pier at night with all the lights! My wife is legally blind with limited vision so it was important to stay at condo that would be comfortable and convenient to the beach ,pool, shopping and restaurants. We will definitely be back! We've been married 22 years today!

We had a fabulous stay at Emerald Skye. The room very neat and clean! The extras were wonderful...iron and ironing board, hair dryer, shed FULL of sand and water toys, etc. We definitely plan on returning to Orange Beach and would stay in this condo again. After a week we were not ready to leave! Thank you so much for sharing your condo with us!

The condo is a great size. I have 2 kids: a 3 yr old boys and a 5 yr old girl and this condo fit us perfectly. It was decorated very nicely. The views are spectacular. It was great to not have to lug everything for miles to go to the beach and with 2 kids I sure ya'll know what I mean. Janet was awesome to deal. Everything was taking care of. All we had to do was come and play. The only negative comment I have is that to be prepared when you go. The main bedroom is next to the door. Meaning that people going up and down the stars will bug you in the middle of the night. But the solution to that is to turn the air on and it will drown out some of the noise. We went the week of Labor Day weekend and some of the other guest were a little young and alcohol was involved. Other than a couple of loud neighbors. This condo was just tooo perfect for words. I enjoyed sitting on the balcony and drinking a cup of coffee. My kids would stay out there for hours watching the machines comb the beaches. It is close to everything!!! Thank you sooo much :)

My husband and our 3 year old daughter just got back from this Gulf Shores property. Janet made things extremely easy when we booked the trip and once we got there we were very pleased with the unit. It had everything we needed and was just the right size for our family. For the price you cannot beat the views and access to the beach. Would definitely rent this condo again.

My family and I stayed at the Resus's condo from May 28-May31. The place was decorated wonderfully and we were able to see the Dolphins from the balconey. The Master bed was very comfortable and my kids loved the bunkbeds. I will be certainly be renting with the Resus's again

My husband & I stayed at this condo in June 2010 for a weekend getaway. We absolutely loved it! It is right on the beach, very comfortable, nicely decorated, and close to everything! You're within a minute drive to groceries, restaurants, shopping, and pharmacies. The owners are super nice and easy to get in touch with. The property's elevator is pretty slow, but the unit is right by the stairs as well. Also, the downstairs storage unit is a definite plus! We will definitely stay again!
