This is a three story villa in a gated community of 14 villas. Casa Maya is surrounded by lush green tropical vegetation facing a large pool and courtyard. On the first floor, there is a wonderful gourmet kitchen with exotic handcrafted cabinets and a breakfast island with a stove and natural stone countertops! A good size living room with entertainment center which looks out at a private green lush courtyard, there is also a 1/2 bathroom downstairs. One person can sleep on the couch.
On the second floor there are two bedrooms, both with private bathrooms, sharing a beautiful balcony overlooking the large pool and courtyard. The master bedroom has double natural stone sinks.
On the balcony, there is a spiral staircase leading to the third floor. This is an open 750 square foot outdoor space with a massive and impressive 20-foot high Palapa roof. The view from the third floor overlooks the courtyard and pool and you can see forever over the top of the jungle trees.
You can spend the cooler nights under the towering Palapa, lying on the hammock under the dark skies, gazing at the bright moon and giant stars, you will feel like you can just reach out and grab them. A time and feeling you will never forget.
Morning will come and you will feel as if you just had the best night sleep ever! Then, your next adventure will begin, if you so choose, with a true authentic Mexican breakfast and an early morning swim in the beautiful pool nestled in a magical tropical courtyard. At that time you will feel you have just found paradise and you haven't even left Casa Maya.
It only takes a seven-minute drive to the beach. You will pass a tropical jungle and a little village. At the ocean, you will be overcome with peace and tranquility. After the sun sets, you may decide to dine at one of the many fine oceanside seafood restaurants and watch the moon reflecting in the tranquil Caribbean waters, listening to the sounds of the rolling waves.
A Trip Back in Time
You now plan a day trip back in time; to the ancient ruins of the Mayan. You hike into the jungle and climb a pyramid in the Yucatan as you listen to a local Mayan guide tell you stories of his ancestors. While following the steps of the ancient ones, you will start to feel a spiritual connection to the past. At this point you will carry this life changing experience forever.
Your next adventure; you rappel into a cave with an underground river; this is called Cenote, you then snorkel through that cave astonished as you observe ancient formations of stalagmites and stalactites that live and breath, you would have never seen this awesome sight if you wouldn’t have taken that one step off the edge of the cliff and rappel into that cave. Another unforgettable adventure.
It will be your choice what you want to do on your Tulum adventure, the list of things is endless. It’s your time to live your dream.
In Tulum village you can find anything, from grocery stores, gas stations, money exchange facilities, three banks, a wonderful transportation system like a bus station, cabs and combies at very reasonable prices, and SAFE!, you can find handcrafts, and restaurants offering any type of exquisite international dishes to Mexican and Mayan fresh fish dining. Our favorite restaurant is EL Camello; just a three minute walk from Casa Maya.
After all that, now you can head back to Casa Maya and relax and get ready for another day.
So, if this sounds like an adventure you would like to do, just pick a week, make the reservation and come on over. Let us be the beginning of your unforgettable adventure. You will be back year after year. Looking forward to having you at Casa Maya Tulum. Mi Casa es su Casa (My home is your home).

Well appointed, convenient, lovely condo just outside the pueblo. Will stay there again. Clean space, plenty of room and authentic Mexican feel.

Owner response: Thanks to Sandi for her kind words we are happy she enjoyed her stay, We really think that Casa Maya speeks for its self. Tulum is a magical place and Casa Maya shares that feeling. It is a place and feeling you bring home with you and you can't wait to return. There are a lot of things to do in the Yucatan you can be running all day but the nice thing is when you come back home for the night you can completly relax in a nice quiet secure place and excape from the outside world. Come to Casa Maya Tulum we will leave the light on for you. Dave and Judy
