The log cabin is clean and very well set up. Great for a get-together with our grandkids, daughter and her special guy. Very private; plus, the ponds and scenery are spectacular. If you need more room, bring a camper (electric outlets across from the cabin), or pitch a dozen tents.... Yes, there is plenty of room for extra accomodations if needed. The Penn's Country Ham store sells their own hams, sausage, bacon, etc. And, it is really top quality. Everyone around there is helpful and friendly. These are nice people, which of course made our stay even more enjoyable. All in all. This is a great place to stay. Highly recommended!

Lovely place for some girl time with my mother and three daughters (we didn't mind sharing the one bath). Since it was early December we kept the fireplace going and were well-supplied with firefwood. The location is beautiful, the cabin was very clean, and the owner helpful. We particularly appreciated being able to bring along Waldo, my 100-pound Bouvier des Flandres -- he loved it!

About the owner: The cabin has been in my family since it was built in the 1800's, and it is located on the family farm. After restoring the cabin, I decided to share the peace and relaxation I find within it with others.
Why the Owner Chose Green River Lake:
Although the cabin does not include many of the modern devices such as; telephone, internet and television, this is what I find so special about it. Some may call it roughing it, I call it a retreat away from almost everything.
