  My husband and I just returned from spending a much needed weekend together. We loved everything about the cabin. It is beautiful, quiet and very clean. Thank you to the Parker's for sharing their wonderful cabin.

  My husband and I just returned from a quick weekend get away at the Nuthouse. The cabin so charming and we both loved the beuatiful pine floors. If you are looking to relax and decompress this is the place.

  Nuthouse is a great place to get away & relax. We had forgotten had beautiful Northeast Alabama is, but we caught up in the few days we had there. The cabin is very comfortable, with scenic surroundings. Nuthouse is very well furnished & ready for occupancy. We really enjoyed the hiking trails, with the wild turkeys crossing our path. Deer wandered up the hill behind the cabin on a couple of days; the views were both stunning and calming. There's lots of places to visit nearby: Mentone, Ft. Payne, DeSoto State Park & the Falls, Little River Canyon; we even discovered the Unclaimed Baggage Outlet in Scottsboro, about 40 minutes from the cabin. We'd like to visit again, maybe in the Fall sometime, to catch all the colors.

  My husband and I and our two kids took our first family vacation to Mentone and our stay at the Nut House made the trip! The cabin is so cozy and clean. The view is beautiful as well as the hiking trail right out the front door. We were extremely pleased with our visit and hope to be back soon! I am recommending it to all my friends.

  My husband and I stayed in this cabin a couple of times. We really loved the peace and quiet as well as the beauty surrounding this home. If anyone is looking for a relaxing getaway this is the place to be. It is absolutley breath taking especially in the fall and winter which we have stayed during both times. It's very well kept and beautifully furnished. You won't be wasting your money if you choose to stay here. My husband and I are looking forward to returning to stay again in the winter. We really enjoyed how polite the owners are of this home as well. Thanks again to the owners, sincerely Stacey and Adam Blocker

  My husband and I spent 4 days at this cabin in October, 2011. We really enjoyed our time there. The cabin is well-furnished and very clean and comfortable. We took several long walks on the trail that starts near the end of the driveway. Along the trail the forest is lovely, the trail follows along a creek bed and has interesting rock formations and some beautiful old trees. The cabin is also conveniently located close to Desoto State Park and the quaint shops in Mentone.
