When i came to Italy for the first time I stayed at Fontanaro. Here I was able to enjoy the country side of Italy, which was much calmer then staying in a major city such as Florence or Rome. Even though I didn't stay in a major city I was still able to see them because Fontanaro is only ten minutes from the train station in which I was able to travel all over Italy. Here the hospitality was amazing the best I have ever had anywhere I have stayed. Also the food was amazing because it is all natural, and here on the property there is an organic garden that is used in all the food. Also every night in town there is something going on' such as on the first night I was here I saw a Russian ballet. Even on the property there are many things to do such as the swimming pool. All the rooms are kept very clean and mine even had its own kitchen. I would recommend staying here to anyone.

All you can desire to fully experience the Italian country side...great location with beautiful views of rolling hills but also close to anything Umbria and Tuscany have to offer, quiet and relaxing, spacious rooms, clean and well mantained house with modern amenities and impeccable hospitality (the owners speak fluent english), huge infinity pool, wine cellar, manicured garden...and more! Went there with my wife, can't wait to go back with the kids! Tip: Don't miss the nearby outlet mall of high end italian fashion brands (Prada among others).
