My boyfriend and I spent one week at this lovely cabin and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is nicer in person than it appears in the photos. It was perfectly clean, very comfortable, and well appointed with tasteful and comfortable decor. The secluded location is perfect if you want to get away and enjoy some peace and quiet. The view from the front porch and front windows is wonderful and the surroundings are incredibly peaceful. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and the house is set up for relaxation. This home is perfect for a romantic getaway or a small family/friends trip. If we want to stay in that general area, we would definitely return again and stay at this property. It is about twenty minutes from the south side of Great Smoky Mountain National Park and the Blue Ridge Parkway, which is where we spent most of our time. It was a good base for exploration of these areas. The wifi did not work consistently but the owner addressed it immediately when I let her know. The road up to the property is also very steep. It was fine during nice weather but might be challenging during the winter or a storm. I would have liked a little more information about the surrounding area (like the waterfall and trout pond that are mentioned in the property description, for example) as other VRBO owners have provided in the materials available in their homes. Aside from these small things, this was a wonderful experience and we highly recommend staying at this home.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

We stayed in this cabin for almost 2 weeks and were extremely satisfied with it. Pictures/descriptions are exactly as cabin was found - very clean and well-maintained. We had 2 people but there's plenty of room for at least 4 more. Cabin is near top of a mountain and has a great view, very private. It's 5 minutes from downtown Dillsboro, 5 minutes from Sylva, and 15 minutes from the Harrah's Cherokee casino. We drove to Mingo Falls and enjoyed seeing the 100+ft waterfall. Enjoyed great food in Dillsboro and Sylva, and walking/shopping around downtown Waynesville. This cabin is just a few minutes from the highway (but you can't see/hear it) which is great for access/traveling. The king bed was great as was the nice shower. Bathroom was stocked with helpful items in case you forgot something. There's a big TV with DirecTV if you have to catch a game. Kitchen has nice appliances and is fully stocked with pots/pans/utensils needed to cook. Very impressed with this cabin, it's obvious the owners have put thought into it. Would recommend and would rent again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We loved the cabin and the towns of Dillsboro & Sylva near by. Cabin was very clean and had very nice appliances, plenty of dishes and linens, and we felt at home right away. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Two Bedrooms and a loft with a couch bed could sleep 6 comfortably no doubt. We had a great view from the front porch, and after a short hike, we were able to look over the small towns near by. Roads were paved all the way to cabin, some pretty steep areas, but we never needed 4wd. They will have plowers come if you get snowed in also. Very pleased with our stay, we will be back!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

As Advertised!! All amenities were in perfect working order. Ideal for 2 or 4 people, but will sleep six. This cabin is a real treat for those wanting to get away for a fews days from the hustle and bustle of city life. It is perfectly located for day trips to all the local attractions that the western North Carolina mountains have to offer. The home was very clean and well-appointed for all of your needs. It is situated close to a ridge, that after a short hike, allows you to overlook the towns of Sylva and Dillsboro. The cabin is positioned in a private gated community about 1000 feet above the valley and the views are wonderful. We suggest shopping on main street in Sylva and in downtown Waynesville, just 20 minutes away. While there, we suggest that you eat at the Sweet Onion. Awesome food. The road up the mountain is a bit steep but well paved. Finally, the owner is very conscientious. Your satisfaction is her utmost concern.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

From the highway, up the mountain, to the nicest, cleanest, cabin you will find. Every expectation we derived from the listing we found to be valid - remote location, privacy, convenience for day trips to Ashville, Cherokee, Bryson City, Sylva, Franklin, and other scenic spots. Travel along the Blue Ridge Parkway, making stops and enjoying the amazing views. The amenities provided all the comfort and convenience we needed. Everything was there. The WI/FI was a great idea - a way to stay in contact with the "outside world". All considered after our two week stay, we recommend this property as a place for anyone with expectations as we had.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Just as you stated it was a, "Heavenly Mountain Heritage Escape." Sittting way up on the mountain, the cabin is a perfect combination of beauty and comfort. From early morning until evening, the view is breathtaking. A marvelous place to rest, read, meditate, and enjoy the peace. If you're in the mood for some excitement, Cherokee is only a hop and a skip away. It's a fantastic place to visit even if you don't want to gamble at Harrah's. Maggie Valley ,Gatlinburg, and the Biltmore Estate are also close. Go and lose yourself in a Heavenly escape.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway.
