The best thing about our little home is the location! Gated comunity, 10 minute walk to the best Caribbean beaches in Mexico, restaurants, bars, marina, diving, golf, fishing, you name it! 10 minute drive to the impressive Xcaret park, and 20 minute drive to Playa del Carmen (booming destination) and 80 min drive to Cancun. The best thing about our little home is the location! 5 minute walk to the best Caribbean beaches in Mexico, restaurants, bars, marina, diving, golf, fishing, you name it! 10 minute drive to the impressive Xcaret park, and 20 minute drive to Playa del Carmen (booming destination) and 80 min drive to Cancun. Our place is simple but comfortable, a KING size bed in the main area and a secondary QUEEN size (if more than 2) by the entrance, LCD TV with satellite tv (hbo, cinemax), dvd player, Wifi and PC available (upon request). The living/dining room seats 4 for dinner and has a nice couch to read, or watch tv. We have a nice terrace with palms overlooking the pool area and faiurway which is full of palm trees and lots of birds. It has a full kitchen, gas stove and oven as well as a microwave, coffee maker, electric mini oven, fridge w/freezer and basic cooking tools are available. In total around 70 square meters or 700 sqf, our home is NOT on the beach front, its a 5 min walk to it trough the same access street where the condo is, which is a cul-de-sac with very little local traffic.

The beach is awesome, lots of activities like diving, snorkeling, golf, fishing, clubing, great nightlife 20 min away in playa del carmen, lots of mayan archeological sites around, eco-parks, a million restaurants along the coast from cancun to tulum.

The Puerto Aventuras Resort is a special oasis in Mexico's Riviera Maya. The area is rich in Mayan culture. The Mayan ruins of Tulum and Mayan culture shows are a must see. The area attractions located just minutes away include the parks Xel-ha and Xcaret. Playa de Carmen, just a ten minute drive, offers abundant night-life and shopping. The brilliant white sand beaches and dazzling multi-colored ocean waters of Xpuha Beach another nearby beach offers beach clubs with water sports, restaurants and more.

I stayed here Jan and Feb/11. It was very clean and the owner was immediately available to answer any questions or concerns I had. The pool and grounds are immaculate and quiet. It is a 10 to 15 min walk to the village, restaurants, the dolphins and the beach.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.
