  Our family loved this location. The balcony was perfect for morning breakfasts and watching the sunset. Quiet, clean and very comfortable. We cannot wait to return. Thank you so much for making your home available. Lovely!

  I can't imagine anyone not having a fabulous time in Maui and the Kaanapali Villas were an excellent home away from home. The property was immaculate and the staff were warm, friendly and helpful. We were in Maui for our daughter's wedding so there were almost 30 friends and relatives staying at the Kaanapali Villas. With the extra large balcony, Room 203 was perfect for small gatherings and fun for the grandchildren. We spent a lot of time in the main pool - the shallow end was great for playing with the grandkids and the deep end with hot tub was just right for the adults. We never did swim at the property's beach. We did a lot of snorkelling and that was better a short walk to either side of the property and at Honolua Bay. Our only criticism of Room 203 was the old wallpaper that clearly showed the shape of the old bed headboards (this certainly didn't affect our enjoyment of the room). A salad bowl and teapot added to the kitchen amenities would be a nice touch. We would definitely recommend this property and would be happy to return ourselves.

  We had the most wonderful time at the Maui Ka'anapali Villas. The condo was beautiful and relaxing. The decor was wonderful. We loved the custom floor tile of the sea turtle and whales as well as the pineapple tile in shower. The lanai had extrodinary views of the mountains, the resort and the ocean. The resort grounds were abosolutely wonderful as well as all the people who worked at the resort and the guests. Everyone was so friendly. The beach pool was so enjoyable. The beach at the resort was our favorite of the Ka'anapali area with a gently slope into the ocean with clear blue warm water. There is a reef next to the resort (north side) with lots of opportunity to see fish while you snorkle and although we did not have a chance to snorkle at Black Rock (just a little south) we were told the snorkling is amazing there too. The sunsets were amazing! It is just a short drive south to Lahaina for shopping or sightseeing and just a little north is Kapalua and Honolua Bay. We stayed at another larger resort just north on our last two days of our vacation in Maui but the beach there had a steep drop off and a lot more people. We all agreed that we should have booked our entire stay at your place instead. We most definately will return and make sure we spend our entire stay at you condo. We can't thank you enough!

  We were very impressed with our accommodations. The condo was very spacious for the four of us. The condo looks just like the pictures the owner posted of the property. It was nice to see boogie boards in the room, plus the chair to take down to the beach. We kept the windows and back sliding doors open almost the whole time we were there. The trade winds kept it nice and cool. The beach was wonderful also. It was never crowded. If we ever get a chance to go back to Maui, we will stay here again.

  Maui Kaanapali Villas are extremely convenient. Walking distance to Whalers Village and right on a beautiful beach. Our condo was very nice- recently remodeled and spacious. Would have liked a bit more privacy on the patio, but other than that, would highly recommend!

  Owner response: Thanks, glad you enjoyed our Maui condo home! The lanais in this part of the resort are quite large and are not separated from the "neighbor" lanais by walls, but by planters. When you step outside onto the lanai, it is quite open and you have a wide view. You can see the West Maui mountains to the east and the ocean to the west.

  This condo is decorated classic island style, clean, spacious with very comfortable beds and a huge lanai. The complex is beautiful, there was always staff cleaning, watering plants and washing the building areas and although it is an older building, it certainly never felt it. We travelled with a large group and some of the other rooms were definitely not as modern and nice as this one! Ten minute drive to Lahaina which was fun to walk around, eat and shop (the vibe reminded us of Key West), then back to the condo for a nap on the lanai...life is good here! It definitely felt like a resort, with the beach right beside us (not across a highway like in Kihei). We did our basic grocery shopping at the Times grocery store (two lights north on the highway) or Safeway in Lahaina, no shortage of amenities in the area. Hotel check-in and out was pleasant, as was making the arrangements with Janice. We went to Waikiki for a few days after Maui, and that was a real shock, I guess we didn't realize how much we had de-stressed in Maui! Thank you Janice, and hope to return one day. Mahalo

  I can't even think of anything negative about this condo and the Aston Kaanapali Villas. In fact we love it so that we arranged to have a realtor show us an available unit for purchase before we left. We definitely will be coming back for many years!

  We had a lovely time. The resort is beautifully kept and the ocean is amazing. We rented a cabana for the entire week and really enjoyed the convenience of not having to take chairs and an umbrella down with us. See Ricardo at the beach rental desk. He was so accomodating and friendly! The front desk staff was accomodating but not really the friendliest. We were not even asked how our stay was upon check-out. It was a shame that the resort fee did not cover printing services for boarding passes. Had to pay extra to get on the computer kiosk and extra to print the passes. The room was really nicely kept, however, we had to wash all the dishes when we got there as we found residue on almost all the plates and cups. It would be nice to have larger bowls for cereal. The lanai was great, but as we got the sun during the day, it would have been nice to have an umbrella attached to the table and chairs. Overall, we had a nice visit and will be coming back. Thank you!

  Aloha Janice, We just rented your suite from March 11th to 22nd. We wanted to let you know we thought it was great, and had a marvelous time. Great layout, nicely decorated, and perfect size for the 4 of us. This was our 2nd time back to MKV, and for sure is our favorite spot in Kaanapali. Thanks again Best Nicholas & Nicola

  GREATcondo in a GREAT location with a GREAT swimming beach in front. Wonderful restaurants and shopping within walking distance, tennis courts next door. The condo was spacious, very clean and beautifully decorated. Everything about the condo and property was relaxing, can't wait to go back!
