  We stayed at this apartment Oct, 2011 and were very pleased as it was just as described (not always the case in other apartments we've rented) and all appliances, waterworks etc were in working order with information clearly stated on how to use the appliances. We also really liked the free phone service to North America! The owner's representative was there to meet us, on time, both coming and going, which was important as we were leaving quite early to catch a train. The Rambuteau metro area is well known to us from other stays in the area - it has all the amenities needed including many excellent restaurants, boulangeries, boucheries, wine stores, etc. all within a short walk. It was nice to be near the Pompidou Centre and within an easy walk to Notre Dame. We were very happy with our stay here, and would certainly recommend it to a friend or relative. Thanks for the helpful and professional treatment we received.

  I booked this apartment on very short notice and both the owner and manager were very accommodating. Their laidback approach made for a relaxing stay. The apartment is exactly as described in the description and pictures, and was very spacious for an apartment in Paris. It was also in a great location, just around the corner from the metro and close to streets such as Rambuteau and Montorgueil where you could get great fresh produce. I cooked all my meals in the apartment, even though there were several restaurants close-by. Would be a great place to stay for a couple or for friends who are doing a Paris getaway (the couch was very comfortable too!)

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

  We were the first to stay in this apartment after renovation, and we liked it. The location is just perfect, close to metro and all the major sites. All furniture is brand-new and very elegant; the apartment has all appliances in perfect order; WiFi and telephone with free calls to US and most other destinations; apartment has everything that you need, even Paris guidebooks. The owner and the host were extremely helpful and pleasant (thanks!) For the sake of completeness I need to point out some things to keep in mind: - this is indeed the fourth floor without an elevator so it may not be right for old people of people with disabilities. - the apartment has no air conditioner and this is a city; being from a suburb, we found it difficult to sleep with open windows. When windows are closed, they keep the noise out.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.
