We just got back from a week at Daytona Beach Resort. The condo was perfect for 2 people for a short stay. The condo supplied us with everything we needed. It was exactly as was described in the VRBO listing. The condo and whole resort was very clean. Staff on resort extremely nice. We loved the huge balcony, perfect spot for coffee in the morning. The location was perfect, with the beach at our feet, we even got some exercice while going for nice long walks on the beach. Pools very clean with nice water temperature. Resort located accross the street from groceries, pharmacy and other shopping... Plenty of restaurants very near. Very nice stay, thank you to Vita who was a great help in organising our stay.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.

We loved the studio, very clean, well supplied, beautiful view of the ocean and pool and it was reasonably priced. We loved the corner room, with an ocean view from both windows. What a view from the bed! We enjoyed eating breakfast on the balcony. The beach and pool were great. The location was perfect, lots of good restaurants within walking distance, and a Publix right down the street. Don't miss the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse and Hidden Treasure Grill, which was lots of fun. We would definitely rent the studio again.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.

my wife and I rented this" little piece of heaven" for our 39th wedding anniversary back in October 2012--even though- Hurricane Sandy came through at the same time it was still wonderful--an incredible view with a huge balcony--everything furnished--huge parking deck--very friendly staff-very helpful--plenty within walking distance that you would ever need--2 huge pools outside--one inside--a kids pool--dining--nice bar inside and outside--great employees--it just doesn't get any better than this place-easy drive from Atlanta --easy to find--wish we lived there !!--we have already booked for this year anniversary--will try our best to stay here as much as possible in the future--can't say enough about it--you must try it at least once--Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

My hubby and I stayed in this unit for our 30th anniversary. We had, literally, the time of our lives...no exaggeration. The condo is a corner unit with the most expansive views I've ever seen. We laid in our bed and all we could see was ocean. It felt like we were on a cruise ship. From our unit, we saw every face of the beach--beautiful sunsets, misty morning fog, one wild thunderstorm, and of course beautiful sunny days. The grocery is right across the street--so convenient. The front staff at the resort was very helpful--stored our bicycles in a room off the lobby so we wouldn't have to take them up the elevator into the unit. The resort is a classy, upscale development. We rented from Vita--so thoughtful--on our arrival she wished us a happy anniversary and told us to call her if we had problems/questions. There were none of either : ) On our anniversary, we rode our bicycles 15 miles ON THE BEACH to Ponce Inlet, climbed the lighthouse, sneaked a small bottle of champagne up (shhh--that our secret), and toasted our 30 years together at the top of the lighthouse. We climbed down and rode the 15 miles back to DBR. Didn't even realize til we got back home that we biked 30 miles on our 30th anniversary!!! How perfect is that? We drove the scenic loop--beautiful--we went to the wild bird rehab center and saw the most amazing birds--eagles, owls, herons, storks--awesome. We walked the deck through the mangroves to the observation deck--breathtaking.The price is unbelievable for such a great unit--clean, modern, romantic...I could go on and on, but long story short--stay here, you will have the time of your lives, too. Thank you, Vita...WE WILL BE BACK!!!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway.

Came here based on the pictures on the Homeaway site. I have become very skeptical about very how things are represented on the internet. The ocean is the main decor as there are windows on both sides to bring the water view into the unit. The decor is very pleasing in ocean blues and greens. Everything was clean and like new. There was everything we needed to stay for 10 days, and any time we needed anything, we just went across the street to the shopping plaza. We wanted a lazy vacation where we could do a lot of reading and writing. It was so handy to have instant connection to wi-fi on our Ipad and laptop. We keep talking about coming back to this very private corner unit. Suggestion: Fly into one airport and leave from another. Flew into Orlando and saw a few sites there. Flew out of Jacksonville and hit St. Augustine on the way up. You can also fly into Daytona Beach on limited carriers.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

The room was beautiful! The pictures are exactly as the room looks. Plenty of towels, kitchenware, and the view was incredible. You can watch the sunrise from your balcony and the cool breeze off the ocean is perfect. Owner is easy to work with. I'm very picky and dont like false advertisement, if you are the same then this is the room for you. Great hotel, good for family or couples.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Often, when you rent something on the internet, the pictures are deceptive. The owner may take photos from another part of the resort or describe an ocean view where there are obstacles in the way or you have to stand near the window to see anything. The views are amazing from this corner unit. There is a water view on two sides from almost anywhere in this clean, bright unit. We noticed that it had an unusually large private balcony compared to the other units. We spent mornings having coffee and watching the morning walkers, bikers go by. We would stay here again. The pictures don't do it justice. Request this unit!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had a wonderful time at this absolutely beautiful condo / resort hotel. The condo has a spectacular view of the ocean. The balcony was much larger than most of the other rooms at the hotel. Having the kitchen in the room was a big plus. The hotel itself has several pools right on the ocean. It really felt like home!Recommended for: Families with young children, girls getaway.
