  The Ahwatukee suburb of Phoenix is clean and relatively quiet. All the amenities one needs such as restaurants, groceries and shopping are a short drive or within walking distance. The property is well maintained and the condo is fully equipped with full service for eight in flatware, glasses etc. The owners, Craig and Suzanne are very helpful with any concerns one might have. The wi-fi, entertainment system and printer all work just by following Craig's folder of instructions. This is a great condo to travel to nearby Phoenix attractions. For hiking, South Mountain trailheads are ten minutes away. For cyclists, bike lanes are everywhere for road bikes and for mountain cyclists, the trails are close enough to ride to from the condo. This unit is also close to a gas grill located a few steps away at the hot tub spa. This was a great asset for us. I would recommend this condo for two people for long stay vacations. It is clean and well maintained and worked perfectly for us. We would not hesitate to rent this unit again on a return visit.

  There is nothing nicer than being away from home and feeling that you are at home. Everything has been thought of and provided in this beautiful Ahwatukee condo. The property is accurately depicted in the listing by the photos and the description. The location is close to shops, restaurants and South Mountain which is a great spot for hiking. The owner couldn't have been nicer or more helpful and provided a basket full of activity ideas and a binder with complete condo information. I would definitely recommend this property for an enjoyable stay while visiting Phoenix. We will definitely be in touch with the owner if our future traavel plans include Phoenix.

  We have been staying in Phoenix for a month each fall for five years now. We have rented apartments from N Downtown area to Ahwatukee - and this is the best yet! The apartment is very well furnished qand equiped. There was nothing we needed that wasn't there. The quality of everything was top drawer. Very convenient for shopping (walking distance). We used the smaller of the two gyms available and everything was in good working order with very few users. The owner, Craig phoned soon after our arrival (to make sure we had everything) and again just before checkout (to ask if we had suggestions for improvements), Computer connections were flawless with ethernet and wi-fi options and a printer provided. The TV has a good range of channels and a video hard disk recorder that is easy to use. Excellent rent. Will certainly use it again.

  Portofino Condominiums are a wonderful place to stay in Ahwatukee and Craig and Suzanne's condo is no exception. It is as pictured and perfect for a couple although it can sleep 4. The kitchen is well stocked with small appliances, pots and pans, dishes and glassware, as well as a broad selection of spices. I appreciated the broadband connection as well as wi-fi, and TV watchers would appreciate the extensive cable availability as well as a DVR. Having local phone service was also a plus. Craig supplies an information packet when you rent that was very helpful within the condo as well as the neighborhood. He was very responsive to any questions I had during my stay and called to make sure everything was working properly. I highly recommend this property.

  We had a wonderful stay while here in the Phoenix area during the month of March 2012. This condo is located in the Ahwatukee area of Phoenix and all the amenities (restraunts, shoping, hiking, bike trails and golf) that a person could want is in close proximity to the condo. The condo was great - beautifully furnished (flat TV, DVR, Blue Ray, I pod dock and internet) and well equiped with towells, kitchenware, cooking utensils and cutlery. The owners were most helpful and very responsive during the rental process and even followed up with us several times during our stay to ensure everything was what we expected and to see that everything was going well for us. What great owners they are. We would highly recommend this condo unit and would definately stay here again !!!!!

  This is our second season renting a condo in Portofino, which is located very well within the lovely development of Lakewood and this one was superior to the last one. Portofino is located within walking distance to good shopping and eating venues. The unit is located inside the development, so there is no street noise. It's also oriented so the windows face east so there's plenty of light but not a lot of heat build-up. The unit is very well appointed and has all of the essential cooking and entertainment equipment for a long enjoyable stay. Lastly, the landlords have been extemely accommodating.
