  The house was beautifully decorated in black and white theme giving us the feeling of old Hollywood glam. The beds were very comforatable and the linens very cozy. The highlight of the house was the pool and spa. We could hardly get our children out of the pool to go exploring! The location was perfect for us. We had planned on visiting Universal Studios and Hollywood, both of which were so easy to access from the house. It was truly amazing how close it was to everything yet how far away from it all you felt in the back yard by the pool. I would highly recommend this property and would love to return someday!

  After traveling for 24 hours we arrived at Ivy Cottage to a peaceful and extremely well cared for property. With great beds, 3 living areas, 2 bathrooms, double glazing, air conditioning, 2 TVs, Bosh appliances it was perfect for my family of 3. We were central to every wear within 30 minutes from Santa Monica, Camarillo Premium Outlets and the Hollywood sign. Next door is a great super market with Starbucks on the corner. You will find the fabulous hosts Kate and Garry more than helpful. The Ivy Cottage was our No 1 accommodation for our US trip which included 4 Seasons in Vegas.

  Our family (3 adults and 2 kids) rented the Ivy Cottage during our spring break vacation in LA. The cottage was beautifully appointed and the location was simply awesome! The house is exactly as pictured - actually even better than the pictures ! It was so nice to be able to relax here after spending the entire day sightseeing. The backyard is so peaceful - hard to believe that the house is located just off a busy thoroughfare. The house has everything you can ask for - extra linens, multiple TVs, full kitchen etc etc. The kitchen was even stocked with basics like sugar, tea, etc. The owner was so hospitable - she greeted us upon arrival and showed us around. I would highly recommend this property to anyone vacationing in the Los Angeles area - especially if you are a family. I know for sure that we would definitely rent the Ivy Cottage again if we visit again.

  I was in LA for the Grammy's and other business reasons and instead of staying at a hotel I decided to rent a house. I chose Studio City which gave me all the access I needed for my business. The house "The Ivy Cottage" was incredible. It was elegant and beautifully decorated. It was fully equipped with everything you could want. I entertained while I was there and it worked perfectly with an elegant dining room with fire place and a relaxing living room with another fire place and a library ideal for my meetings. The bedrooms and furniture were comfortable and luxurious. The back garden with a pool and hot tub was quiet and secluded with Palm trees and flowering bushes. The house also had walking access to food shopping, restaurants and many other amenities. I highly recommend this property and the owner is accommodating and helpful.

  Our trip to the Los Angeles area was special in every way thanks to this beautiful home. Katherine was a joy to work with and she has made this idyllic spot a showplace. The house is beautifully furnished with many nice touches like heavy towels, robes, great sheets, basic foods and spices, and a great entertainment set up. The salt water pool and hot tub were always a welcome sight after a day of sightseeing. In fact, we spent far more time lazing around the pool than we expected to. It was hard to tear yourself away. The location could not be better. You are literally around the corner from Ralph’s grocery and Starbucks. If you prefer not to drive, there are so many restaurants and shops within walking distance that you could spend your whole vacation right in the area. We are already planning our next visit to this lovely home. It was just what we were looking for. Thanks again!

  We thoroughly enjoyed our time in LA largely due to how well the Ivy Cottage fit our needs! The location is excellent- close to all of the essentials. Coffee and supermarket were literally a stones throw away and nice restaurants were just a short drive off. Easy access to downtown LA, beaches, coliseum etc. The house worked perfect for us (two couples) and was very cozy. Pool/outside area is great and private. Check in and out were a breeze, plus Gary & Katharine were a pleasure to deal with. Beautiful home, wonderful people. Thank you!

  The Ivy Cottage was perfect for our family of four. We enjoyed a wonderful relaxing time there and the owners went out of their way to ensure our comfort. As others have stated, it is in a great location with Ralph's and Starbucks so close by. Even though the house is close to great shopping and restaurants, you would never know it as it is located in a very quiet neighbourhood. The house was very clean and well maintained. I would not hesitate to recommend it and we look forward to coming back!

  Despite a rough check in, we really enjoyed our stay at the ivy cottage. We loved the modern Hollywood glam decor. The photos were an accurate representation of the property. The location was ideal with Ralph's and Starbucks footsteps always and all the restaurants of Ventura street close by. We had a lot of friends and family visit us at the house and found the backyard pool to be perfect hang out spot. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

  The Ivy Cottage was more than we had expected. It was much larger than a cottage and filled with antique and quality furniture. You truly feel as if you are staying in a home, not a rental. The Ivy in the name comes from the fantastic ivy that grows on the walls around the pool creating a very private oasis around the pool and hot tub. The backyard pool area is so awesome that we had to force ourselves to leave and go site seeing. The location of the Ivy Cottage made seeing in the area easy, everything was close by... all of Hollywood, the beach, Griffin Park and observatory, Rodeo Drive, Pink's, walking to/from shopping, etc. The fact that a major grocery store is a one minute walk away is fantastic when you are tired from travel, but want a home cooked meal. It is amazing to realize that on the corner is a busy world, but the cottage is so quiet and peaceful, you can forget you are in the heart of everything. You will be more than pleased when you choose to stay here. Katherine is a warm host and very willing to accomodate you.

  My family and I stayed at The Ivy Cottage for 3 nights. It was a short stay but very enjoyable. This home is in a perfect location, all the major attractions are very close by. There is a grocery store right around the corner and a Starbuck's on the opposite corner. The owner greeted us upon arrival and showed us around. This home is very well mantained and clean, the family room has a really nice television. We would definitely recommend this property to any family considering vacationing in Los Angeles.
