We absolutely Loved the house and the location. A lot of wildlife to see and by far the most beautiful of all the years we have been up to Angel Fire. I would rate this excellent but we had a hard time with the temperature in the house. The upstairs stayed really hot, compared to the downstairs. The heaters downstairs did not heat up the bedroom sufficiently. We did have the pipes freeze the last night we were there, but when the temperature was -25 below zero....I guess that is to be expected. A lovely house, loved the extra bathrooms.. will return!

This home was a delightful place to relax and also a home base for seeing the many local attractions. We highly recommend it to anyone wanting to get away to a peaceful place to enjoy a relaxing vacation.

Great Summer Area
Great Summer Area
The Angel Fire area was great for our family of 4. We were able to horseback ride, ride four-wheelers, take a trip to Taos, lots of hiking, paddleboating and we rode the chairlift to the top of the mountain. It was a great summer trip away from the Texas heat. The home had everything we needed to prepare food and live comfortably. The beds were amazingly soft and there was plenty of room to relax inside or out and some games and toys for the kids.

My family of 5, and our friends family of 5, with a total of 10 people stayed over New Years. It was the perfect place to stay- plenty of room, and a great location. We loved the amenities and the decorating!! The price divided between the two families made it very affordable too- cheaper than staying at a LaQuinta for the week and a million times nicer !

Blessings, Brad and Kathleen Watson SHORT TERM RENTAL AGREEMENT This Short Term Rental Agreement (the “Agreement”) is made by and between Brad and Kathleen Watson (“Homeowners”) and the guest who has reserved 255 Via del Rey, as of the acceptance of this rental agreement, and the payment of the reservation deposit, For good and valuable consideration, the sufficiency of which is acknowledged, the parties hereby agree as follows: 1. Property. The property is located at: 255 Via del Rey, Angel Fire, New Mexico The property is furnished and includes dishwasher, stove, microwave, grill, washer/ dryer, coffee maker, toaster oven, blender, crock pot, pots and pans, utensils, towels, linens, 2 flat screen TVs 2. Rental Party: The rental party shall consist of the number of guests registered, and no more. NO pets unless you have written consent from owners and have paid additional fee. 3. Maximum Occupancy: The maximum number of guests is limited to 10 persons, unless you have written consent form owners. Not to exceed 12 at any time. 4. Term of the Lease. The lease begins at 3:00 p.m. on the “Check-in Date” and ends at 10:00 a.m. on the “Checkout Date”, when you and your possessions must be vacated prom premises. 5. Minimum Stay: This property requires a 5 night minimum stay during the Holidays. If a rental is taken for less than 2 days, the guest will be charged the 2 night rate. 6. Rental Rules: Guest agrees to abide by the Rental Rules attached as Exhibit A at all times while at the property and shall cause all members of the rental party and anyone else Guest permits on the property to abide by the following rules at all times while at the property. 7. Access: Guest shall allow Homeowner access to the property for purposes of repair and inspection. Homeowner shall exercise this right of access in a reasonable manner. Rental Rate. 50% of the payment plus the insurance amount of $49 is due upon reservation, the remaining 50% is due thirty (15) days in advance of your arrival. e. December -> March, ski season $299 per night, $1799 per week f. April -> November, off season $199 per night $1200 per week g. Holidays: $399 per night $2450 per week h. Christmas- Dec 16 -> Jan 6 * All prices are subject to adjustment when i. Spring break March 10->24 promotions are being offered j. 2 night minimum during off season, a 3 night minimum during ski season, and a 5 night minimum over holidays k. MC & Visa excepted l. Tax rate 10.5% m. Discount for repeat visitors, and rebates for referrals n. Maid service is available at any time during your stay at an additional $25 per hour, contact us to schedule. 9. Home is privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise. 4. Keep the property and all furnishings in the good condition as found, and in order. Return everything to its original place upon checking out 5. Only use appliances for their intended uses 6. Pets are NOT allowed unless you have written permission from owner. 7. Parking: Parking available for two cars in the garage. A remote can be found in the downstairs hall. 8. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. The house will be cleaned before your arrival and after your departure. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the units. 9. The fireplace is a non-vented propane gas log fired firebox. Please do not throw any paper or other combustible materials in the fireplace.] [Fireplaces are turned off from May through October; they are not operational during this time of the year.] 10. Storms: No refunds will be given for storms. [Mountain roads to get to Angel Fire can be curvy and steep. Gravel drives are well maintained; however, we highly recommend four wheel drive and/or chains during the snow months. We do not refund due to road conditions.]

We designed this home around friends and family. Now we LOVE Angel Fire all the more, and have a hard time pulling ourselves away to return to the low lands and 'real life'!!! Why the Owner Chose Angel Fire:
We fell in love with this location the fist time we saw it! The house is on one of the few aspen groves in the mountain range. It is 5 min to the ski resort, and only two to the country club, & is surrounded by other beautiful homes. Angel Fire is situated in between Red River and Taos, which gives us a perfect place to explore all 3 towns, ski resorts and numerous National Forests.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
I love that there is a stove or fireplace in almost every room- supper warm and cozy with so much ambiance! This home has a tank-less hot water heater, which means even with ten showers back to back no one gets stuck with cold water. I also love that the driveway is flat and easy to ascend with a heated garage. SO many of the houses up here are miles up steep roads and hard to get to, and the driveways and even harder climb.
