Welcome to our Viking Villa, a charming townhome located in Winter Park, Colorado at the boundary to the Arapahoe National Forest, with a modern kitchen, a 2-car heated garage, a spacious and luxurious floor plan, with wonderful access to the mountains.
The villa, which is ideally located next to hiking trails, mountain biking trails and a ski trail from the Winter Park Ski Areas, offers great opportunities for an active mountain holiday. The shops and restaurants of Winter Park are less than half a mile away and the FREE ski shuttle bus stop is located immediately outside the house providing easy access to the Winter Park Ski Areas.
The 3-story villa offers 2,250 sq ft living area, 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a modern kitchen, 1 balcony and 1 terrace deck, and a gas fireplace. The villa sleeps 10 people comfortably. A cozy living room with a cosy gas fireplace invites you to relax after an active day in the mountains. The home is equipped with 4 new flat screen TVs!
The spacious kitchen is equipped with modern stainless steel appliances, granite kitchen countertops, fully equipped with coffee machine, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer and oven range.
The living room has comfortable sofas, flat-screen TV, and a dining area. The living room has a pull out couch, which can be used as an additional double bed. Although we do not have a hot tub, the master bathroom features a 2-person jetted tub. You can enjoy the sun during the day and into the evening on our south facing balcony or BBQ on our terrace deck.
The house is ideal for those of you who would like to be in the mountains, away from the hustle, in a quiet and serene neighborhood, within walking distance to the village, shops and restaurants of Winter Park. Enjoy the BBQ on our patio with your friends and family!
The house is kids-friendly and family oriented, with lots of space to play and hang out, and you could easily invite 3 families to spend the holidays together in the house. We have lots of children toys and board games at the house, and baby high chairs, booster seats and baby cribs at your disposal. The floor plan is well laid out with a separate groundfloor guestroom, a kids bedroom on the first floor and 2 large master bedrooms on the top floor.
For intermediate and advanced skiers and snowboarders we recommend to ski in after a day on the mountain back to our Viking Villa from the bottom of Pioneer Express along a 5-10 minute trail through the Arapahoe Forest. The trail is easy and typically well tracked and ends right in front of our house on Vasquez/Viking Drive.
To maintain the pristine surroundings and the quiet neighborhood, we enforce strict parking rules and quiet times at the Viking Villa: a) A maximum of 3 vehicles are allowed to be parked in our driveway. At no time shall any vehicle block adjacent unit parking spaces, or block access to adjoining garages. Additional cars should be parked downtown. b) At 10:00 PM Quiet Time is firmly enforced (with the exception of New Year’s Eve, which instead begins at 12:15AM). If inquiring rental guests wish to have a party beyond 10:00PM, we advise that you rent with a different property and not with Viking Villa.

We were a group of 10 women who stayed at Viking Villa for 3 days and 2 nights. Everyone absolutely loved the place!! This house is very clean, has up-to-date appliances (flat screen tv's, cable, LG fridge) and perfect furnishings. We did have a mishap with the toilet (it wasn't flushing), but got contacted about it as soon as reported it. Great location, too. If I ever return to winter park, I would absolutely stay here again. :)Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We stayed here for a ski weekend. The place made for a comfortable base for skiing at Winter Park. Children's toys, Kid's chair and portacot were an awesome addition to the condo's inventory. We had a very comfortable stay.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

We stayed here for 5 nights over Spring Break. The house is amazing! We had 4 adults and 6 children in our group. We fit perfectly and had plenty of room to spread out. We could have fit a few more actually. The house is close to everything in town, but is in a quiet neighborhood so you can relax in peace once you are done skiing. The bedrooms are all huge with plenty of closet space to store your stuff. The house is much newer than many others you might rent in town. All the appliances are new and in great working condition. We made a couple meals and had everything we needed, the kitchen is well stocked with bowls & etc. This has been my biggest complaint at other places we have stayed. The free bus does stop very close to the house if you don't want to drive to the slopes. We used the bus one day when some of us wanted to go the base later than others. Lars was so friendly and accommodating to work with. Can't wait to stay here again!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This townhouse was perfect! There were 4 adults and 4 kids in our group. There was plenty of space for all of us. We were very impressed with how well stocked the kitchen was with pots and pans, knives, silverware, etc. We were able to cook in every night and the kitchen had everything we needed! The location is great too! Close to everything in Winter Park and the shuttle is so convenient. We will be recommending this home to anyone wanting to stay in Winter Park!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

A wonderful time in a house that seems as though it was designed with our needs in mind. We had a family with an older child and two very young children, a newly married couple, and a family with older children. The young family took the basement bedroom so the rest of us wouldn't hear the crying. The older children stayed in the main floor bunk-room, and the other two couples stayed in the two bedrooms upstairs. The shuttle came right to the driveway to take everyone to the slopes, we took advantage of the local recreation center for swimming, and drove to the hot springs one evening, as well. The kitchen was a bit cramped but we made it work, and the house was in good working order. We had a fun time together and were well rested to take on the day's activities. We are talking about going back this summer!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

We had a GREAT time. The cabin was perfect. Lot's of room for 8 people. The shutte stopped right out front every day. Well stocked kitchen. We will likely return next year.Recommended for: Families with teenagers.

We had a great experience at Viking Villa! The townhouse came with everything we needed from a port-a-crib to extra blankets to a wonderfully appointed kitchen. The location was close to town and yet we felt like we were in the woods. The tall windows and light filled rooms were delightful! We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

Our family loved this house and location. It was a shame that the snow conditions were very late in the season because you can actually see from Winter Park back to the house. Great layout, plenty of tvs for teenagers or young childern. Very clean and well stocked.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

About the owner: My wife and I grew up near the mountains and hiking, mountainbiking and skiing are our favorite hobbies. We now have 2 babies and our world travelling life style has slowed down a little, now we are happy to spend time at our Viking Villa in Winter Park and pretend to be ski-snowboard-mountainbiking-nut mountain-outdoor-fans, although the babies get all our attention.

Winterpark has a great family oriented ski area and its location is convenient to reach from Denver, Viking Villa is nestled against the Arapahoe Forest, trailheads starting just 2 minutes from our front door! We like to come here year round for the mountain biking and hiking in the summer, and the excellent ski conditions in the winter.

FREE shuttle bus stop directly in front of the property, no need to take the car to the resort, and its possible to take an ski track 5 minutes through the Arapahoe Forest back from the Ski Area to our property!
