I just got back from my amazing trip to Puerto Rico. We were a group of 6 ladies and this condo was just as it was described in the listing. Clean, comfortable & excellent Ocean View from the Balcony. We were happy with our location walking distance to many restaurants, casino, and less than a block from the beach. The condo had everything you needed and Ita the Owner is the sweetest lady you will ever meet. Oceano http://oceanopr.com/ was right across the street; Excellent Sunday Brunch Menu. Walgreens around the corner and a 10 min cab ride to Old San Juan. I look forward to returning to Puerto Rico and staying at this condo again. I would absolutely recommend this place to friends and family. Thank you Ita see you next year!

We had the Great pleasure of staying at this condo while on vacation in San Juan!!! There were 6 of us girls, and we had no problems at all!!! The penthouse was located on the top floor with views of the ocean. It was very clean, comfortable and stocked with all the basics. There was coffee, tea, milk, fruit, chocolates......fresh flowers on the table, laundry in the unit, beach towels, soap....pretty much anything you would need! And don't worry if you forget something, or you don't make it thru airport security with all your "stuff", because there is a Walgreens just steps away! Not to mention, all the things Ita had on hand. We felt very welcomed!!!!! The furniture was all new and very comfy!! The pictures and description of the property were all accurate. There were TV's in both bedrooms and in the living room with cable. You couldn't have asked for a better property owner!! Ita was so very friendly and helpful!! She had great suggestions for where the best restaurants were, local activities like the Farmers Market and what attractions were in the area. She also had great advise on transportation options. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is going to San Juan!! I would go back again in a heart beat!! Loved It!!!

We had three very enjoyable and comfortable nights in Ita's condo. She was extremely welcoming and had provided several nice touches that really went "the extra mile". She was very helpful with information on shopping, eating establishments and things to do in the area. The location is close to shopping and restaurants and is a VERY short walk from the beach where we played in some pretty awesome waves. The building is secure so we never worried about our belongings or safety. We feel like we have a new friend in Puerto Rico and would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is headed this way. We hope to stay there again. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality and great conversation Ita!

Great place, clean and furnished well. She has also necessary food items. Nice view of the clear ocean waters from the balcony outside the apartment. Centrally located in an exclusive area with good boutiques. Overall great experience.

It is an amazing apartment with ocean views from every room, 2 steps from the beach, located at a very lively and entertaining spot near Old Town San Juan. All of us, including our four kids (ages 10 - 17) had so much fun! Ita is the best possible hostess that anybody can dream about and made our visit unforgettable. We highly recommend this place - will definitely try to go again!

This was your first experience renting a condo through VRBO and everything was wonderful! The condo was spacious, clean, fully equipped and in a perfect location! Ita made us feel right at home and went beyond what she needed to do. The beach,restaurants and shops are located right by the condo and the area was safe. We would highly recommend this condo. We love Puerto Rico and hope to be back soon!

Here's the deal when you travel to a new place, you don't know anyone. However, when you stay at this property, you feel instantly like you know Ita and her family like they are family. She will welcome you and help you with anything she can to make you feel comfortable and at home. It is a very secure feeling. She is great and so is the apartment. Enjoy.

We (my girlfriends and I) visited San Juan in an attempt to escape reality and what a wonderful escape it was :) Our host for the apartment Ita is such an an amazing woman and I can honestly say that we have met no one like her. Every imaginable item that we needed whether it be kitchen ware or suntan lotion was in the apartment and if we had any problems, Ita was there instantly to help us. She is such a sweet and caring woman so we made it our goal to treat her home with respect and keep it clean even in the midst of six drunken nights and six girls putting together ten thousand different outfits! Condado is also such a wonderful area...very safe and very convenient...located about 15 mins from old san juan....also the beach was like ten steps away! Other awesomeness included a parking spot and washing machines! We had an amazing time and you will too if you decide to stay here!

i just returned from san juan after me and four friends spent a week in itas condo,this was my first expeirence with vrbo and i couldnt have been more pleased!! let me start by saying location location location steps from the beach and a great beach bar, located right between la concha and the merreit,walgreens down the street, great resturants all around..if you like night life its all there as well..but the condo is fantastic!! ocean views from every room..but the owner ita is what makes it so special when we arrived the fridge was stocked with bottle water, oranges, apples, chocolates,a bottle of wine,coffee unreal!! the condo has every thing you need from hair dryers to can openers,coolers for the beach,boogie boards beach towels....washer and dryer with detergent..this place is very clean,safe and theres a great fitness center on the bottom...ita the owner lives on the property and is a amaizing wonderfull caring person and will help you anyway she can..i cant say enough great things about this place!! Sure i could nit pick the wifi wasnt the best..but who cares we were on vacation condondo beach is steps away..drinking coffee on the balcony is amazing, theres two casinos a block away,steller food all around,great night life clubs and bars,,86 degrees and sunny and and you DO NOTneed a car!!!butif you have one we did,theres a assigned parking space in the underground garage) i cant wait to get back there and see my new friend Ita and stay in the best place in san juan!!!!

We stayed with few friends for 7 nights. The property was as advertised, clean, well appointed. All appliances worked very well. Good supply of clean towels and also beach towels and equipment. No problems at all. Our hostess was extremely kind and welcoming. She stocked the fridge with water & even chocolates for us,.The beach,restaurants and shops are located right by the condo and the area was safe. We would highly recommend this condo. Owner easy to work with and responsive.A good experience and good value. This was my 1st trip to Puerto Rico and I would return to this property again and again.

Our hostess was extremely kind and welcoming. She stocked the fridge with water & even chocolates for the kids. She was very helpful and said she plans to update the property. It was spotlessly clean. The condo is older but very centrally located in a safe area of town. You can walk to the market, restaurants, rental car company & of course the beach is at the back door.

Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car.

Our Experience Could Not Have Been Better

Our stay here was simply amazing from beginning to end. Ita, the owner, really takes hospitality to a whole other level. The second our reservation was confirmed, Ita was a complete pleasure to speak with on the phone, and very good about making sure our initial rondevous went without a hitch. Upon meeting Ita, she immediately made us all feel like family. She stocked the fridge with water and coffee, and even got us some bananas and chocolates (which we're delicious!). We had a great time meeting her, getting a tour of the apartment, and after that she let us have our privacy for the rest of the trip (not that I wouldn't have minded coffee one day! Maybe next time). The unit is simply gorgeous. Large windows in every room, with amazing views of the city made everything seem sunny and cheery. There are four beds in total which comfortably fit all five of the people in our group, and the two bathrooms were helpful as well! The unit is very secure, with 3 or 4 points of locked security that you must go through. At first, that seemed like a lot, but we were happy to feel our possessions and ourselves were so secure. The unit is located right by the beach, and right in the middle of the hotel/casino district, so we had loads of interesting things to do at night and during the day. Upon completing our stay, Ita was yet again extremely friendly, talkative, and simply great, assuring us that after a quick walkthrough we'd recieve our security deposit back right away. After leaving, Ita called me to inform me that I had left an important charger in the unit, but assured me that she would mail it to me (free of charge!) and that it was no problem. A few days after returning home, I recieved my charger in the mail, and my entire security deposit was returned. I cannot thank Ita enough for being so hospitable towards us, and for leaving such a positive impression on our vacation. I would reccommend this property to anyone. We certainly hope to stay with Ita again someday!

Great location and nice clean apartment. Owner is very friendly, kind and helpful. We really enjoyed meeting her and took her advice several times. Apartment is older, but comfortable and very safe. So much right there including fabulous restaurants. Will be back!

From the minute we touched down in San Juan, We were met outside of the condo with hugs and kisses. We loved the owner from the minute we saw her, she went above and beyond her duties to make sure we were safe, had everything we needed and that we felt comfortable. The condo itself was very nice, spacious (we had 5 adults staying there) we felt very safe. Half a block from the beach, which was awesome and it is located on the main shopping and dining strip of Condado. Had the time of our lives, miss it already. If you are thinking of staying in San Juan, this is a great place! We had friends staying at La Concha who were jealous of our accommodations. We are already planning to return next year!

Phenomenal! From booking to departure!

(1) Booking: Quick to respond to inquiries. Simple rental agreement. Secure deposit and payment thru VRBO payment system. I was able to do all this in less than 24hrs. (2) Arrival: Ita Santiago is absolutely wonderful! She treated all of us like we were part of her family. The apartment was extremely clean from floor to ceiling, towels and bedding. Once our introductions were over, she respected our privacy for the rest of the week. Like every other review, she is very accommodating and tries to take care of any issues ASAP. (3) Location: Condado... upper middle class area in San Juan loaded with restaurants, bars, and casinos. I prefer this area over the more "Americanized" Isla Verde. (4) During stay: Everything we needed was included in the apartment (including a hair dryer and iron!). All we bought was some food and drinks. The best part... the washer and dryer! (5) Departure: Once again, easy. Handed over the keys with a quick walk thru. Two days later, deposit is returned. Overall... excellent rental unit. I am definitely going to stay here next time I visit PR and recommend it to my friends.

I stayed with my family, a total of 6 of us and enjoyed it very much. It is at the center of Ashford ave where all the bars and restaurants are. The property has 2 bedrooms two bathrooms and a decent living room and kitchen. It feels like a home away from home. The owner Ita was the best she ensured we were ok the entire time and made sure we had everything we needed. I will definitely want to stay there again.

This was my first experience using VRBO. Three of my girlfriends and I rented the condo so that we would have more space than in a hotel room. Not to speak in hyperbole, but we had the greatest experience ever! Ms. Ita, the owner, was incredibly welcoming to us and made us feel right at home from the beginning. The condo was spotlessly clean, and she had some necessities (coffee, water, etc.) stocked in the fridge for us before our arrival. The condo comes with a parking space in the underground garage, which proved incredibly helpful. Parking on the street and in the surrounding lots looked like a total headache, and we loved having a rental car to get around the island. The condo is very spacious for four people. We each had our own bed and had two bathrooms to share. I stayed with the same set of girls in a very small hotel room in NYC this summer, and you can imagine how much we loved having all the space! The living room is very comfy, and there is a small dining area as well. The condo is also very secure, which was important to us as a group of girls traveling. The elevator only operates with a key, and the front doors to the building require keys as well. We were particularly pleased with this feature. In addition to the condo being absolutely wonderful, it is perfectly located. We loved the Condado area. We walked to dinner both Friday and Saturday night, and we were one block from the beach. We rented beach chairs at the Marriott on the beach -- also super easy! On Saturday we took a quick, easy cab ride over to Old San Juan to explore. We had originally looked at staying in Old San Juan, but we were happy that we wound up choosing this condo in Condado. For staying purposes, there was simply more room to maneuver in Condado, and it was very easily accessible by cab. (I do not recommend trying to drive to Old San Juan.) We highly recommend renting a car, which as I mentioned above is super easy with this unit. During our trip we explored the El Yunque rainforest and a beach on the east side of PR. And the best thing we did all weekend was a kayak trip in a bioluminescent bay in that area. In sum, we had a phenomenal stay. We could not have asked for a better unit or a warmer welcome from the owner, and PR was simply a great place to visit. The four of us highly recommend this unit and PR in general. And due to the excellent experience we had here, we will likely use VRBO from now on when we travel.

we stayed here for 4 nights. it is a wonderful location, right in the heart of condado, on the main street, and just one building in from the ocean. the neighborhood is fantastic, and the condo is super convenient to everything. we felt very safe: the building is very secure, with two locked entry doors, and even the elevators need keys to operate. there are only five condos per floor, and this condo itself is on the top floor. great views, great breezes, great ocean sounds and views, very clean, and recently renovated. there is one on-suite huge bedroom, and another smaller but nice-sized bedroom with full bath just across the hall. the condo has everything, from full kitchen to washer/dryer to flat-screen tv. there is even a parking space that we used. and the owners are fantastic: sweet and caring and ready to help with anything that you might need. plus, the owners live in the building. overall, a great place. we highly recommend it.

Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car.

My two girlfriends and I stayed here recently. It was simple, practical, cozy and I really felt at ease. Easy to get around, washer and dryer helped a LOT! Rooms were huge... A/C in the bedrooms only... No pool in this building but we would've never used it anyway with the beach in the backyard. The best location ever near all of Puerto Rico's hot spots. Highly recommend.

My family and I stayed at this property. The owner Ita was so hospitable that we cannot stop discussing her. She certainly went out of our her way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. I will recommend this property to all and sundry. The location is one of teh best which is in the hub of all the activities.
