  Fabulous views and location. Easy walk to town. House spacious and beachy comfortable. Weather was perfect. We ranged in age from 2 to 72 and everyone had a wonderful time. Two year old especially loved the hidden playroom. However, this is not the best option for anyone with mobility issues. Lots of stairs in house. Stairs to beach are right across the street, but very steep. Driveway also very steep. Would definitely stay here again. Enjoyed two wonderful dinners at the Wayfarer Restaurant and highly recommend the Local Grill and Scoop for more casual dining.

  my family of 5 stayed here in January 2013 and had a wonderful time. the house is so big and has many wonderful rooms and nooks and crannies to explore. we didn't have young kids with us but this house would be Kid Heaven! there was even a loft with tons of games and a secret play cubby in the basement! it does have a lot of stairs but we did fine even with a disabled person who walks with a walker. it was extremely comfortable and relaxing. a couple of teeny suggestions to make it even nicer: it would have been nice to have a couple of Duraflame-type logs on hand to build a fire right away, and a lot of times there's a bottle of cooking oil in the pantry but there wasn't here, so we had to get back in the car and go to the store before we could start a fire or cook the food we brought from home. but very minor points! we loved this house and recommend it highly!

  We held a memorial gathering here for a dear friend who loved Haystack Rock. People came from Boston, Atlanta and Colorado, and all agreed the setting is perfect, the house is well-appointed and and the accommodations are well-suited for 4 couple/families. The views are lovely, the access to the beach is quick and easy, and the house is near to the beautiful trails at Oswald West State Park. We all agreed we couldn't have asked for anything more.

  Great views. As the weather was not very good it was great to be able to watch the ocean in comfort. There was lots of space. Each group in our party felt like they had their own private space while there was plenty of space to be together. It was a very enjoyable time.

  The family was surprised to be exactly across the street from Haystack Rock, in a multi-layer house with a darling terrace, table and chairs, outside three of the bedrooms, all facing the beach. All sorts of fun nooks and crannies for comfort and fun. Cannon Beach is a wonderful, small, artsy town full of good food and wonderful shops. We've had five reuinions in Cannon Beach, at a different house each time, and this was the best of all.

  Great beach house for extended family. Wonderful views throughout the house. Many private areas for relaxing and visiting separately from the main living area. Our grandkids loved the little play room tucked away off the lower stairs. The house has lots of stairs, but that is to be expected since it is built on a steep hillside. It has a magical feel to it, with all the different nooks and levels and there is so much space to go and hide if you want. I'm sure we will be back!

  My husband, our two dogs and I loved this place! Every attention to detail was provided. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck overlooking the ocean and having our morning cup of coffee. You can even walk to town for dinner. Cannon Beach is a quaint small town, a "Carmel of the Pacific Northwest." The beaches were beautiful and very dog friendly. We will stay again, maybe for a month next time...
