We had never been to Sarasota before, and this turned out to be a perfect place to stay. The owner has thoughtfully provided tons of "what-to-do, where-to-eat" literature. The house feels "just done", with a well-equipped kitchen, beach equipment, everything you can think of. The large tropical garden in the back with multiple seating areas was a nice surprise, more lush and bigger than the photos can show. The nearby Publix supermarket was a nice plus. Selby Gardens was great, and a visit to the Amish section of town was memorable. We had great food at Derek's and Mosaic for dinner.Recommended for: People with disabilities, sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway, age 55+.
Owner response: Thanks so much ! It was a pleasure having you. It is nice to have guests appreciate the garden like you did.. Hope to see you back .

I stayed at this house while visiting with my parents, who had a full house with other visitors. The house was very comfortable, and the perfect size for me and my children. You can tell a lot of thought went into the house and its decor, very welcoming. New kitchen and bath - wonderful. Adorable lanai and beautiful back yard (that we did not get to use enough). Used the washer/dryer, which was great to have as I pack light with two kids. 2 minutes from downtown, 5 minutes from St. Armand's, and 10 minutes from my favorite Siesta Beach. The owners were extremely friendly, and the value could not be beat. I would definitely stay again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.
Owner response: Thanks so much. We sure hope you come back !

Absolutely fantastic time. As previous reviewers have said, the house is convenient to EVERYTHING. You want the beach? 10 minutes. You want shopping? 10 minutes or less. Great restaurants, sightseeing, spectacular sunsets, and Siesta Key Beach is the icing. The owners are wonderful-even printing out our boarding passes for the trip home. The house itself is comfortable enough to live in year round. It has everything you would need (beach gear, info on the area, office supplies, fully equipped kitchen and comfortable bedrooms and bath. The lanai and backyard are worth the price of the rental alone. Perfect places for a book and a glass of wine. We will definitely be returning!Recommended for: People with disabilities, sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway, age 55+.
Owner response: Thanks for the glowing review. It was a pleasure having you..and thanks for taking such good care of the home too. See you next year. Patrick and Maureen

Located just outside downtown Sarasota, and minutes from everything you need, restaurants, bars and shopping. Location, it's a short drive (short but beautiful drive) to St. Armands Circle or the beach. You couldn't ask for a more central location. The property itself is beautiful inside, hardwood and granite, it's beautiful. Perfect for a couple of a couple with 1 or 2 small children. I've stayed at the house many times, and enjoyed my stay each and every time. Check it out, not to be missed!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway, age 55+.

The property is pristine with every possible amenity (and if you need something that isn't in the rental property, just ask and it will appear - we needed a blender, went out to explore the neighborhood and it was there waiting for us when we came back). Photos are accurate and appearance is comfortable and modern. You can eat off the floors. The yard is a dream and looks professionally landscaped. The linens are fresh and clean. Every detail was attended to. The owners are next door and while they are respectful of your privacy, should you need them they are there at a moment's notice. They are very knowledgable about the area and there is a ton of literature in the home - you will not run out of things to do. We needed a place to take our son trick or treating and they told us about the perfect spot. Siesta Key and it's beautiful, white sand beach is an easy 10 minute drive away, the shopping is great and St Armand's Circle is 5 minutes away (the Lilly Pulitzer store alone is worth the trip). Tons of restaurants, bars and fun things to do. Lots of culture and the arts here are highly celebrated. And you are literally in the middle of it all. It took us no longer than 10 minutes in any direction to get to our planned (and unplanned) destinations. Seriously, I would live here. That's how nice it is. I would highly recommend this property to friends and relatives and we will definitely be back again. 5 stars aren't enough. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your lovely vacation home!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway, age 55+.
Owner response: Thanks for your glowing review !! I hope to see you back soon if not as tenants as neighbors.

We loved being here, hosts were accommodating and flexible. The location was excellent for us and we loved how cute the place is. It was easy to keep and very comfortable. The beds were cozy. The air-conditioning a bit noisy for me as I'm not used to air conditioning coming from a cooler climate. The house was very clean and easy to keep that way. The instructions were easy to follow. I always google earth a place so I have seen it before I've seen it, so there are no surprises. It's walking distance to a really nice part for walk, running, playing and it's walking distance to several amenities. Very convenient and very quite area.Recommended for: People with disabilities, sightseeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+.
Owner response: Thanks so much..Fixed the AC. Hope you come back soon. Maureen
