The apartment is the entire second story of a small building in the Village center and as such offers complete privacy. The interior was designed and furnished with extreme care and attention to detail. Many of the furnishings were designed by some of today's top contemporary designers. Within its peaceful and uncluttered interiors, you'll find it easy to relax and unwind.
The apartment features a queen-size bed, generous closets, a large living room with vaulted ceiling, antique rugs, and a full kitchen with dishwasher. A balcony with french café chairs and table opens up off the living room. A stow-away bed (available upon request) allows for a third guest.
It's a great base for exploring Litchfield County's charming small towns, lovely scenery, and impressive arts scene.

The apartment is perfect for those looking to recharge in a quiet country home with all the modern amenities. The apartment is beautiful and tastefully decorated - not one of those country B&Bs that look like an antique warehouse. While the apartment itself is very quiet, it is conveniently located right off Main street near all the shops and restaurants, and it is driving/hiking distance from state parks, etc. Nancy was a great host who responded promptly and responded to our questions/requests. The apartment is also outfitted for household appliances/supplies you may need on a vacation stay. I would highly recommend this apartment for parents visiting nearby boarding schools and couples young or old looking for a getaway. Depending on what you are in the mood for -- antiquing, visiting galleries, outdoor adventures, or just a quiet place to unwind, this is a great place to customize your vacation itinerary.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

This apartment is the perfect place to stay while visiting students at Kent. It has everyhting you could need for a comfortable stay. It is in the center of town and covenient to the school, restaurants, and the coffee shop. Nancy was very easy to work wit hand made my stay easy. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting a beautiful place to stay.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

This is a great place- its one that I could live in! The apartment is well kept and solid- both with respect to design and construction. Being in the design industry I travel a lot for work and I have enjoyed my stays at the apartment; it reminds me more of an urban loft ( a nice one ) instead of the typical country style that one encounters in the area- which is refreshing to see and experience. The photos on the site review dont quite do the place enough justice. The apartment itself feels larger than it is due to the high ceilings and the tall windows which at times can have you feeling a bit like you are on stage, but the overall actual privacy is good. I watched a couple of great storms roll in through the windows this fall- really cool. The best part is having the ability to walk a few steps to main street to get a coffee at JPG or over to Docs for dinner- and then back to you own private retreat. I will be back!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

My wife and I stayed at this beautiful apartment in Kent, Connecticut. We had a nice and relaxing time exploring the surrounding areas. The apartment is beautifully done. We spent an entire day just staying in the apartment relaxing. Kent is very accessible to all the surrounding towns in Litchfield Hills. The owners/managers were very responsive and helpful. Great place to stay to relax and get away. We will be visiting again in the future.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers.

Kent was named "No. 1 Best Foliage Town in New England" by Yankee Magazine in 2010. And the foliage is spectacular. But the area is a great destination in any season.
In the summer, festivals and events---almost too many to choose from---fill the calendar. In the fall, there's that foliage, and harvest festivals and apple-picking beckon. Winter is quiet and lovely for skiing, snow-shoeing, and hiking (Kent Falls shrouded in ice is something to behold!). Spring-time brings renewal and gratitude for living in such a lovely, unspoiled landscape.
