This place was incredible. The pictures on the website do not do this cabin justice. Cabin was equipped with all the amenities of home. Owners welcomed us with open arms and were very helpfull. Property was very clean and well maintained. Cabin fit our family, 2 adults and 2 children, ages 4 and 7 perfectly. Property is close to skiing and the main road. We plan on making this property our home away from home every thanksgiving.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, families with teenagers.
Owner response: Thanks for your great review of "Mountain Peeks" We as well as the owners strive to keep the Cabin Clean And well stocked for visitors. Thanks Bill & Nancy Mgrs.

We have just returend from the most refreshing mountain vacation in magnificant Maggie Valley. This log "cabin" home was comfortably enjoyed by ourselves and two other guest couples.........perfect in that every couple had their own bedroom/bathrooms! The owners have made sure that there is NOTHING that you have to bring but yourselves. We were all hoping to escape the heat & himidity of Eastern North Carolina and Mother Nature made sure we did just that. Never a need to run the AC during the day, because of the beautiful cross ventilation of windows and the spacious decks (wiht perfect mountain views)........and nighttime sleeping was enjoyed under a comforter, with temps outside hovering around the mid-50's to 60. We enjoyed two rounds of golf nearby, tried many local restaurants, plus shopping and dining in nearby Waynesville, spent an evening up the mountain at the Cataloochee Ranch for a superb cookout and evening entertainment meal. We also easily drove to Ashville for a day of sightseeing, taking advantage of the Grey Line "hop On - Hop Off" tours from the Ashville Visitor Center. It's just a matter of checking our 2013 calendar to go back to this super rental cabin and would highly recommend it to ALL of our friends !Recommended for: Girls getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers.

We rented this cabin for a week vacation to go skiing. It was in a great location close to the ski lodge. It accommodated 2 families with a total of 10 people comfortably. The cabin had a nice view from the balcony and was very clean. I would recommend it to anyone who would want to go to Maggie Valley. The Manager was very nice and helpful. We will definately visit again real soon.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

We spent Christmas in the cabin and we had a blast. It snowed the last night and day we were there and we were hoping that it would. Our two teenage boys loved the den in the basement, that's where we spent most of our time. It was such a beautiful cabin. We loved it and we can't wait to go back and stay again.Recommended for: Girls getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.
Owner response: Thanks for your responce about Mountain Peeks cabin. See you soon Bill & Nancy

Decided to change things up this year for Thanksgiving, and we couldn't be more pleased with the rental we chose. Very beautiful and well maintained home, great mountain views, but still close to everything. Our dad passed away in September, so we decided to take our mom away and enjoy the mountains this year. Had our Thanksgiving meal at J. Arthurs, wonderful experience. The home has plenty of room, especially liked the 3 separate bathrooms, and the living areas. Bill was a pleasure to work with, and everything went off without a hitch! I would highly recommend this home to anyone wanting a relaxing vacation. Phil Florence, SCOwner response: Thank You and your family for staying in Mountain Peeks Cabin & the great review, Please come again. Bill & Nancy

Our family of 6 found plenty of space in this clean and well maintained cabin. The view out the back porch is spectacular (great place to have your morning cup of coffee with your spouse) and their are some great restaurants and a small grocery just down the lane. We had a great time hiking nearby waterfalls and visiting Cherokee for a true vision of what the Indian nation was and continues to be in North Carolina. We also hiked Chimney Rock on the way in and Linville caverns and Grandfather Mountain on the way out. We had a fantastic time. I give this cabin my highest recommendation .Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.
Owner response: Glad you enjoyed the area and most of all the Cabin. We strive to have a clean Cabin at all times, Thanks for the great review Bill & Nancy

We had a great stay at this beautiful cabin which was just minutes from the local restaurants and a mini grocery. There is a local pancake house just down the hill that had the best fresh fruit pancakes I have ever eaten. The cabin was very clean and everything was in good working order. I actually have a better picture of the mountain view out the back deck than the one on this listing. It is gorgeous ! We had a great time hiking nearby waterfalls and visiting nearby Cherokee and later ventured out to Linville Caverns and Grandfather Mountain. This was a first rate experience.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

Why the Owner Chose Maggie Valley:
We chose to buy in the mountains to enjoy the cool summers and skiing in the winter. It is relaxing to sit on the deck and read or just enjoy the view. Maggie Valley is a small, calm town away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Life operates on a much slower pace.
